Optical phonon scattering mobility has been calculated using numerical methods, and a general program was developed in Matlab to calculate mobility due to scattering on optical phonons. Calculations were done for InAs material that was irradiated by fast neutrons.

We develop a new and further generalized form of the fractional kinetic equation involving generalized -Bessel function. The manifold generality of the generalized -Bessel function is discussed in terms of the solution of the fractional kinetic equation in the present paper. The results obtained here are quite general in nature and capable of yielding a very large number of known and (presumably) new results.

Motivated by q-analogue theory, we define here q-analogue of p-valent Salagean differential operator. Then we introduce a new subclass of starlike and convex functions with negative coefficients, for which we obtain some properties such as coefficient estimates, distortion theorem, radii of starlikeness, convexity and close-to-convexity for functions belonging to these subclasses. Also, we introduce the modified-Hadamard product theorems. Finally, we give an application of the q-fractional calculus.

The Kalman–Bucy continuous model of partially observable stochastic processes is considered. The problem of optimal stopping of a stochastic process with incomplete data is reduced to the problem of optimal stopping with complete data. The convergence of payoffs is proved when , where and are small perturbation parameters of the non observable and observable processes respectively.

We prove in this paper a new integral relationship between the American put option early exercise boundary and its value function in the generalized Black–Scholes model. Based on this relationship we show that it is possible to construct the -approximation to the unknown early exercise boundary provided that we have at hand any uniform approximation of the American put option value function.

In 1999, Dontchev studied the concept of pre--open sets (Dontchev, 1999). In 2002, Hatir and Noiri studied the concept of semi--open sets (Hatir and Noiri, 2002). In 2013, Ekici studied the concept of -sets (Ekici, 2013). In this paper, the concept of --open sets is introduced. The concept of --open sets is related to topology, pre--open sets, semi--open sets and -sets. Main properties of --open sets are presented.

In this paper, we introduce dominating dualistic contractive mappings and dominating weakly dualistic contractive mappings. We use these contractive mappings to establish two new fixed point theorems in an ordered dualistic partial metric space. These results generalize various comparable results existing in the current literature. We give examples to illustrate and to show usefulness of our results among corresponding fixed point theorems established in a partial metric space and a metric space.
