A New Extension of Banach-Caristi Theorem and its Application to Nonlinear Functional Equations Banach-Caristi定理的新推广及其在非线性泛函方程中的应用

In this paper, we present a new extension of Banach-Caristi type theorem for multivalued mappings. We show that our result is not a consequence of multivalued version of Banach contraction principle due to Nadler. We provide an application of our result to the solution of functional equations.

He also conjectured in the same paper that C n = 1 n . This problem was solved by Aziz and Zarger [1]. In this paper, we obtain the results which generalizes the results of Aziz and Zarger.

On Minimaxity and Limit of Risks Ratio of James-Stein Estimator Under the Balanced Loss Function 平衡损失函数下James-Stein估计风险比的极小值和极限

The problem of estimating the mean of a multivariate normal distribution by different types of shrinkage estimators is investigated. Under the balanced loss function, we establish the minimaxity of the James-Stein estimator. When the dimension of the parameters space and the sample size tend to infinity, we study the asymptotic behavior of risks ratio of James-Stein estimator to the maximum likelihood estimator. The positive-part of James-Stein estimator is also treated.

In this paper, we present new extensions of incomplete gamma, beta, Gauss hypergeometric, confluent hypergeometric function and Appell-Lauricella hypergeometric functions, by using the extended Bessel function due to Boudjelkha [?]. Some recurrence relations, transformation formulas, Mellin transform and integral representations are obtained for these generalizations. Further, an extension of the Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative operator is established.

In this study, some (fuzzy) filters of a Sheffer stroke BL-algebra and its properties are presented. To show a relationship between a filter and a fuzzy filter of Sheffer stroke BL-algebra, we prove that f is a fuzzy (ultra) filter of C if and only if fp is either empty or a (ultra) filter of C for each p ∈ [0, 1], and it is satisfied for p = f(1) and for the characteristic function of a nonempty subset of a Sheffer stroke BL-algebra.

In this paper, we show some Second main theorems for linearly nondegenerate meromorphic mappings over the field ????c1 of c-periodic meromorphic functions having their hyper-orders strictly less than one in ℂm intersecting slowly moving targets in ℙn(ℂ). As an application, we give some Picard type theorems for meromorphic mappings of ℂm into ℙn(ℂ) under the growth condition hyper-order less than one.
