The oscillatory behavior of solutions of an even-order neutral differential equation with distributed deviating arguments is considered using Riccati, generalized Riccati transformations, integral averaging technique of Philos type and the theory of comparison. New sufficient conditions are established in both canonical and noncanonical cases. Two examples are given to support our results.

In this paper, we propose an iterative algorithm, which is based on the Mann iterative method for solving simultaneously common fixed point problem with a finite family of demicontractive mappings and systems of variational inequalities involving an infinite family of strongly accretive operators. Under suitable assumptions, we prove the strong convergence of this algorithm in Banach spaces. Application to systems of constrained convex minimization problem is provided to support our main results. The results of this paper improve and extend results of [M. Eslamian, C. R. Math. Acad. Sci. Paris, 355 (2017), 1168–1177], and of many others.
Acad. Sci.

In this paper, we study the following second order differential equation: −( Φ ( u (cid:48) ( t ))) (cid:48) + φ p ( u ( t )) = εf ( t , u ( t )) a.e. on Ω = [ 0, T ] under nonlinear multivalued boundary value conditions which incorporate as special cases the classicals boundary value conditions of type Dirichlet, Neumann, and Sturm-Liouville. Using monotone iterative method coupled with lower and upper solutions method, multifunction analysis, theory of monotone operators, and theory of topological degree, we show existence of solution and extremal solutions when the lower and upper solutions are well ordered or not. Since the boundary value conditions do not include the periodic one, we show that our method stay true for the periodic problem.

In this paper, we expand upon different concepts of convergence, including convergence in distribution, in the mean, and in measure, while also exploring uniform almost sure convergence of uncertain double sequences of fuzzy numbers in statistical context. Additionally, we present intriguing findings concerning these convergence concepts.

This article concerns the numerical study of the behaviour of a flexible beam of Euler-Bernoulli to which one adds to its internal composition a damping of the viscous type. This damping naturally exerts a dissipative force (or viscous damping force) on the beam and opposes any deformation, in proportion to the rate of deformation. We are therefore interested in the impact of the damper on the exponential stability of the beam. We develop here a numerical method which faithfully reproduces the theoretical results obtained by several authors. Simulations are provided to illustrate our results.
