Efficient Dynamic Policy Monitoring in Service Oriented Architectures 面向服务体系结构中的高效动态策略监控

We focus on dynamic monitoring of security and privacy policies in service oriented architectures (SOAs) based systems. In a service oriented system both the internal and the external services may easily interact with each other, which makes the establishment and the enforcement of the privacy policies and the rules across the systems increasingly challenging. We introduce efficient and flexible methods for auditing such systems by leveraging the middleware platform capabilities. The auditing methods allow for two different types of audits, the static audits and the dynamic audits. The static audits find out whether a process pattern that is defined by the audit has been executed in the system. The dynamic audits, however, find out on-the-fly whether any of the system policies are being violated as the service process flows are still in execution in the system. We also present the effectiveness of the dynamic monitoring that we have developed to support demanding requirements of the dynamic audits.

Preface of VON'08 冯'08序言

Welcome to the First IEEE International Workshop on Vehicular Networking (VON-08) in Jiaosi, Yilan, Taiwan. The workshop will be held in conjunction with the 2008 IEEE Asia-Pacific Services Computing Conference (IEEE APSCC 2008). The goal of this workshop is to present and discuss recent advances in the development of wireless vehicular networking technologies. Based on shortto medium-range communication systems (vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-roadside), vehicular networks will enable vehicular safety applications including collision and other safety warnings as well as non-safety applications like real-time traffic congestion and routing information, high-speed tolling, mobile infotainment, and many others. The creation of high-performance, highly reliable, highly scalable, and secure vehicular networks technologies, though, presents an extraordinary challenge to the wireless research community: a high degree of communication reliability is needed under unfavorable channel conditions. Clearly, the specificity of vehicular networks in terms of mobility behavior and applications scenarios and requirements makes vehicular networks research an exciting and demanding applicationand purpose-driven sub-discipline of wireless networking. In its first year the workshop attracted 14 submissions from 8 different countries. Each paper went through a rigorous peer review process, with each submission receiving at least 3 reviews from members of the Technical Program Committee. In order to allocate as many papers as possible and keep the high quality of the workshop, we finally decided to accept 9 papers for oral presentations. We believe that the accepted papers provide interesting results and insights on the routing, application, and security issues of vehicular networks. We would like to thank all the people who worked hard to make this workshop a success. First and foremost we would like to express our gratitude to all the members of the Technical Program Committee for their diligent effort in providing high quality reviews before the deadline. We would also like to thank the APSCC 2008 Organizing Committee for their help and support. The edge networks that are contained within individual organizations and households can be found at various locations across the Internet. Within the current Internet which is much larger and deeper, edge networks with no protection or with limited protection are invaded time and time again by malicious user. A method to protecting an edge network against intruders is referred to as perimeter security. The firewall technology is a successful adaptation of this method in the era of computer networks. This paper presents firewall technologies and basic structures.

Personalized Modeling for SaaS Based on Extended WSCL 基于扩展wsdl的SaaS个性化建模

Software as a service (SaaS) is an emerging software framework in which business data and logic typically integrate with other applications. It requires a unified subscriber to describe SaaS to make for easy integration, however, SaaS provides services to different tenants by running only one instance. In order to satisfy personalized needs from different tenants, the business logic becomes correspondingly complex. As this logic is cumbersome to reveal to every individual tenant, we propose the use of Web Services Conversation Language (WSCL) to express the views of tenant and provider separately. To overcome deficiencies in WCSL for expressing heterogeneous data, process rules, and business rules, we extend the syntax of WSCL. We also put forward a new modeling method for constructing SaaS Service, describing the modeling process and the algorithm for obtaining the tenant model from the business model. In conclusion, we describe the modeling tools and validation methods.

An Approach to Match Semantic Web Services Based on Multidimension 基于多维度的语义Web服务匹配方法

Due to the availability of huge number of Web Sevices(WSs), calculating similarity between services is still a challenge. Usually, the similarity is measured in different dimensions, i.e. input/output parameters, QoS, correlations between preconditions and effects, etc. In this paper, we present an approach to measuring the degree of similarity between semantic web services considering multiple dimensions as a whole. It can integrate the results obtained from different matching algorithms in a generic and customizable manner. So that, the user may determine the relative importance of each dimension and obtain a single rank for candidates services matching a given service.
