Planning of Heron Habitat to Support Tourism Development in Banjar Petulu Gunung Desa Petulu. Banjar Petulu Gunung is one of the natural attractions in Gianyar that involve the population of the heron as the main attraction. Banjar Petulu Gunung needs a landscape plan because of the decreasing population of heron in March – October that affects the community income from tourism. The aim of this study was to make optimal landscape planning that matches with the behavior of heron habits in Banjar Petulu Gunung. The method used for the research was observation with line transect method, interviews, and literature study. The stages of this research were the preparation, data inventory, data analysis and synthesis, and landscape planning. The data analysis was followed by the behavior and the habitats of heron with line transect method. The data analysis result produces the data synthesis for landscape planning. There are four areas that can optimize for the natural development as a habit of heron which is corridors side of the road, ex-captivity, pond, and best view area as the main. The vegetation was arranged with the dominant tree as behavior support of heron that used for foraging, stay, moving, reproduction, agonistic, and preening. Planning on the site can be arranged for balance the heron habits and tourism income in Banjar Petulu Gunung, Desa Petulu, Kabupaten Gianyar.

Identification Of Space Pattern and Function of Puri Agung Jro Kuta, North Denpasar Subistrict, BaliProvince. Puri is a collection of building units with all their completeness which is the center of royalgovernment in Bali. Puri has a different pattern of space with the pattern of space in traditional Balinese housesin general, but not all puris have the same pattern of space. One of the puris in Bali is Puri Jro Kuta. Puri JroKuta has its own uniqueness in terms of space patterns and some of its buildings. The environment aroundPuri Jro Kuta at first also followed the pattern of Balinese architectural villages in general, but as the timesdeveloped, there were some changes in the environment around puri. This research aims to identify thepatterns and functions of space, buildings and building functions, as well as patterns and functions of CatusPatha Puri Jro Kuta. The research method uses a survey method with data collection techniques ofobservation, interviews, and literature study. The identification results of this study indicate that the spatialpattern of Puri Jro Kuta is divided into nine rooms based on the Sanga Mandala principle and there are severaladditional spaces. Each room has a different function supported by the existence of buildings that also havetheir respective functions. The spatial pattern of Catus Patha Puri Jro Kuta has changed over time, while thefunction of catus patha puri has not changed. Spatial Approach in Landscape Planning for Jamburea Tourism Village in Garut Regency. Jamburea, located in the Banyuresmi District of Garut, is a potential tourist haven with its unique blend of natural beauty and rich cultural traditions. Dominated by wetland landscapes influenced by the seasonal Situ Rancakukuk lake, residents adapt by converting its periphery into rice fields during the dry season and fish ponds during the rainy season. Furthermore, the kampong region is a repository of intangible cultural assets, such as culinary speciality, Pencak silat, traditional children’s games, 'Asgar' barber shops, and bamboo handicrafts. Employing ArcGIS tools, this study used a spatial approach to analyze physical-biophysical, non-physical, and tourism aspects for optimal zoning. This paper has two objectives: firstly, to plan the landscape of the Jamburea tourism village using a spatial approach in the analytical process. The second objective is to examine the application of spatial methods in landscape planning. Results suggest 72.09% of the kampong is suitable for tourism development, 13.68% is moderately suitable, and 14.23% requires conservation. Proposed zones include natural and cultural tourism, tourism support, welcome areas and buffer zones. This study underscores the efficacy of the spatial approach in devising comprehensive plans for Jamburea's tourism potential.

This study aims to identify sound, analyze effect of soundscape on visitor’s comfort, and provide recommendation to improve the soundscape quality. The study method used is survey, with data collection technics used were observation, questionnaires, and literature study. The data analyzed by quantitative and descriptive analysis. Soundscape of this city park created by combination of natural sounds, human sounds, sounds and society, mechanical sound, and sound as indicator. The most dominant sound heard is the sound of vehicles. Measurement of SPL (Sound Preassure Level) reached 67.5 dB and it exceed the regulation for green open space. Sound assessment indicated natural sounds and sounds from worship place were considered as quite comfortable. Most of human sound and society are considered as not disturbing. Sounds that quite disturbing are people screaming, vehicles and horns. Noise control recommended in zone I and J, because it result the highest SPL and considered disturbing visitor’s activities, by adding barriers and filters with plants, pavement and water.

The Surakarta City Government has repaired the Diponegoro Street Corridor because it wants to be like the Malioboro Street Corridor, Yogyakarta City. Repaired objects such as street furniture. Street furniture is an important element in shaping the visual character of the area. This can highlight their identity. This study describes the visual characters that are clearly displayed on the street furniture in the Jalan Diponegoro Corridor, Surakarta City. The indicators used are shape, color, scale, line, rhythm, texture, and proportion and dimensions. The thing to do is to observe, document, and analyze the literature according to the problem. The results of the analysis show that the visual character is dominated by strong square shapes, strong/elegant dark colors, medium scale compared to surrounding objects, simple straight lines, irregularly repeated rhythms, and medium size and good proportions. It is hoped that the explanation above can easily recognize and elevate the identity of the Jalan Diponegoro Corridor area in Surakarta City.
