The use of Mandarin language is an effective business strategy for marketing local products in the Chinese market. This is particularly relevant considering the presence of numerous foreign companies in Indonesia owned by Chinese investors. When targeting Chinese consumers, the use of Mandarin language becomes essential in conveying information and marketing products. Limited Mandarin language proficiency among marketing personnel can hinder the flow of information from external sources or provide information to customers. Therefore, a good understanding and proficiency in the Mandarin language become key factors in optimizing business and marketing strategies. This research employs a literature study method with the aim of understanding the role and influence of Mandarin language usage in optimizing business and marketing strategies. The population of this research includes individuals working in the business environment, particularly employees who utilize Mandarin language in their work.

This study discusses how the process of translating literary works of Mandarin song lyrics into Indonesian. In the translation process there are many things that influence, from the meaning of the word itself, to the purpose of the translation. This study aims to determine the translation method in the case study of the song "你要的爱" from Penny Tai which has been translated into Indonesian namely Yuni Shara's song entitled "Love that I Want", through André Levefere's point of view. By using qualitative research methods, the analysis of translation strategy assumptions is tried to be interpreted in depth and comprehensively. One result is that very few lyrics are translated integrally. More just take the core meaning and then change it to better consider the beauty of the musicality of the song in the target language.

This research aims to analyse students’ translation work of Chinese cultural terms. Cultural translation has difficulties with specific cultural terms whether in words or idioms. This research is using descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected from the work of students in translating Hong Lou Meng and Hua She Tian Zu. With the theories as a reference, the author analyses the error and quality of students' work. According to Newmark’s V diagram translation method, the students’ translation from Chinese language to Indonesian language mostly used word-for-word translation and Literal translation. In student translation works, there are also several mistakes found, such as the vocabulary, word order, or structure that influence the quality of translation. Chinese translate into Indonesian language as TL is too stiff and lack of natural language. From the weakness of student’s translation ability, here are suggestions to increase their translation ability: 1) More experience to use Chinese language in daily activities can help to increase the sense of language.Language cannot be separated from culture; 2) Students have to learn and experienced more about Chinese culture; 3) Students can learn and practice translation from many sources.

In order to probe the application of mind mapping in the Indonesian Chinese character teaching review lesson, the author attempts to use mind mapping to promote the development of student's writing skills in the Chinese character teaching review lesson. The research object of this article is a junior class student in the Department of Chinese Language and Culture of Universitas Sebelas Maret (first semester, newly exposed to Chinese) 180 mind maps were collected from 90 students and drawn. The analysis results of the observation method, action method, and questionnaire survey method indicate that Chinese character mind mapping is helpful in improving Indonesian students' ability to master Chinese characters and improve their quality and interest in Chinese character learning during the review lesson. When using mind mapping, teachers should try to highlight their strengths and avoid weaknesses. With the popularization of computers and the rapid development of graphic technology, the application of mind maps in Chinese character teaching as a foreign language will gradually be recognized, indicating that the development prospects of mind maps are bright.
