The emp radiation by aperture antennas 孔径天线的电磁辐射

The evolution of short-superwide-band electromagnetic pulses (EMP) excited by rectangular aperture antennas is investigated. The existence of the range of pulse and antenna parameters is demonstrated, at which the pulse propagates with negligible loss of energy (phenomenon of electromagnetic missile). On the basis of exact solution of the diffraction problem and the numerical treatment of results the evolution of EMP shape is ivestigated and described.

Microstrip circular antennas operating at 900 MHz and 1.8 GHz 工作频率为900 MHz和1.8 GHz的微带圆形天线

The use of microstrip printed circular antennas is an alternative approach. These antennas have low profile and can be easily connected to the back side of the handset, providing a nice-looking and compact device. In addition, they are light, compact and easy to fabricate In this paper, antennas of this kind were developed and measured, both at 900 MHz and 1.8 GHz. Essential characteristics for the implementation of these antennas were the low cost of fabrication (by using cheap substrate material), achievement of a radiation pattern with high front-to-back ratio, in order to significantly reduce the amount of electroinagnetic radiation to which the user would be exposed, and reflection coefficient and efficiency, similar to those of monopole antennas

Analysis of characteristics of a slot antenna used in georadar 地质雷达用槽天线特性分析

It is known, that a slot antenna, placed immediately on the ground surface, provides low radiation into the air and low coupling between transmitting and receiving antennas. A "front to back ratio" is much greater then that for an electric dipole. This work is devoted to the investigation of a slot antenna (Fig. 1), placed at a small height h<0.02-0.05 /spl lambda/ above the ground surface.

Rapid track density determination of ssntd by frustration of total internal reflection of laser beam 利用激光束全内反射挫败法快速测定ssntd轨迹密度

Applications of the solid state nuclear track detectors (SSNTD) face the problem of rapid estimation of track density. While visual counting or the employment of sophisticated image analysis systems ensure accurate determination of number of tracks, other techniques are devoted to the non-expensive and fast assessment of the track density. In this work we present a fast, non-destructive method for estimation of SSNTD track density. It employs laser beam, which incident on the detector/air interface so that Total Internal Reflection (TIR) occurs on the smooth surface but not on the etched tracks. The experimental results suggest that in the present version the method gives reliable results for track densities /spl ges/ l0/sup 3/tr.cm/sup -2/ (the sensitivity was determined to be about 500tr.cm/sup -2/).
