The objective of this project is to elaborate a design proposal for a progressive die to help reduce the manufacturing cycle time of a metal part in a die-cutting machine and contribute to increasing the number of parts produced. The methodology used to prepare the progressive die design proposal is concurrent engineering, also known as simultaneous engineering or total engineering; it consists of a methodology where the design of the product is integrated into all the necessary processes to manufacture it. (F, 2003); It is the guide of each one of the phases that have been set in the design, such as conceptual and functional design and retail design; all this in order to take into account the requirements, parts, functions, manufacturing and construction to materialize the ideas that are proposed in this.

In this article, the results of the numerical simulation are shown, as well as the results of the structural tests using extensometry, for a low capacity double root wind turbine blade based on the IEC 61400-2 standard. A methodology was developed to carry out the experimental plan. The results obtained by means of numerical simulation were compared with those obtained by extensometry, concluding that the blade will work safely already in operation because the values obtained from microdeformations are far from the blade failure limit

Environmental problems have shown that as the days go by, the estimated negative scenarios are closer to being achieved. Despite this, in Mexico there are few programs that are directed or implemented in response to this need, and those that do exist do not have a systemic vision that ensures sustainability for the different factors that have a correlation with the system. On this premise, the research was carried out from a descriptive theoretical study method that allowed to visualize the background of this sector in a global way and its subsequent territorial delimitation, which when encompassed from the approach of the Transdisciplinary Cyber Cyber System, the different types of the knowledge. All with the purpose of seeking the transition towards beings more aware of their environment and the impact of their actions, for which, using the Cyber-Systemic Planning-Action Process, the different tools available to solve the need under study and with this, the creation of the adaptive methodology to the context and the model for environmental awareness based on contextualization, with the aim that the student population reaches more significant knowledge in relation to their surrounding environment.

The general objective of the work was the design, development, and construction of a Test Bench for Kaplan type turbines suitable to be installed in a rural environment, through which we can check if the characteristics of the turbines are ideal to meet the generation goals of electrical power required. To carry out this purpose, a Kaplan-type turbine prototype was designed and built-in order to install it in our Test Bench and verify that this Bench is adequate to check the operation of the turbine subjected to different input conditions and for Therefore, this will help us to arrive at an ideal turbine design to take advantage of the mechanical energy of water and therefore the generation of electrical energy. This is a project that was developed with the design objectives from scratch to the physical creation of a test bench for turbines, specifically for a Kaplan type turbine where tests can be carried out in a controlled environment where new designs are put into practice. of turbines to know their operation in a scaled manner and then be able to take them to production and installation in different regions.

In this work a control strategy based on the mathematical model of an active yaw system for a 20 KW horizontal axis wind turbine is proposed. It allows to increase its efficiency in the presence of changes in the intensity and direction of the wind. The inverse optimal control strategy is implemented based on the mathematical model using the equations of state that represent the dynamics of the yaw system, whose model was obtained with the FAST program, specialized software for modeling wind turbines, which allows obtaining the mathematical model of the orientation system in a more precise way. The results are presented via simulation, where the control strategy is validated in the presence of disturbances. The contribution of this work lies in the application of the optimal control strategy and the tuning parameter search strategy of the control law.

The evolution over time of structural changes in materials is of great importance in various areas of science, its study involves determining the phase with the change in the intensity of the physical properties to be measured. In this work, the use of Phase Displacement Interferometry PSI is presented using a combination algorithm of five interferograms or five steps, the results are compared with the addition of the states studied in the dynamic event, exposed in the Digital Holographic Interferometry DHI. The deformation was simulated from a rotating system in the coordinates (x, y). The results suggest that the phase map of the changing events with time that are calculated with PSI of five steps may have a relationship with the average of each change point of the dynamic event, with a difference of 0.96 radians.

In this work, a proposal is made to transform the vw sedan vehicle into a hybrid and electric vehicle as a viable alternative, to reduce polluting emissions from combustion vehicles and the high costs that conventional fuels have managed to achieve in recent times, New structures have been implemented to improve vehicle propulsion conditions by reducing pollutants. For this reason, the option of vehicles that contain two systems to generate their operation is attractive. The option that we are going to analyze is a hybrid vehicle with a parallel arrangement, in which the electrical energy that drives it comes from batteries and alternatively from an internal combustion engine that drives a generator. Typically, an internal combustion engine can also drive the wheels directly. In the design of a hybrid car, the heat engine is the energy source that is used as last option, and an electronic system is arranged to determine which engine to use and when to use it.

This work shows the construction of an ecological cooler capable of fulfilling the functions of a conventional refrigerator, its operation is based on using Peltier cells which create cold on one side and heat on the other. It is about eliminating the use of refrigerant gases, which damage the ozone layer, in addition to oils and accessories that are harmful to the environment, electrical energy is also saved with the prototype. The construction of the prototype is based on the construction of a panel that has 2 Peltier cells, 3 fans and a radiator system, which is integrated into a cooling drawer, the system is connected to a direct current voltage source. The prototype is designed to be used as a cooling system to contain food mainly, in addition to completely eliminating the refrigerants and mechanical components that are used in conventional refrigeration, which cause contamination of the ozone layer and the environment.

The capture of solar energy through parabolic trough collectors is a technological application for the use of clean energy, this allows reducing the use of fossil fuels and reducing the generation of greenhouse gases (GHG). Therefore, this article presents a theoretical-experimental study of the heat transfer in the receiver tube of a parabolic channel collector through which the working fluid flows. The receiver tube is made of copper with a nominal diameter of 1 "and is covered by a borosilicate glass tube with an outer diameter of 2 1/2" x 2.5 m long, to reduce convective losses. The theoretical study is carried out in two-dimensional (2D) Cartesian coordinates and axi-symmetric boundary condition to model and simulate fluid dynamics and analyze the behavior of convective heat transfer between the air of the annular space and the working fluid. The simulated fluid temperatures were from 80 to 180 ° C, this range includes various industrial applications where process heat is required. The simulated direct radiation values were from 600 to 1100 W / m2. The difference between the theoretical and experimental results was less than 8%.

This work shows the mathematical modeling of the non-linear system of an Acrobot on a car, which consist in a planar rotational mechanism with two joints of revolute, with an actuator in the elbow, but without actuator in the shoulder through the classical Euler-Lagrange method. In addition, a robust control strategies is proposed to achieve the attitude stabilization of the inverted position of Acrobot on a car in a non-inertial physical framework, these include reactions forces and relative motions which can potentially alter the performance of the system. The algorithm proposed is the Adaptive Sliding Modes Control (ASMC), which alters the dynamic of a non-linear system applying a discontinuous control signal that forces the system to “slide” until reaching the desired stability point, whose the main advantage is reject modeling uncertainties and non-linear effects , which result from the accelerated framework of reference to which Acrobot on a car. Implementing a scheme by numerical simulations in the platform Simulink.
