Fig. 1. Prof. Wojciech Pachelski Professor Wojciech Pachelski was born in April 1939 in Warsaw. He graduated the Warsaw Geodesic Secondary School and then the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography of the Warsaw University of Technology in 1961. He worked as an assistant at the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography in 1961–1962, then (1962–1972) as an assistant professor at the Computing Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. He defended his doctoral dissertation Some Solutions for Processing Observational and Orbital Numerical Data of Artificial Earth Satellites (Figure 2) at the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography of the Warsaw University of Technology in 1966. Professor Tadeusz Trajdos, an outstanding Polish mathematician, a longtime employee of our University, was his thesis supervisor. Wojciech Pachelski, Ph.D. was employed at the Institute of Mathematical Machines in Warsaw (as an assistant professor – Head of Department) in 1972–1977. His work subjects included: applications of digital machines to the processing of satellite surveying and space experiments data; development of the sequential alignment method and its application to the experimental satellite triangulation network. In the following years (1977–2008) he worked as an assistant professor and professor (from 1994) at the Space Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences, where he continued research in the above fields. During this period, Professor Wojciech Pachelski’s textbooks for learning programming in Fortran – known all over Poland – were published. From these books, older MUT employees (including the author of this biography) learned Fortran IV programming for ODRA 1300 machines and Fortran 77.

High-resolution soil erodibility K-factor estimation using machine learning generated soil dataset and soil pH levels 使用机器学习生成土壤数据集和土壤pH值的高分辨率土壤可蚀性k因子估计

: Soil Erodibility Factor (K-factor) is a crucial component of a widely used equation for soil erosion assessment known as the USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) or its revised version – RUSLE. It reflects the potential of the soil of being detached due to rain-falls or runoffs. So far, an extensive number of researches provide different approaches and techniques in the evaluation of K-factor. This study applies soil erodibility estimation in the soils of the South Caucasian region using soil data prepared by the International Soil Reference and Information Centre (ISRIC) with 250 m resolution, whereas the recent K-factor estimation implemented in the EU scale was with 500 m resolution. Soil erodibility was assessed using an equation involving soil pH levels. The study utilises Trapesoidal equation of soil data processing and preparation, as suggested by ISRIC, for various layers of surface soil data with up to 0-30 cm depth. Both usage of SoilGrids data and its processing as well as estimation of K-factor applying soil pH levels have demonstrated sufficient capacity and accuracy in soil erodibility assessment. The final output result has revealed the K-factor values varying from 0.037 and more than 0.060 t ha h/MJ mm within the study area.

A model for assessing the regional land-use territorial development 区域土地利用国土发展评价模型

: It is proved that the regional land-use territorial development is influenced by many factors, so the study of the assessment of territorial development is an urgent task. As a result of generalization of theoretical and methodological provisions, the definition of regional land-use territorial development is given, which is characterized as a system category that defines permanent transformational changes and considers spatial, urban, environmental and investment factors and improves land-use efficiency. It is established that the existing methodological approaches to the assessment of territorial development of land-use do not have a comprehensive approach and consider only certain factors. For a comprehensive and comprehensive assessment of the level of territorial development of land-use, a model is proposed, which is based on the definition of an integrated indicator. The formation of the model includes the following main stages: geofactor analysis, formation of a multilevel system of indicators, assessment and establishment of the level of impact of the indicator, determination of integrated indicators for each factor, formation of a general integrated indicator of land-use, interpretation of results. The technological feasibility of the model is determined by the formation of a set of spatial, urban, investment and environmental factors, the construction of a multilevel diagnostic system of indicators, their evaluation based on modern methods and the development of mathematical models. To obtain actual spatial and cadastral data to assess the territorial development of land-use, it is advisable to use forms of administrative cadastral reporting and space images.

Conformal and empirical transformation between the PL-ETRF89 and PL-ETRF2000 reference frames using the new adjustment of the former Polish I class triangulation network PL-ETRF89和PL-ETRF2000参照系之间的保角和经验转换,采用原波兰I类三角网的新平差

: The European reference frame ETRF2000 was introduced on the territory of Poland on 1 July 2013, named PL-ETRF2000, as a result of the appropriate measurement campaign 2008-2011. The new PL-ETRF2000 reference frame has replaced the previously used PL-ETRF89 frame, which had more than 10 years of history in Poland until 2013, implemented in almost all geodetic and cartographic “products”, in geodetic networks, economic map systems and databases. The relationship of the new reference frame with the previously used PL-ETRF89 frame has become an important practical issue. Currently, all position services of the ASG-EUPOS (Active Geodetic Network – EUPOS) system use only the PL-ETRF2000 reference frame, which also results from the relevant legal and technical regulations. The relationships between the frames was considered in two aspects: “theoretical”, expressed by conformal (Helmert, 7-parameter) transformation, and “empirical”, based on an interpolation grid that allows to take into account local distortions of the PL-ETRF89 frame. The estimation of the parameters of the conformal transformation model was based on 330 points of the POLREF network, while to create an interpolation grid approximately 6500 points of the old triangulation network were additionally used, after new adjustment in PL-ETRF200 reference frame. City lands investment attractiveness calculation 城市土地投资吸引力测算

Improving the technology for determining the investment attractiveness of urban land requires the development and implementation of an integrated assessment method. In this context, the formation of a system of indicators used for the integral assessment is very important. Based on the two-level system of factors proposed in the article, which influence the formation of investment attractiveness of urban land and using a hierarchical classification method, an appropriate system of indicators is constructed. The transition from factors to indicators is ensured by the established causal dependence, which characterizes the causal relationships between factors and functional-planning, territorial indicators, indicators of engineering and territory improvement, indicators of ecology, historical and cultural significance. In article it is proposed to consider the information support as a set of functional-planning, territorial, engineering support and improvement of the territory, environment, ecology, historical and cultural indicators, which are formed on the basis of normative legal acts, systematization of theoretical and methodological provisions, considering technological features and factors, which affect the investment attractiveness of land. Considering the existing directions for the implementation of technology for assessing the investment attractiveness of urban land, the economic, spatial, complex, multifactorial, rating approaches and approach based on the tools and results of mathematical modelling, considering technical, environmental, social and economic factors, which influence the investment attractiveness of urban land have been proposed.

Track planarity and verticality of the warehouse racks for the quality assessment of further operation 跟踪仓库货架的平面度和垂直度,便于进一步作业质量评估

The content of this paper is dedicated to the analysis of the flat planarity of forklift stacker’s track and cross sections of lanes between racks in a warehouse. These results will serve as a basis for a possible reconstruction of the track and racks and shall contribute to the overall reduction of costs related to an unexpected bad technical condition. The contribution aims to assess the geometric parameters of warehouse racks at the selected company operation in terms of their suitability for further use. The choice of the selected topic represents a relevant issue, which can be possibly encountered in daily practice related to the storage and transport processes of products. The measurements and processing of longitudinal profiles and cross-sections were made in the local coordinate and local vertical system. Points on the lower, middle and upper level of racks were measured for good and correct interpretation of results. Testing the measured positional change of poles is on the end of this paper. The immediate readiness of interest groups of subjects for adopting necessary actions to ensure the stability and safe operation of the whole network of lanes of the warehouse spaces is the expected contribution of the presented results.

Monitoring the actual ecological end economic situation of agricultural land use in Ukraine 监测乌克兰农业用地实际生态末端经济状况

The need for effective and rational use of land, protection, and preservation of its qualitative state (as the agricultural land soil) is due to some negative details, namely, more than a third of the land is eroded, half of which are black soil in particular, which have an average level of nutrient supply, a lot of contaminated abandoned or overdented land. The acuteness of this problem, which has developed with regard to the protection and preservation of the land qualitative state, has become particularly relevant. The solution to this problem requires truly effective methods of influence. One of such methods is the surveillance of ecological and economic monitoring of land. The article analyzes the ecological and economic factors and factors influencing the monitoring and surveillance of land in Ukraine. Perspectives and objectives for improvements in land monitoring are highlighted. The paper discloses a theoretical synthesis and new approaches to solving the problem of environmental management, which can participate in the development of innovative economic and environmental factors of rational land use, which will contribute to enhancing the transition of Ukraine to the model of sustainable land use. The purpose of this work is a scientific analysis of the various organizational factors of monitoring and surveillance of agricultural land in relation to the current legislation in Ukraine.

: The transformation processes that occur in the technical, informational, and economic spheres of the regions require the development of new conceptual approaches to the development of a full-fledged land use system based on an analysis of the problems of using underground real estate. Determination of the features of land use of underground real estate is based on a quantitative basis, which is built on a systematic, integrated approach. Indicators that determine the condition and use of underground real estate are of particular importance for the development of the approach. A method of estimating a generalized indicator of the use of underground real estate in the system of land use of regions based on an integrated approach, which includes the method of expert assessments by applying qualitative indicators characterizing the status and level of use of underground real estate, considering urban, spatial, investment and innovation legal and safety features is developed. The assessment results of the integrated indicator of underground real estate land use, as well as the results of the assessment by region, showed a low level of use of underground real estate in the land use system of the regions. It is determined that most of the lands in the regions have low levels of underground real estate use. Besides, there is a need to increase the use of underground real estate by developing appropriate methodological recommendations.

Structural damage detection of elevated circular water tank and its supporting system using geodetic techniques 基于大地测量技术的高架圆形水箱及其支撑系统结构损伤检测

: Water is the main source of daily life for everyone and everywhere in the world. Sufficient water distribution depends on the place and design of water tank in certain areas. Water storage tanks are relatively flexible structures and they can tolerate greater settlements than other engineering structures. Deformation of tanks may cause severe damages to tank or even loss of life and injury to people, so monitoring the structural deformation and dynamic response of water tank and its supporting system to the large variety of external loadings has a great importance for maintaining tank safety and economical design of man-made structures. This paper presents an accurate geodetic observations technique to investigate the inclination of an elevated circular water tank and the deformation of its supporting structural system (supporting columns and circular horizontal beams) using reflector-less total station. The studied water tank was designed to deliver water to around 55000 person and has a storage capacity about 750 m 3 . Due to the studied water tank age, a non-uniform settlement of tank foundation and movement of pumps and electric machines under tank’s body will cause stress and strain for tanks membrane and settlement of sediments. So the studied water tank can tend to experience movement vertically, horizontally or both. Three epochs of observations were done (July 2014, September 2014 and December 2014). The results of the practical measurements, calculations and analysis of the interesting deformation of the studied elevated tanks and its supporting system using least squares theory and computer programs are presented. As a results of monitoring the water storage tank, circular reinforced concrete beams and columns at three monitoring epochs. The body of water storage tank has an inclination to the east direction and the value of inclination is increased with the time.
