Evaluation of Thermal Comfort in Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra Streetscape, Bali. Vegetation hold an important role in a streetscape, one of which is the amelioration of the microclimate which afffect the user comfort, especially human thermal comfort on the streetscape. Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra street has several different parts when viewed from the variation of the shade trees used. This study sought to determine the best fit composition of the shade trees to increase human thermal comfort in Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra street. Six sample of streetscape will be studied in three different composition of shade trees type. On these street, air temperature and humidity will be measured to calculate the level of human thermal comfort using Thermal Humidity Index (THI). The results showed that streetscapes with three rows of shade trees had a lower THI value compared to streetscapes with only one row of shade trees, and the streetscapes planted with spreading crowns shade trees had lower THI values than streetscapes planted with rounded crowns trees. Based on this, it is recommended to plant shade trees on the median and both sides of the road with trees that have dense leaf mass and can give a unique impression if planted in mass.

The Potential of Developing Ecotourism in the Batu Jato Natural Tourism Area in the Nanga Taman District, Sekadau Regency. Batu Jato is one of the natural tourist destinations located in Pantok Village, Nanga Taman District, Sekadau Regency, West Kalimantan. Batu Jato has the potential of an area that is feasible to develop as an ecotourism area. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential of the Batu Jato tourist attraction area to be developed as an ecotourism area. This research was conducted from June 2022 to September 2022 in the Batu Jato area. The method used in this research is the Purposive Sampling method. Based on the results of the research, the Jato stone tourism area has a variety of very interesting potentials, some of which are: beautiful landscapes, biological resources of flora and fauna, religious tourism sites, and community culture. Based on the results of the IKW calculation at each research station, the camping/outbound tourism category is included in the unsuitable category, while the sitting tour is included in the suitable category. The results of the DDK calculation at each station show that the maximum number of visitors is 253 people / day. The SWOT analysis diagram shows that internal and external factors are in Quadrant I, which creates a strategy that uses strengths to take advantage of existing opportunities.zzz

Melasti Beach Tourism Attractions Landscape Planning, Ungasan Village, South Kuta District, Badung. Melasti Beach is one of the natural tourist attractions in Badung Regency which is used for tourism activities and socio-religious activities. The increasing number of tourism activities in Melasti Beach demands that landscape arrangement must takes into account the biophysical and socio-religious aspects in it. The purpose of this research is to make a planning of the Melasti Beach landscape that is harmonious between biophysical and socio-religious aspects. The method used is a survey with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and literature study. The research stages in this planning consist of preparation, inventory, analysis, synthesis and landscape planning. Analysis and synthesis of data was carried out spatially using an assessment level with the help of a Geographic Information System (GIS) to obtain three spatial zones that refer to the Tri Mandala concept, consisting of zones for tourism use, buffers and religious sacred ones. The circulation plan is divided into primary and secondary circulation paths with the circulation designation for Visitors with Religious Interests (PDKK) and tourists on each circulation path. The main activity plan consists of tourism activities and religious activities.

Planning for Tamblingan Lake Natural Park Buleleng, Bali. The Tamblingan lake's natural tourist park has a potential of attractions that are aided by both its unique and strategic location. This makes the Tamblingan natural park a highly prospecting area that is able to attract tourists and plan the park's natural parks. The study intended to set up a zoning plan for lake tamblingan natural tourist park. The method in this study used survey method. By the stage of planning starting from the preparation stage, inventory, analysis, synthesis, concept, and planning. This research has a site plan. The attractive, environmentally insightful concept of tourism is based on the potential resources of landscapes and attractions and tourist attractions to preserve the landscape's resources and sustainability. The end result of the study was the landscape plans for the natural park areas of Tamblingan lakes involving the distribution of space, circulation, activity, and facilities.

Defense System in the Bali Aga Village Area in Karangasem Regency. The defense system is one of the important things in settlements. Oscar Newman has developed the concept of defensible space, which is a defense concept to improve the quality of residential environments. The Bali Aga people still carry out their traditions, both in terms of customs and in living. Many of the characteristics of the Bali Aga settlements are still clearly visible, because the traditional concepts are still adhered to by most of the people. Aspects of the concept of defense in Bali Aga settlements have not been disclosed much. The disclosure of the concept of defense in the Bali Aga settlement is expected to add references to improve the quality of settlements. This research was conducted in three Bali Aga settlements, namely Timbrah Village, Asak Village, and Bungaya Village, in Karangasem Regency. This village was chosen because it has a location that is close together and has many similarities, in terms of customs and geographical conditions. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by means of literature studies, observations, and in-depth interviews. Descriptive data were analyzed by content analysis. The results of the study show that the concept related to the defense system in living is seen in spatial organizations that emphasize the occurrence of natural surveillance. The concept of defense is also in the form of establishing boundaries in the yard of the house, and limiting access. Communal space is the center of the area, emphasizing the concept of openness to facilitate control over the behavior of the community and outsiders.
