Opportunities, challenges and future perspectives of Geothermal Energy in Ethiopia: A Review 埃塞俄比亚地热能源的机遇、挑战和未来展望:综述

Ethiopia is among the East African regions with huge geothermal energy potential due to the presence of geologically active volcanic and hot spring-featured Rift Valley. However, geothermal energy is at its infant stage of utilization not only in Ethiopia but also in the continent of Africa and globally. Regionally, Kenya is the country with advanced extraction of it for electricity generation followed by Ethiopia in East Africa. Generation of electricity from this largely abundant energy resource has an enormous opportunity for societal and regional economic development though it is not an easy process due to the many challenges of the generation process. In this paper, geothermal energy in Ethiopia and the region, the opportunity, barriers with possible solutions, and future perspective are stated.

INTRODUCTION: India, with its diverse energy needs, is at a crucial point, looking to adopt greener energy options for sustainable future; wherein green hydrogen is emerging as a key player, fitting well with India's renewable energy goals. OBJECTIVES: In this backdrop, this research paper dives into the world of green hydrogen, India's renewable energy regime, and the latest green hydrogen initiatives. The paper highlights how green hydrogen works hand-in-hand with India's broader renewable energy plans, including private public partnerships. The paper also looks at the overview, challenges and future prospects of the green hydrogen framework of India. METHODS: The methodology used in this paper is based on comprehensive analysis of legal documents, statutes and case law, focusing on a systematic examination of judicial decisions and legal principles. RESULTS: The research concludes that green hydrogen holds significant promise for India's energy future, effectively complementing its renewable energy strategies and offering viable solutions to climate change challenges, thereby supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 7. CONCLUSION: In conclusion, the research paper ends on a hopeful note, suggesting that green hydrogen could be a vital tool in addressing climate change and play a significant role in India's renewable energy regime, aiding in the achievement of SDG7.

Mobile Robot Vision Image Feature Recognition Method Based on Machine Vision 基于机器视觉的移动机器人视觉图像特征识别方法

In order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of mobile robot visual image feature recognition, a mobile robot visual image feature recognition method based on machine vision is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the development of mobile robot vision is analyzed, and the specific functions of robot visual feature recognition method are designed; Then, the Fourier series method is used to collect the mobile robot visual image, and the matrix associated with the autocorrelation function is calculated according to the Harris algorithm to complete the edge feature extraction of the mobile robot visual image; SIFT feature points of mobile robot visual image are classified, and mobile robot visual image feature recognition is realized through machine vision. The experimental results show that when the number of images is 600, the accuracy of image feature recognition and the loss value of image edge feature extraction of this method are 96.98% and 6.38%, respectively, and the number of iterations is 500. The time of visual image feature recognition of this method is only 3 minutes; The method has the lowest error mean and error variance under different noise conditions. This method can effectively improve the efficiency and accuracy of image feature recognition.

Fault Diagnosis Algorithm Based on Power Outage Data in Power Grid 基于电网停电数据的故障诊断算法

INTRODUCTION: With the rapid development of the power industry, the power system has become more and more complex and prone to failures, which seriously impacts power supply and safety. OBJECTIVES: Development of efficient and accurate fault diagnosis algorithms for power systems. METHODS:Proposes a fault diagnosis algorithm based on outage data to construct an outage fault prediction model using accurate data. First, the outage data are collected, pre-processed, feature extracted and reduced to obtain a more efficient data set. Then, an optimized fault diagnosis algorithm is designed based on logit, support vector machine (SVM) and decision tree (DT) to improve the accuracy and efficiency of fault diagnosis. RESULTS: The method is applied to the natural power system, and the results show that the optimization algorithm outperforms the traditional methods.   Specifically, the accuracy of the optimization algorithm can reach 100%, while the accuracy of the traditional logit algorithm and SVM algorithm is only 84% and 93%, which is a significant improvement in the model prediction performance. CONCLUSION: The author can significantly optimize the performance of its model and construct an outage data mining algorithm with a good predictive ability to achieve grid fault research and judgment, which has a specific application value in the practical field.

Researchers and scientists have developed various approaches and methodologies over time to model and analyze different types of linear programming problems, such as assignment problems and parametric programming problems. This paper provides a critical review and classification of existing modelling approaches and solution methods related to linear programming problems. Moreover, the simplex method is discussed in detail through a comprehensive literature review. The paper concludes by presenting an integrated research framework that is directly applicable to the present context, along with suggestions for future research directions.

Assessment of Road Condition: Traffic Safety Requirement 道路状况评估:交通安全要求

Road deaths and injuries highly affect the lives of people worldwide. road injuries and deaths happen due to improper driving, unfit motor vehicles, traffic laws disobeying persons and poor road condition. An effort is made here to assess the factors of poor road conditions which can be improved by prioritizing. Multi criteria technique is applied to prioritize the factors. Ann technique is adopted to assess the road condition. The methodology suggested can be used to determine the level of contribution of parameters towards safety hazard. Accordingly, appropriate mitigation measures may be adopted. A further detailed study needs to be conducted on a large scale by carrying out sensitivity analysis to test the stability of the ranking obtained by the suggested methods.

Automated System for forecasting and capacity management in BPO 业务流程外包预测和能力管理自动化系统

In the virtual world, every decision made by executives today need forecasting. Sound forecasting of demand and variations are no longer an extravagance but a necessity, since Operations in the organizations have to deal with the seasonality, sudden changes in capacity management, cost-cutting strategies of the competition, and enormous dynamics of the economy. This paper details the development of a Forecasting and Capacity Planning model to empower operations to consistently forecast incoming volume for scheduling/rostering. A combination of past process-specific data, algorithmic forecasting, Subject Matter Expert (SME) inputs, and modelling results in a forecast with a daily accuracy of up to 85% per month out and approximately 95%-98% per week. The tool leverages the generated forecast to envisage capacity and resource planning. This Capacity Planning tool gives the capacity requirement for the forecasted volume, scheduling, and staffing. The tool has been deployed across 150+ client area. POC (Proof of Concepts) was done across all domains to test the tool and as expected the tools is generating the forecast and schedule with the accuracy of 96.77%.

Informational Interventions in Environmental Behavior of Rural Residents: Example of Waste Separation and Water Quality Enhancement 对农村居民环境行为的信息干预:垃圾分类和水质改善实例

INTRODUCTION: The ongoing progress in China's rural revitalization and precision poverty alleviation has led to the gradual implementation of environmental improvement initiatives for rural residents. As a result, rural residents' environmental behavior is now being influenced by informatization interventions. With the deepening of these interventions, various environmental behaviors have emerged. Therefore, it is crucial to study the impact of informatization interventions on rural residents' ecological behavior, focusing specifically on garbage classification and water quality enhancement. OBJECTIVES: To improve the level of China's rural habitat improvement, to improve the mechanism of informatization intervention in the environmental behavior of rural residents; to solve the problem of garbage classification and water quality improvement in the environment of rural residents under the background of informatization intervention, and to improve the level of modernization of China's agriculture and rural areas. METHODS: First, using the theory of informatization intervention to establish a model of informatization intervention in the environmental behavior of rural residents; secondly, using the questionnaire method to investigate and analyze the ecological behavior of rural residents under the background of informatization intervention in the case townships; finally, using the model to analyze the results of the survey and establish the relevant principles of environmental improvement under the background of informatization intervention. RESULTS:  Under the background of informatization intervention, there is a significant improvement in the environmental behavior of rural residents, and the efficiency of garbage classification is significantly improved compared with the traditional model; the application of informatization intervention has dramatically improved the efficiency of environmental remediation in the case townships, and the informatization intervention can also play a significant role in the improvement of water quality. CONCLUSION: In the continuous process of rural revitalization and precise poverty alleviation work, to strengthen the informatization intervention of rural residents' environment and comprehensively improve the quality level of rural habitat environment, it is crucial to carry out from various aspects and construct informatization.
引言:随着中国乡村振兴和精准扶贫工作的不断推进,针对农村居民的环境改善举措也在逐步实施。因此,农村居民的环境行为正受到信息化干预的影响。随着这些干预措施的深入,各种环境行为也应运而生。因此,研究信息化干预对农村居民生态行为的影响至关重要,特别是对垃圾分类和水质改善的影响。 研究目的提高我国农村人居环境改善水平,完善信息化干预对农村居民环境行为的影响机制;解决信息化干预背景下农村居民环境中的垃圾分类和水质提升问题,提高我国农业农村现代化水平。 方法:首先,运用信息化干预理论建立信息化干预农村居民环境行为的模型;其次,运用问卷调查法对案例乡镇信息化干预背景下农村居民的生态行为进行调查分析;最后,运用模型对调查结果进行分析,建立信息化干预背景下环境改善的相关原则。 结果:在信息化干预背景下,农村居民的环境行为有了明显的改善,垃圾分类的效率较传统模式有了显著的提高;信息化干预的应用极大地提高了案例乡镇环境整治的效率,信息化干预对水质的改善也能起到显著的作用。 结论:在乡村振兴和精准扶贫工作不断推进的过程中,加强农村居民环境信息化干预,全面提升农村人居环境质量水平,关键要从多方面开展,进行信息化建设。

Intelligent Control of Solar LED Street Lamp Based on Adaptive Fuzzy PI Control 基于自适应模糊 PI 控制的太阳能 LED 路灯智能控制

As road traffic develops, energy-saving and efficient street lights have become a key research field for relevant professionals. To reduce street lights energy consumption, a fireworks algorithm is used to optimize the membership function parameters of fuzzy control and the initial parameters of PI control. A fireworks algorithm improved adaptive fuzzy PI solar LED street light control system is designed. The results showed that in the calculation of Root-mean-square deviation and Mean absolute error, the Root-mean-square deviation of the adaptive fuzzy PI control system improved by the fireworks algorithm was 0.213, 0.258, 0.243, 0.220, and the Mean absolute error was 0.143, 0.152, 0.154, 0.139, respectively, which proved that the prediction accuracy was high and the stability was good. In the calculation of the 1-day power consumption of the solar LED intelligent control system, the average power consumption of the designed solar LED intelligent control system was about 2000W, which was 25.9%, 47.4%, and 42.9% lower than the other three control methods, respectively. This proves that its energy consumption is low, and its heat generation is low, and the battery service life is long. The research and design of an adaptive fuzzy PI control solar LED street light intelligent control system has good performance, which can effectively achieve intelligent management and energy conservation and emission reduction in smart cities.
