Novel Miniaturized Wearable Frequency Selective Surface Design for Stable Nearfield Band-stop Characterization 用于稳定近场带阻特性的新型小型化可穿戴频率选择表面设计

This work aims to introduce a novel aspect of Frequency Selective Surface (FSS), which is essential for designing wearable shields in the X-band spectrum. Based on the provided discussion, a flexible band-stop scheme is proposed resulting in stabilized shielding effectiveness (SE) both in the nearfield (NF) and farfield (FF). To analyze the NF filtering capability of FSS, some discrete localized electric field probes are placed at different points of the NF zone. The frequency spectrum of the NF signal is extracted for two in-band and out-band harmonics. The final design shows one stabilized transmission zero. The transmission zero attenuation does not significantly change as a function of spatial distance from the FSS. Similarly, the shield does not experience a resonant frequency shift in the NF zone.

Presented are the spread of the amplifier output power and the sum rate capacity loss of a narrowband massive MIMO antenna system in a Random-LOS channel due to cell-sector narrowing. Coupling effects between the array elements have been neglected. A large power spread of the output power of the amplifiers is observed when users are spread over narrow sectors and ZF-precoding is used. The capacity is considerably reduced for both MF- and ZF-precoding, especially for the latter.

Impact of Position Errors on Synthetic Aperture DOA Convergence Based on Swarming UAV s 位置误差对蜂群无人机合成孔径DOA收敛的影响

This paper reports on the direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation using micro-UAV swarm-based (MUSB) arrays in the presence of location errors. The MUSB array is a virtually three-dimensional (3-D) random time-varying array reconstructed from swarming UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicle). In practice, the sensor position errors cannot be omitted and will impact the DOA estimation performance. The goal of this work is to evaluate the impact of the position errors in the proposed MUSB array and study the convergence under low snapshot conditions using the iterative Multiple Signal Classification (iterative- MUSIC) algorithm. Measurements on a thirty location test platform are provided to benchmark the performance with expectations.

Research on Jamming Decision Making Based on Feedback Iterative-Brown Algorithm 基于反馈迭代brown算法的干扰决策研究

Electronic countermeasures are moving towards intelligence. Due to the constantly changing decision-making of both parties, traditional decision-making methods are no longer applicable. Introducing game theory into electronic confrontation decision-making can solve this problem and model the opponents as two-person zero-sum games. In order to improve the average return of the interferer, this paper proposes the feedback iterative-Brown algorithm to adjust the hybrid strategy. Simulation results prove that the algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively improve the average return of the interferer.

We present 606 m terrestrial link rain attenuation measurements at 84 GHz during the 2018 and 2019 monsoon seasons in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The best fitted empirical specific attenuation relation, A = aRb, will be obtained from the measurements and compared with previous rain attenuation models. This study will contribute to the understanding of signal propagation phenomena and the utilization of the W/V-bands for wide bandwidth communication.

Effects of Intermediate Frequency Bandwidth on Stepped Frequency Ground Penetrating Radar 中频带宽对步进频率探地雷达的影响

A stepped frequency ground penetrating radar (GPR) system is used for detecting objects buried under high permittivity soil. Different intermediate frequency bandwidth ( IFBW) of the mixing receiver is used and measurement results are compared. It is shown that the IFBW can affect the system's signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Experimental results show that objects of different materials can clearly be detected when the appropriate IFBW is used.

This paper identifies sources of EMI emissions of the SKA-mid Receiver Sampler for SKA frequency Bands 1 to 3 (RXS123) and describes the EMI test facilities and test process for the digitizer prototype. The RXS123 must satisfy very strict EMI radiation and susceptibility standards listed in the SPF Receiver Requirement Specification [1]. The digitizer architecture has been designed from the ground up to meet these EMI requirements. This paper presents the radiated RFI measurements of the RXS123 focusing on the clock synthesizer and ODL board from 50 MHZ to 8.7 GHz.

Efficient Underground Formation Characterization Using Transitional Markov Chain Monte Carlo Sampling 利用过渡马尔可夫链蒙特卡罗采样有效表征地下地层

The underground formation characterization, which requires the inversion of the subsurface sensing data such as well logging, is challenging because of the non-linearity of the forward model and the high dimensionality of the unknown model parameters. Though the Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods have been extensively used in geophysical inversion, the sampling time can be prohibitively long due to the low efficiency and the sequential property of the methods. The transitional Markov chain Monte Carlo (TMCMC), as an efficient sampling algorithm based-on MCMC, can improve the performance of MCMC and greatly reduce the sampling time. However, this method has not drawn much attention in the geophysical inverse problems. In this paper, we use the TMCMC to infer the underground formation from the electromagnetic well logging data. Since that the TMCMC is naturally suitable for parallel computing, the inversion process takes a much shorter time to achieve a similar result as the traditional MCMC sampling.

In this paper, a novel reconfigurable single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch/power divider (PD) employing substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) technology is presented for V-band applications. By controlling the dc-bias of PIN diodes, the proposed reconfigurable function can be achieved. 4-Port Vector Antenna for MIMO Applications 用于MIMO应用的4端口矢量天线

A wideband 4-port vector antenna previously reported for radio-goniometry applications using four ports is investigated here for MIMO applications. Thank to the polarization diversity capabilities inherent to vector antennas, the MIMO performances are very good for wideband frequency operation. The main metrics that are generally used for MIMO antennas are reported. These characteristics enable the 3D-half-space angular coverage.
