Soil erosion is a serious problem resulting from agricultural intensification, land degradation and other anthropogenic activities.Soil erosion assessment is useful when planning and conducting conservation work on a watershed or basin. Modeling can provide a quantitative and consistent approach to estimating soil erosion and sediment release over a wide range of conditions. In this study, the universal soil loss equation (RUSLE) integrated with GIS was used to estimate soil loss in the Zhylanda basin lo-cated in the Northern part of Kazakhstan. Parameters of the RUSLE model were estimated using remote sensing Data, and zones of probability of erosion were determined using GIS. Estimated indicators of soil erodibility range from 0.001 to 1.631 t / year. The results obtained indicate that the estimated total annual potential soil loss is about 189.17 t / year. The predicted rate of soil erosion due to the increase in the area of agricultural land is about 250 t / year.As a result of the study, a map of the probability zone of erosion was obtained using the weighted overlay index method, which shows that a significant part of the studied area falls into the zone of high and very high probability of an erosion process.

Japanese trail, the Ayusai waterfall trail, the Myn Koz trail and the infrastructure map of Ayusai Gorge were created based on RS data. For the first time, when mapping this territory, satellite images were used and a database of tourist objects was created. The results of this work can be useful in the planning and travelling for consumers, as well as for the creation of a geoinfor-mation database of the national park.

water areas based on remote sensing methods, using data sets of Global Surface Water Explorer (GSWE) of the Landsat archive database, as well as to identify the suitability of data from various database sets for the study area. The main object of research is the datasets of the GSWE database and the Ertis river floodplain. Due to the fact that remote sensing data requires processing a large amount of information, com-puter analysis and synthesis methods, complex processing and analysis tools of the ArcGIS and Python systems were used. As a result of the study, the dynamics of flooding of the Ertis River floodplain was estimated based on the results of processing data sets of GSWE using various methods and approaches of remote sensing. During the research, several processed data from the GSWE database were checked and the dataset of Yearly Water Classification was determined suitable for our study area. The value of the article is based on the use of materials obtained using the remote sensing of the global data base for studying changes in the surface water area, their processing, as well as analyzing and evaluating database sets using the example of the studied area. Using methods of remote sensing of the Earth, it is possible to study and obtain data on large territories, hard-to-reach areas of the earth, as well as to obtain long-term data. This information allows us to establish patterns of changes in surface water areas, and helps to make optimal decisions for government authorities. Materials obtained from remote sensing data can be used in various fields. In particular, when investigating areas of flooding, environmental studies, etc.

In this paper, were analyzed long-time course of atmospheric circulation forms, the main ice parameters, average air temperature and the sum of negative air temperatures. Database was formed by air temperature, ice thickness and types of circulation. For types of atmospheric circulation the long-term average was recalculated. Between parameters are revealed correlations. According researches results, ice thickness was decrease with different weight. In the Caspian Sea, a decrease in ice thickness is ob-served. The average ice thickness is 40 cm. In the Middle Caspian, an increase in the frequency of ice cover is observed. The estimated contribution of each month to the cold season. The temperature effect of each month of the cold period and each type of atmospheric circulation effect were estimated. In the time course a stepwise transition from one stationary state to another was determined. This was reflected not only on the temperature, but also on all the parameters considered. The classification of winter spe-cies of the Caspian Sea under consideration, according to which there is an increase in the frequency of occurrence of mild and moderate winters.

The study of the Aral Sea water level and volume dynamics is an urgent scientific task due to the need to understand the mechanisms of natural, anthropogenic processes. In particular, the study of water balance component dynamics of Small Aral basin is the most important task in planning scenarios of water use, water protection in the region. In the proposed work, on the basis of machine learning methods, two statistical models were developed: a model that takes into account the variability of the monthly values of Syrdaria runoff and corresponding change in Small Aral water volume. In the low availability conditions of data from field observations, obtained operational estimates, which compose water balance component are the most important source of information about ongoing changes in studied basin. The proposed technique can used to obtain initial conditions in hydrodynamic modeling experiments, as well as to calculate climatic scenarios for development of the Aral hydrological system.

Assessment of the tourist-recreational potential of the Aktobe oblast is the main tool for determining the prospects for its development and strategic planning. The article presents the methodology and results of assessing the potential of tourist and recreational development of the Aktobe oblast. The integrated assessment of the tourist-recreational potential in the Aktobe oblast includes a criteria basis for evaluating three groups of tourism development resources: natural and climatic, historical and cultural, and socio-economic. Taking into account the lack of statistical indicators, the article analyzes the potential of tourism in the districts of Aktobe oblast on the basis of evaluation criteria selected using the General balance method. The tourist-recreational potential of natural and cultural resources of the Aktobe oblast has features that affect the development of the territorial organization of tourism. The objects of cultural and historical heritage that have been preserved to date reflect the identity of the Aktobe oblast. A thorough analysis of the results of the assessment of tourist and recreational activities of the oblast, competent work and investment give an idea of the territories where new tourist facilities may appear. As a result of the analysis, it turned out that these resources are located unevenly, and a high level of tourism development in the context of natural and climatic resources of the oblast is revealed in the service of tourists. The results of the analysis can be used to solve organizational and managerial tasks for the balanced development of tourism at the oblastal and local levels.
