This paper deals with the effects of an amplitude modulated (AM) excitation on the nonlinear dynamics of reactions between four molecules. The computation of the fixed points of the autonomous nonlinear chemical system has been made in detail using Cardan’s method. Routes to chaos have been investigated through bifurcations structures, Lyapunov exponent and phase portraits. The effects of the control force on chaotic motions have been strongly analyzed and the control efficiency is found in the cases g = 0 (unmodulated case), g (cid:54) = 0 with Ω = nω ; n a natural number and Ωω (cid:54) = pq ; p and q are simple positive integers. Vibrational Resonance (VR), hysteresis and coexistence of several attractors have been studied in details based on the relationship between the frequencies of the AM force. Results of analytical investigations are validated and complemented by numerical simulations

In this particular paper the connection of fuzzy implications to the basic concepts of probability theory such as copula, quasi-copula and semi-copula is being studied. This study showed that fuzzy implications produced through copula, quasi-copula or semi-copula, apart from having as a common characteristic the Lipschitz condition with constant 1, this characteristic is also the cornerstone for grouping fuzzy implications according to the original generator which is no other than a copula, quasi-copula or semi-copula.

A time-harmonic electromagnetic wave is scattered by a buried object. We assume that the scattering object has an impedance boundary surface and it is embedded in a piecewise homogeneous isotropic background chiral medium. Using a chiral reciprocity gap operator and appropriate density properties of chiral Herglotz wave functions we solve an inverse scattering problem for reconstruction of the shape of the scatterer from the knowledge of the tangential components of electric and magnetic fields, without requiring any a priori information of the physical properties. Furthermore, a characterization of the surface impedance of the scattering object is proved

In this paper, we study the generalized Gause model in which the functional and numerical responses of the predators need not be monotonic functions and the intrinsic mortality rate of the predators is a variable function. As a result, we have established sufficient conditions for the existence, uniqueness and global stability of limit cycles confined in a closed convex nonempty set, by relying on a recent Lobanova and Sadovskii theorem. Moreover, we prove sufficient conditions for the existence of Hopf bifurcation. Eventually using scilab, we illustrate the validity of the results with numerical simulations.

In the present work, we propose to investigate statistical Riemann integrability, statistical Riemann summability, statistical Lebesgue integrability and statistical Lebesgue summability by means of deferred N¨orlund and deferred Riesz mean. We discuss some fundamental theorems connecting these concepts with examples. As an application to our newly formed sequences, we introduce Korovkin-type approximation theorems with relevant example for positive linear operators by using Meyer-K¨onig and Zeller operators to exhibit the effectiveness of our findings

In this paper, two new inertial CQ-algorithms with strong convergence results are constructed to approximate the solution of the generalized split common fixed point problem: given as a task of finding a point that belongs to the intersection of an infinite family of fixed point sets of demimetric mappings such that its image under an infinite number of linear transformations belongs to the intersection of another infinite family of fixed point sets of demimetric mappings in the image space. The algorithms are established based on the CQ-projection method with inertial effect and step-size selection technique so that the implementation of the proposed algorithms does not need any prior information about the operator norms. The proposed methods improve, complement, and generalize many of the important results in the literature.

In this work, some estimates for the difference number between operator norm and spectral radius of analytic functions of linear bounded Hilbert space operators via difference numbers of powers of corresponding Hilbert space operators have been obtained. Firstly, these evaluations for the polynomial functions of the linear bounded Hilbert space operator have been established. Using previous results, this question was later investigated for the exponential, sine, and cosine functions of a given operator. Finally, starting from obtained results, this subject for the analytic functions of the linear bounded Hilbert space operator has been generalized.
