This article focuses on how different theological perspectives may influence AI acceptance in diverse faith communities. It highlights differences between Western and Eastern Christian traditions, suggesting that the historical emphasis on intellect in Western Christianity might make it more open to AI, though challenges in church integration are acknowledged. Global examples of AI assimilation in religious practices, from a robotic Buddhist preacher to a blessing-delivering robot in a German church, are discussed. The article argues that theological doctrines shape AI perspectives, influencing ethics and raising profound questions about human identity. The ongoing debate questions whether AI threatens theology or fosters enriching dialogue. The article suggests, through historical parallels and the dynamic interplay of theological doctrines and technology, that the relationship between AI and theology could evolve into constructive engagement rather than inherent conflict.

This case study examines the situation of the regional unit Pieria (Greece) as a compelling instance of a regional unit with low vaccination coverage and a right-wing political orientation, depth, and historicity. Apart from the utilization of relevant literature, qualitative research was also conducted for the needs of this case study. A sample of 16 Greek citizens from Pieria, all of whom are voters of one of the three minor Greek right-wing parliamentary parties and have been vaccine hesitant and vocal on social media, is examined as an attempt to enhance our understanding on the role of social media and right-wing attitude regarding vaccine hesitancy within the context of this specific case.

Agriculture has a significant impact on a global scale, shaping economies, societies, affecting the environment, and is the primary source of food, income, and livelihood for a large portion of the world's population. Agriculture also contributes to global trade providing food and raw materials for industries worldwide. Moreover, it affects the population in rural areas not only by providing employment but also promoting cultural heritage and enhancing social interactions. Agritourism or tourism in rural areas has been promoted, and is until today, as a means of boosting rural economies, encouraging the diversification of economic activity, promoting local products and SMEs, ultimately improving the quality of life in rural areas, and avoiding depopulation. Today, digital transformation in agriculture and rural areas is a global policy priority. In this paper, applications of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in tourism in rural areas and current tends are explored.

In the last few months there has been widespread discussion about the remarkable progress made in the field of artificial intelligence, specifically large language models such as "ChatGPT". The ethical implications of AI, particularly concerning data protection, have sparked discussions on the necessity of robust regulations. This article examines the intersection of data protection, ChatGPT, and the ethics of AI, it explores Germany's ongoing efforts to strike a balance between harnessing the potential of large language models as ChatGPT and ensuring responsible and transparent use of AI technology in the policy-making realm. The GDPR serves as a guiding framework, necessitating careful consideration of privacy rights and secure handling of personal data when deploying ChatGPT in Germany's policy-making processes. The study draws on analysis on the current laws and regulations of data protection in Germany while studying Germany's commitment to safeguarding personal information through the active presence of The German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. The first section provides a context and presents the policy problem. The second section looks at the available policy options on the role of policymaking in establishing comprehensive regulations regarding the use of ChatGPT and generative AI. The third section provides recommendations on how Germany can ensure the responsible management of ChatGPT, through strengthening data protection laws and regulations, simultaneously, restricting ChatGPT usage to private users and government, also, embracing appropriate usage of generative AI while developing ethical guidelines and best practices to harness its benefits, fostering innovation and advancement.

In the European Union, the external borders were not always conceived as European ones. However, after experiencing a range of threats, the European policymakers identified external borders' importance to European security. Not forgetting that borders are connected with national authority, the EU through Frontex has made progressive steps towards a coordinated or even common border management. The main tools to achieve that are the shared European IT systems. Their enhanced capabilities, mostly based on Artificial Intelligence, will further establish the European Smart Borders. There is a complex "network” of IT border systems already operating or prospect automated ones that are necessary to be resilient and align with core fundamental rights.

The present article addresses key elements of the unique ontology of AI and argues that these require the expansion of the public sphere, in order to successfully manage the entry of new intelligent actors in legally regulated relationships which are based on the identification of causal connections. In this sense it attempts to link law and political science, given that the governance of any phenomenon or field includes law and in particular the detection, of legally interesting, causal relationships. Regulating such relationships effectively offers legal certainty, which in turn is a fundamental element of effective governance. In our self- evidently, human- centered world, whether we are talking about natural persons, or for legal persons, it is self- evident that there is, in the end, a human hand behind the causal relations with which law is involved. Once other, non- human, intelligent actors gradually enter the forefront, these causal relations become further complicated. It is on these complications and their impact that we focus.

According to political realism, countries are in a constant state of competition with each other. This competition ranges from markets to weapons causing the ones that wish to change the balance of power to opt for innovation in all fields. Although the concept of innovation is not new, current conditions demand that this innovation is connected to technology. The incorporation of new technologies gives states the chance to rise to the top of the power competition, while middle powers have the ability to tackle their state and non-state enemies using them. This paper focuses on what these new technologies are and what Russia, China and Israel are doing with them, providing insight regarding the way these technologies can be used to serve national interest in a security dilemma environment.
