This study focuses on the single-cycle stock replenishment strategies of perishable merchandise with price reduction, in which the stock shortage is permissible. It proposes a new Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model, and conducts one numerical example to show the effectiveness of the new EOQ model. Finally, it provides some potential issues for future research.

This study at first used the text mining method to analyze the keywords of the Chinese news reports related to Macan's gambling industry from June to September 2012. The study got 19 major keywords at the first step. In order to comprehend the influence of each keyword in each document, the study applied the Fruit Fly Optimization Algorithm to evaluate the Keywords Frequency Composite Function. The contributions of the study included the following two points: First, the study applied the text mining method to get the 19 major keywords and found the public opinion focus during the time frame. Second, the study found the Fruit Fly Optimization Algorithm as a useful tool to evaluate the Keywords Frequency Composite Function.

The exhibition effect is often deduced because the physical exhibition organizers were perplexed in a limit display space, logistic expenditure and short visiting time comparing with physical exhibition participants. In order to improve the effect of physical convention, the development of modern network technology and electronic commerce technology provides a reality for both traditional exhibitors and organizers. In this paper we discuss the new exhibition model based on the network technology, integrating the virtual display and physical exhibition together, which makes the combination of traditional exhibition period in actually forward extension and extended backward. By using of virtual network display, the life cycle of physical brand exhibition will also be prolonged.

To support and develop the convention industry has become an important link in Macau's Moderate Economic Diversification Strategy. Adopting the grey correlation analysis methodology, this paper studied the industrial relevancy between the convention industry and the other related industries along the convention industrial chain. The computation results of industrial relevancy show that Macau's convention industry has the biggest pull effect on the gaming industry and the retail industry while the least effect on the tourism industry. This finding reminds Macau that in addition to positioning itself as the “World Center of Tourism and Leisure”, it also needs to make better use of its unique historical and cultural resources to create tailor-made tourist and leisure products for the convention industry in the segmentation market of convention tourism.

This paper uses 2003-2011 quarterly data to analyze the effect of labor migrations on Macau economic development by studying the manufacturing, constructing, tourism and other services industries with Cob-Douglas production model. This paper finds the manufacturing industry has very little positive contribution to Macau economy during the industrial transformation. And the foreign labors have higher positive impact than local labors in constructing industry, while the local labors play more important roles in tourism and other services industries. The findings imply the labor migration meets the long-term benefit for Macau's benefits and development. And the Macau government needs to set up labor migration policy based on various industries' demand and to improve human resources structures to guarantee the sustainable development of Macau economy.

This study aims to develop a research model for the study of the trust factors that may influence the adoption of cloud-based interorganizational systems (CIOS). The proposed trust model consists of seven dimensions: security, usability, reliability, auditability, interoperability, accountability, and controllability. The proposed model also suggests that the scale of the company may moderate the effects of above trust factors on the trust in the adoption of CIOS. The proposed trust model aims to help the cloud computing service providers to understand the trust factors that will affect users' trust in the adoption of CIOS. So that cloud computing service providers can adjust their strategies for providing successful cloud computing services. It also provides a base for further research on the trust models for the adoption of other cloud systems.

This research aims to understand the psychological empowerment, group cohesion and leader member exchange that affect on job behavior empirically. With a sample of 403 employees from 6 companies in Macau, we use statistical analysis and find out that perceived psychological empowerment and group cohesion influence positive behavior and withdrawal behavior of employees in the workplace through the mediating effect of leader member exchange; We also confirm the moderating effect of psychological empowerment on relations between leader member exchange and withdrawal behavior, but the moderating effect of psychological empowerment does not exist between leader member exchange and positive behavior of employees.

Social networking site (SNS) has become pervasive in the life of the majority of the younger generations. Most of our students spend plenty of their time in interacting with their peers in their favorite SNSs. Many of them have already created their habit of visiting Facebook (currently, the most popular SNS) on a regular basis, some even with their Facebook connection always on. Taking the advantage of such SNS popularity, this study aims at investigating how learning activities can be taken place in SNSs in general, with Facebook in particular. Among all influential factors, this study focuses on investigating how habit and perceived boundary impact on the Facebook-based learning effectiveness. Research framework and research design are built for the subsequent empirical study.

Based on the analysis of income risk of oversea hydropower investment, the paper proposes the idea that hydropower enterprises can develop income insurance by distinguishing the features of income risk and other risks, and try to transfer the investment income risk in the context of insurance. On the basis of analyzing the strategies of the demand and supply, we deduce the critical conditions that the hydropower enterprises would like to purchase and the insurance corporations want to offer simultaneously. Thus, a theoretical foundation can be laid for the design and pricing of income insurance.
