This article discusses “Woman as Leader in the Church of Isa Almasih (Christ Jesus)” from the perspective of Feminist Theology and Renewal theology. The writer tries to find the convergence and divergence points of both perspective above, including its method and interpretation in observing the theological basis about the woman as leader. The binder of the big theme to discuss this article from both perspective is the Holy Spirit as the Giver of freedom and equality. From this perspective, the writer tries to make a new proposal about how to give theological inputs to remodel gender stereotype in the context of the Church.

Generally, Christian prayer is related to the prayer taught by Jesus Christ, namely the Lord’s prayer. Christian community practices the Lord’s prayer in their worship, either in their family or in the Church. The question is “Do Christians understand and know the deep meaning of the prayer very well?” This question is important because the prayer talks about the intimate relationship between God and the believers. In this article, the writer tries to scrutinize the spiritual expressions of the prayer and to find the essence of the prayer that describes the manifestation of the believer’s love to God.

One of the critical problems in hermeneutic praxis is the tendency of emphasizing one part in a hermeneutical circle, namely context, text, or reader. Therefore we should take into account the whole part in an interdependence balance. Instead of emphasizing one of the part in the hermeneutic circle, this paper offers pilgrimage as a paradigm in interpreting the Bible so that the whole part in a hermeneutical circle can be put in an interdependence balance. The use of pilgrimage as a paradigm in the interpretation of the Bible should be understood as Groome has been doing by taking pilgrimage as a paradigm in his Shared Christian Praxis approach.
