. In this paper, we propose a fractional order SEIHR pandemic model of Covid-19 that describes the spreadability of Corona virus within a population. We prove the global existence, positivity, and boundedness of solutions. In addition, the local and the global stability of the disease-free equilibrium and the disease equilibrium are studied by using Routh-Hurwitz criteria and construction an appropriate Lyapunov functions. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to verify the theoretical results

. In this paper, we present a mathematical model illustrating the dynamics of the COVID-19 disease with vaccination and quarantine strategies. The presented model contains five equations that describe the interaction between individuals who are susceptible, exposed, infected, vaccinated, and recovered. We start the study by verifying the positivity and boundedness of solutions. The existence and the stability of both disease-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium are proved. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to demonstrate the behavior of the infection over time and to say the influence of quarantine and vaccination on both the COVID-19 dynamics and the basic reproduction number mathcalR 0 for controlling the disease’s spread.

Mathematical modelling that characterizes the qualitative behavior of the interactions of aphids and ladybugs as insectivorous animals 描述蚜虫和瓢虫作为食虫动物相互作用的定性行为的数学模型

The significance of the agricultural industry is primarily driven by the growth of the human population and the imperative for sustainable food production. Within this sector, the presence of insect pests, such as aphids, demands particular attention, as they exert a detrimental influence on agricultural practices. To devise effective approaches, it is essential to possess a thorough comprehension of aphid control. Thus, this study presents a mathematical model that captures the qualitative dynamics of interactions between aphids and ladybugs. The model is composed of a system of non-linear differential equations, encompassing the interplay between the two species, the impact of insecticides on aphids, and the hibernation stages of ladybugs. The analytical approach is employed to ascertain the criteria for the existence and stability of the equilibrium derived from the constructed model. The study focused on stability and sensitivity analysis to understand the behavior of the model and develop effective strategies for managing aphid populations. Both the findings from the analytical and numerical investigations offer valuable insight that augmenting insectivorous populations, such as the ladybug populations, may serve as an alternative method for aphid control, reducing the reliance on insecticides. Nevertheless, the application of insecticides continues to be a viable approach for aphid control. Further investigation into controlling the aphid population involves an in-depth study of optimal control problems. The study examined different scenarios involving the utilization of insecticides. Our numerical experiments show a potential of insecticide to control the population of aphids effectively. The change in the population of aphids do not give a big disturbance in ladybug population as long as there is an alternative resource for ladybugs. From the cost analysis, we find that a larger intervention needed when the initial population of aphids relatively small. Therefore, insecticide interventions need to consider various factors, not only the biological behavior of ladybugs and aphids but also the initial population of ladybugs and aphids.

Contribution of hunting cooperation and antipredator behavior to the dynamics of the harvested prey-predator system 狩猎合作和反捕食者行为对收获猎物-捕食者系统动力学的贡献

Fear, harvesting, hunting cooperation, and antipredator behavior are all important subjects in ecology. As a result, a modified Leslie-Gower prey-predator model containing these biological aspects is mathematically constructed, when the predation processes are described using the Beddington-DeAngelis type of functional response. The solution's positivity and boundedness are studied. The qualitative characteristics of the model are explored, including stability, persistence, and bifurcation analysis. To verify the gained theoretical findings and comprehend the consequences of modifying the system's parameters on their dynamical behavior, a detailed numerical investigation is carried out using MATLAB and Mathematica. It is discovered that the presence of these components enriches the system's dynamic behavior, resulting in bi-stable behavior.

. As it spans the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic Ocean on the north and west respectively, Morocco is characterized by its marine sources’ diversity. Fishing Activity is considered to be the backbone of the country’s economy. the process of structuring the exploited population, and the marine environment are two major fields that the kingdom must understand to implement management measures to sustain the equilibrium of national fisheries and marine sources. Here, we have built a discrete-time model to describe the dynamic of fishing of two small pelagic species on the Atlantic Coast. The equilibrium between marine population and fishing effort, and maximizing profit are what the control parameter proposed have to achieve. We use a discrete version of Pontryagin’s principal maximum to calculate the optimal system. The numerical simulation is carried out using Matlab.

In this paper we analyze COVID-19 spread in Indonesia using an epidemio logical model. We consider symptomatic and asymptomatic infections in the model. We analyze the equilibria of the model and their stability which depend on the basic reproduction ratio for symptomatic and asymptomatic infections. Furthermore, we use optimal control in prevention and treatment in decreasing the number of positive COVID-19 patients in Indonesia. Furthermore, we analyze the existence of optimal control using the Pontryagin minimum principle. We also give numerical simulation of COVID-19 spread with and without the control. According to the simulation, COVID-19 spread could be reduced by using prevention and treatment control simultaneously. © 2023 JONNER NAINGGOLAN et al.

. In this article, we propose a new continuous mathematical approach to model and analyze the dynamics of the population of heavy drinkers and their health complications. The model has several compartments, including a new one that represents the number of heavy drinkers with different complications associated with excessive alcohol consumption. We study the stability of the model using mathematical theories such as the Routh-Hurwitz criteria for local stability, in order to study the equilibrium without and with excessive alcohol consumption, and the construction of Lyapunov functions makes it possible to study global stability. A sensitivity analysis is performed to determine which parameters have the most significant impact on the number of reproductions R0. The results were validated using numerical simulations carried out under MATLAB. This model may be useful in guiding public health policies aimed at reducing the number of drinkers and the complications associated with alcohol consumption.
