The issue of the need to strengthen control over the adoption of measures to ensure fire safety during the fire-hazardous period in the territory of the Tula region is considered. Up-to-date statistical information on fires for 2023 is presented, which makes it possible to identify the main problematic issues in the region. Measures are proposed, compliance with which will improve the effectiveness of the fire safety system in the territory of the subject.

Using a VPN provides reliable data protection, masking the user's geolocation, access to regional content and secure data transfer; systems for detecting and preventing network hacking threats, among which the main focus is on the Kali Linux software package, as well as features of the Windows subsystem for Linux and Windows network monitoring tools; Windows network monitoring tools, including utilities that work in console command-line mode and allow you to check the availability of remote personal computers and diagnose the connection. The Kali Linux software package is a distribution package for the Linux operating system that has more than 600 preinstalled network penetration testing programs. Among the features of the package, the article discusses the search and exploitation of network vulnerabilities, checking the correct configuration of the SSL certificate and open ports, tracing the data transfer route, checking the availability of servers and searching for network problems.

The article is devoted to the existing international problems of improving the process of coordinating the humanitarian response to UN emergencies. The analysis of the need to conduct a study on the prospects for further improvement of the UN humanitarian emergency response coordination system has been carried out. It is reflected that, by their nature, humanitarian problems can arise unpredictably and have negative consequences, including for the population, material and cultural values. It is concluded that the urgent need of the world's states to receive international humanitarian assistance is the main incentive for the development of the UN humanitarian emergency response coordination system. The main factors influencing the improvement of the humanitarian response coordination system have been identified. The implementation of the principle of humanism aimed at the comprehensive realization of the life support of the affected population, in which the most important role belongs to States with preferential economic opportunities, is determined. The decisive role of using international experience in the use of national emergency response services of individual states is reflected, taking into account the specific features of the training of management bodies, forces and means, as well as in accordance with the requirements of regulatory legal regulation in the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations. The main directions of improving the system of coordination of humanitarian response to the UN emergency are proposed.

For smooth operation, as well as effective and safe maintenance and repair of fire trucks, air compressors are used in fire and rescue units of the federal fire service of the State fire service of EMERCOM of Russia. The air piston compressor allows you to create the necessary air flow pressure for the operation of the pneumatic tool. Therefore, an urgent issue is the choice of a compressor model with optimal parameters. The paper evaluates the technical parameters of compressors by the method of expert evaluation. Based on the results of the assessment, the most significant parameters affecting the reliability and efficiency of the compressor were determined, and optimal models of reciprocating compressors for staffing maintenance posts of fire and rescue units and repair and technical centers were proposed.

The article considers the problems on organization of safety of the population and fire-fighters-rescuers as a result of forest fires in the Arctic zone. It is connected with the scale and long-distance spread of forests, as well as with the conditions of harsh climate. On the example of the Republics of Karelia and Yakutia the statistics of forest fires for the period of the last six years is given. On the basis of the analysis of statistics of forest fires and causes of their occurrence the recommendations on increase of safety of the population and fire-fighters-rescuers at carrying out of actions on localization and liquidation of forest fires are formulated. They are reduced to strengthening of grouping in regions of the Arctic zone, improvement and equipping with modern technical means of protection and specialized equipment adequate to climatic conditions of the region, means of emergency evacuation of rescuers from critically dangerous zones.

The article considers one of the methods of information protection on the computer – monitoring of the operating system. Malicious software for computers are numerous, they are constantly updated and new programs with new principles of malicious work appear. Therefore, the use of antivirus and anti-spyware is often ineffective, as they work on the principle of signature search (sample search) and therefore cannot detect new varieties of malware. The solution to this problem is the use of various utilities (service programs) for monitoring (research) of the operating system installed on the computer. The article describes in detail the utilities for monitoring the operating system installed on the PC. This is a monitoring utility of the operating system: File Monitor (monitoring file operations), which allows you to monitor all file operations in real time; Registry Monitor (monitoring registry operations); TCP View (monitoring network activity)a feature of which is the binding of the listening port or open connection to the process that uses it; the auto run application control utility Auto Runs, which analyzes dozens of different autorun methods, including classic autorun methods, extensions of different types of explorer, scheduler jobs, services and drivers, print library and providers; Process Explorer utility, which allows you to change the priority of the process, stop the process and all its threads, force the process to end.

To date, safety measures for storage of hydrogen in liquefied or gaseous state, requirements to storage rooms of this substance, necessary equipment to be installed in such rooms are incompletely studied. At small hydrogen leaks there is an explosion and fire hazard consisting in formation of explosive clouds for a long period of time, in some cases the formation of local clouds of explosive hydrogen-air mixtures automatic gas analyzers cannot fix. The purpose of this work is to determine the optimal height of the gas analyzer in a relatively airtight, unventilated room in which technological equipment for the production of hydrogen-containing gas is located and its small leaks are possible. The model experiment on measuring the concentration of hydrogen-containing mixture at different heights above the leakage place was carried out. A method of determining the optimal height of the gas analyzer above the leakage site was developed. The data on changes in the concentration of hydrogen-containing mixture at different heights above the leakage site were obtained. The optimum height of the gas analyzer location at small leaks of hydrogen-containing gas and technological equipment is revealed.

At small hydrogen leaks there is an explosion and fire hazard consisting in formation of explosive clouds for a long period of time, in some cases the formation of local clouds of explosive hydrogen-air mixtures automatic gas analyzers cannot fix. The purpose of this work is to determine the optimal height of the gas analyzer in a relatively airtight, unventilated room in which technological equipment for the production of hydrogen-containing gas is located and its small leaks are possible. The model experiment on measuring the concentration of hydrogen-containing mixture at different heights above the leakage place was carried out. A method of determining the optimal height of the gas analyzer above \u0000the leakage site was developed. The data on changes in the concentration of hydrogen-containing mixture at different heights above the leakage site were obtained. The article is devoted to the consideration of issues related to the design of electric motors and the use of submersible electric machines in the marine environment on drilling rigs and platforms. The article describes the calculation of the stator winding, the size of the stator groove and the number of conductors in the groove of electric motors of submersible electric machines. The mathematical apparatus for calculating the stator winding, the size of the stator groove and the number of conductors in the groove of asynchronous electric motors is given. Some characteristic features of the calculation of asynchronous electric machines of open design when calculating the height of the groove, determining the height of the backrest, permissible values of induction in the wall at rated load are also considered. The calculated diameter of the stator package, the tooth division of the stator at this diameter, the width and cross-sectional area of the teeth are considered.
