Introduction: The world's largest archipelago, Indonesia is located on the equator between the plains of Asia and Australia and between the Pacific and Indian oceans. This geographical position can increase the danger of natural disasters such as tectonic earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and so on. There are many consequences of eartquakes, on of which is that many buildings and destroyed or collapsed. School children can get involved in disaster preparedness at their schools because it is an effective, dynamic, and sustainable strategy that teaches kids to recognize the signs of disasters that happen around them from an early age. Disasters can occur anywhere, at any time, even in the middle of the school day. The aims of this study was determining the effect of the School Watching Method on earthquake disaster preparedness on Primary School Students, particularly at SDN Mojorejo 2 Sragen. Methods : The method employed was Quasy Experimental. The research design was a group pretest-posttest without control group design . there were 49 respondents and the sampiling used was total sampling. The research instrument used was a modified questionnaire from a questionnaire and a check sheet or preparedness observation from LIPI (S3) and UNESCO/ISDR. Results: The results of the dependents t test showed a p value of 0.0000, this meaning that there was a significant difference in average disaster preparedness after being given disaster education using the school watching method. Conclusions: The findings showed that there is an effect of the school watching method on earthquake disaster preparedness at SDN Mojorejo 2 Sragen.

Introduction: Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a professional development activity intended to maintain and improve nurses’ knowledge, skills, and competencies so that they are able to update and develop their skill set. One of factors which influence the continuing professional development is the individual characteristics of nurses including age, gender, length of service, and employment status. The current study aims to determine the relationship between nurses’ characteristics and the continuing professional development of executive nurses. Methods: This study employed a Quantitative Correlation with a Cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 157 nurses selected using a cluster random sampling technique. Meanwhile, the data analysis was performed utilizing the Chi-Square test. Results: The findings revealed that 65% of nurses successfully met their continuing professional development. The Chi-Square test result indicate that no relationship was found between age, gender, length of service, and employment status with the continuing professional development of executive nurses. Meanwhile, a relationship was found between education and continuing professional development of executive nurses. Conclusions: According to the nurses’ characteristics, only their education demonstrated a correlation with the continuing professional development of executive nurse.

Methods: the research used a cross-sectional design, the samples in this study were elderly people and families who lived at home with elderly people in Sungegeneng Village, Sekaran District, Lamongan Regency who met the inclusion criteria with a sample size of 39 people. Spearman rho correlation testing was carried out using SPSS. Results: The results of the Spearman test and data analysis using the SPSS 11.5 for Windows program between the role of the family and the level of depression in the elderly in Sungegeneng Village, Sekaran District, Lamongan Regency, obtained a result of ρ = 0.000 with a significance level of α = 0.01, so H0 is rejected, meaning there is a significant relationship Between the role of the family and the level of depression in the elderly. Conclusions: There is a relationship between the role of the family and the level of depression in the elderly in Sungegeneng Village, Sekaran District, Lamongan Regency.
