This paper presents the development of a green concrete mortarless interlocking hollow block. As part of efforts to promote sustainability, achieve increased durability and affordability, fly ash as a geopolymer binder and palm oil fuel ash are used as partial replacement for ordinary Portland cement (OPC) while waste glass and recycled concrete aggregate are used as replacement for fine aggregate. The research adopts three mix designs (MD) using various proportions of materials and an unconventional mix ratio of 1 : 1.35 : 3.5. MD 3 has the highest compressive strength and thus is adopted for FEM static analysis where the Von Mises stress is 41.12 MPa which is 1% lower compared to the experimental result (41.65 MPa). In comparison with other interlocking and conventional masonry blocks, the newly developed green concrete block with higher compressive strength indicates enhanced durability while promoting sustainability and is therefore considered suitable for construction purposes.

This study is focused on the analysis of the injuries sustained by vehicle occupants during side crashes based on the data obtained in the Czech Republic since 2011. In the study the analysis of recorded injuries was carried out depending on the position of the passengers in vehicles. Only those vehicles that were crashed from the side (and the impact was directed to the passenger compartment) and where at least one of the passengers was injured were selected. The most common AIS ≥ 2 level injuries of these vehicles' passengers were head and chest injuries. Despite the average age of the documented vehicles (over 11 years), there appears to be no considerable difference in injury distribution in this study compared to those presented in older studies even after significant difference in data collection period of the respective studies and considering progress in vehicle safety.

The non-linearity and complexity of the power network are increased with an ever-increasing inclusion of renewable energy sources to its existing grid. It necessitates more computational efforts from the system operator for its reliable and safe operation. In parallel, new ideas and emerging technologies have been evolved worldwide to improve system reliability and stability. However, the complexity of power networks has increased so much that direct implementation of any new technology on the system can be very complex and sometimes quite risky. Therefore, appropriate simulation software is needed to reduce the above restriction. In this paper, DIgSILENT power factory simulation software has been used to simulate an 80 MW wind farm, using sixteen wind turbines (5 MW each). The performance analysis of the developed wind farm has been carried out on the IEEE 30 bus standard test system. Comparative analysis of the results obtained during the validation of the network as well as optimisation of total cost and loss has been carried out.

Internet of things (IoT) employs un-abatable number of intelligent sensing and actuating devices with advanced software stacks to integrate physical and digital world. To address issues of heterogeneity, communication, connectivity, data collection mechanisms, security and scalability, each IoT application is based on some architecture describing data flow through the system. Given to continuous evolution of IoT enabling technologies, it is challenging to standardise one concrete architecture. This paper provides the synopsis of the IoT architectures, discusses the architectural reference framework of IoT-A, Industrial IoT reference architecture, WSO2 and CISCO architectural models that minimise the architectural levels of abstraction and describe an architectural model based on present IoT enabling technologies. It discusses a model to evaluate the architectural criteria addressed by the discussed architectures to arrive at an architectural reference model that has the potential to serve as a standard for collective IoT application development.

Digital marketing has changed the marketing trend; the emerging retail sector has been changed around the World. Smartphones and the internet have changed consumer behaviour. People become more user of online shopping. Through the internet not only you can do shopping online, but even you need services you can get also anywhere. Digitalisation has played a vital role and progressively it is changing the scenario of the purchasing habit of the consumer from the mall to mobile. The consumer is doing marketing by the use of mobile tablet PC smartphones, etc. The mobile app has made it easy to purchase the product without wasting time and money through mobile, marketing has become easy by the use on the internet. This paper aims to understand how digitalisation has changed the behaviour of the consumer and converted the mindset of the consumer from the mall to mobile.
