Down-hill Simplex Method based Differential Evolution 基于微分进化的下山单纯形法

Differential Evolution (DE) is based on both an evolutionary strategy and a parallel direct search method employing a population. DE is an effective optimization method available for solving global optimization problem over continuous space. DE has a few control parameters that have to be set by users. This paper describes a new DE using Down-hill Simplex Method. Then we consider average distance of a new DE and we examine DE to choice a proposal method or the other proposal method according to the average distance. The feasibility and advantage of the proposed DE are demonstrated through some numerical simulations using four different typical global optimization test problems.
差分进化(DE)是基于一种进化策略和一种采用种群的并行直接搜索方法。DE是求解连续空间上全局优化问题的一种有效的优化方法。DE有一些必须由用户设置的控制参数。本文提出了一种新的基于下山单纯形法的DE。然后考虑新DE的平均距离,并根据平均距离对DE进行检验,选择一种建议方法或另一种建议方法。通过4个典型全局优化测试问题的数值模拟,验证了该方法的可行性和优越性。

Improvements in accurate GPS positioning using time series analysis 利用时间序列分析改进GPS精确定位

Although the Global Positioning System (GPS) is used widely in car navigation systems, cell phones, surveying, and other areas, several issues still exist. We focus on the continuous data received in public use of GPS, and propose a new positioning algorithm that uses time series analysis. By fitting an autoregressive model to the time series model of the pseudorange, we propose an appropriate state-space model. We apply the Kaiman filter to the state-space model and use the pseudorange estimated by the filter in our positioning calculations. The results of our positioning experiment show that the accuracy of our proposed method is much better than that of the standard method. In addition, as we can obtain valid values estimated by time series analysis using the state-space model, the proposed state-space model can be applied in several other fields.

Pipe wall thickness inspection with current driven thermal method 电流驱动热法检测管壁厚

Electric potential difference(EPD) method is widely used for diagnosing and monitoring flow conduits. Theoretical analysis and the exact solution of the electrical potential field in pipe wall have been proposed, and 2D approximation is effective for small pipe wall thickness. This study proposes to use temperature distribution driven by Joule heat with the electric current other than electrical potential difference. Under thin wall approximation, 2D electric and thermal problems are analysed and exact solutions are given.

Human motion recognition using directional motion history images 利用定向运动历史图像进行人体运动识别

Nowadays many persons are needed to observe images from surveillance cameras, because many surveillance cameras are installed in a town or in buildings. They are working under stress, because they must always watch the images from surveillance cameras to find a person with abnormal motion. Therefore reduction of the load is necessary. Many existing researches on human motion recognition are only recognition and the information of the result is not used. We assume that human motion is a set of basic motions. So, we think we are able to translate an overall motion using the recognition result of basic motions. The goal of the present research is to develop a method of human motion representation and translation using directional motion history images (DMHIs). In this paper, we describe a method of recognizing basic motions using the DMHIs. We perform the recognition by matching of a graph. When the matching of the graph is performed, the intervals of chosen image frames are changed and the most suitable interval is inspected.

Estimation of continuous-time nonlinear systems by using the Unscented Kalman Filter 用无气味卡尔曼滤波估计连续时间非线性系统

This paper proposes a continuous-time model estimation method by using the Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) from the sampled I/O data, in which the plant parameters as well as the initial state are estimated. The initial state is estimated based on a backward system of the plant, and the parameters are estimated by using the iterated UKF, which repeats the estimation of the forward system and the backward system alternately. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, the rotary pendulum is provided to estimate the parameters of the continuous-time nonlinear system.

Design of a data-driven internal model controller 数据驱动内模控制器的设计

In recent years competition in the industrial world has become intense. As a result, the necessity for highly effective control techniques has increased. Furthermore, simple control structure and high robustness are also desirable. To meet these demands, model-driven type control theories type have been proposed. If these controllers are able to describe the model of the process accurately, then perfect control is theoretically possible. In this paper, internal model control (IMC) is the core proposal option though there are some controllers of the model driven type. However, it is difficult to obtain good control performances, since most process systems are nonlinear. This paper thus proposes a new IMC based on the data-driven(DD) approach as a control system that can also be adjusted to a nonlinear system. In taking the DD approach, a suitable model can be automatically generated. As a result, a preferable control performance can be obtained even for nonlinear systems. The behavior of the newly proposed control scheme is examined on a simulation example.
