In this passage, the problem of poverty in Mongolia is discussed. And it suggests three solutions. The first hypothesis proposes using Zambia's experience in system development as a model for improving technology and the economy of Mongolia. The second hypothesis aims to lessen dependency on the mining industry by growing non-mining sectors, especially tourism. The third hypothesis suggests developing a satellite launch facility and offering services to nations like China and Russia in order to promote a knowledge-based economy. These hypotheses are supported by the argument's reasoning and supporting data. It highlights the necessity of technological development, international partnerships, and diversification to end poverty in Mongolia. With the correct policies and cooperation among stakeholders, sustainable development is possible, as the paragraph highlights

This study delves into the intricate relationship between the French Revolution and the Reform Act of 1832, exploring how revolutionary ideals of liberty and equality, evolving class dynamics, and shifting socio-political contexts shaped political reform in early 19th-century Britain. The passage focuses on two main questions. Firstly, on an ideological level, how did the shock of the French Revolution impact the attitudes of various political powers in the UK towards democratic reforms? Secondly, how did the French Revolution influence the attitudes of different social classes in the UK? By examining the attitudes of different social classes, contentious debates over voting procedures, and various forces for change, this research illuminates the multifaceted impact of the French Revolution on Britain's path to reform.

In this research, our primary focus revolves around the role of art as a lens through which we can examine the impact of World War II on Japanese citizens, with a particular emphasis on the post-war generation. Two renowned Japanese contemporary artists, Nara Yoshimoto and Takashi Murakami, are central to our study. While their artworks may not seem directly related to the war at first glance, a closer examination reveals that both artists use metaphorical expressions to convey the fear and aftermath of the war. Through this study, I also found that both artists experienced the war's effects during childhood due to the bombings that marked its conclusion. This analysis explores how the Japanese perceive themselves in the aftermath of the war. Rather than addressing the topic directly, they often employ metaphorical references. The significance of this study lies in shedding light on the indirect ways in which the Japanese people reflect on their post-war identity and the lasting impact of World War II.

Metaphor has been a significant topic of discussion in several academic fields besides being extensively used in daily life. This article explores the interdisciplinary study of metaphor, a complex and connotative concept that has been the primary concern across various disciplines, including linguistics, philosophy, literature, and other humanities. The article presents multiperspective theories and metaphor analysis from the said disciplines to provide a more holistic understanding of metaphor. This includes analyzing metaphors in analytic philosophy and cognitive science, primarily focusing on the conceptual metaphor theory (CMT) developed by George Lakoff and Mark Johnson, complemented by analysis of the relevance theory, the blending theory, etc. While there are criticisms of CMT, it remains an influential theory in studying metaphor. The article also discusses the relevance theory, which suggests that using metaphors in speech can help achieve optimal relevancy, and the blending theory, which proposes that metaphors involve mapping elements from one mental space onto another to create a blended mental space that combines elements of both. This paper also addresses continental philosophers' usage or account of metaphor, from Kant to Derrida, in establishing their arguments. The essay then discusses and integrates ideas in metaphor studies from the perspectives of semantics and pragmatics. Finally, the article emphasizes the importance of bridging the gap between abstract conceptualizations and concrete linguistic expressions to gain a holistic understanding of metaphor.

In a society characterized by rapid technological and social advancements, we inherit knowledge from our predecessors while simultaneously building upon it to forge new cultural developments, and such process contributes to the Cumulative culture, the continuous and interactive process of adding innovations to a socially heritable unity of knowledge. Considering the prevalence of gender inequality background in our cultures, this academic article explores the intricate relationship between gender equality and cumulative culture. This paper posits that gender, as defined within the constraints of male and female due to various limitations, plays a pivotal role in this cumulative cultural process. As the results, the examination reveals a clear and positive association between cumulative culture and gender equality. Cumulative culture wields a significant influence over children's choices of gender role models, consequently impacting knowledge transmission and children's labor allocation. Simultaneously, fostering gender egalitarianism offers a pivotal avenue for advancing the evolution of human cumulative culture. This paper aims to declare the benefits of gender equality towards cultural evolution and humanity and proposes the potential ways to foster cultural societal thriving.

It is already common sense that the Enlightenment has brought huge improvement to human society both ideologically and physically and numerous scholars have discussed it before. However, the main aim of this article is to discover the real contributions of the Enlightenment and explore its limitations to our modern life. Think about what can be learned from the Enlightenment and what needs to be avoided in future political movements. The article will discuss the lasting legacies of Enlightenment in three aspects: Arts, Economics, and Women's Rights and then focus on the negative sides of Enlightenment at the end. This essay may not cover all the political philosophers during the Enlightenment, so there are some limitations to the conclusions. Moreover, since political movements have developed differently in different eras, some of these conclusions may not apply to todays society, but it can provide some references for scholars to study.

The number of vloggers identified as Chinese international students on social media has been steadily increasing in recent years. This can be attributed to two key factors. Firstly, the growth of the international education industry has provided more opportunities for Chinese students to study abroad and gain firsthand experience of foreign cultures. Secondly, the popularity of social media platforms in China has encouraged individuals to create diverse content, including vlogs. These Chinese international students have gained popularity as content creators on Bilibili. Through their vlogs, they act as cultural ambassadors, providing relatable guidance for audiences to explore and comprehend the similarities and differences between foreign cultures and their own. This study focuses on five influential vloggers who identify as international students on Bilibili, analyzing the language, themes, and characteristics of their top ten-ranked videos. The findings indicate that these vlogs utilize a combination of languages, tackle youthful themes, and explore socially relevant topics to elucidate cross-cultural content, and both highlight and bridge the challenges in cross-cultural communication.

Even though the cultural communication between Japan and Europe is massively documented, such as the impact of ukiyo-e prints on Impressionism, Chinese culture's enormous contributions are overlooked. Ukiyo-e is often regarded as the primary source that influenced Impressionism from the East during the Meiji Restoration in the fin de sicle. The East's impact on the West is long-lasting rather than explosive. The critical power of traditional Chinese art and innovations, for example, the moveable type printing, over the evolution of European art movements has yet to be noticed due to political and geographic limitations. Citing paintings by Ma Yuan (1160-1225), Li Song ( active 1190-1230) and Wang Ximeng (1096-1119) in China, Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798- 1861), and Hiroshige (1797- 1858) in Japan, Vincent Van Gogh (1853- 1890) in the Netherlands, and Claude Monet (1840-1926) in France, among others, as examples of specific comparisons and cultural analyses, this article delves into the hidden connections and cultural exchanges, through working on the technical and iconographical forms from ancient China that shaped the European art in the epoch of high modernism.

This study investigates the prevalence of gender discrimination in the recruitment process in the real world. The main objective of this study is to determine the existence and extent of gender bias against females in the recruitment process, especially when compared to males. Through a field experiment, this study analyzed the application results collected from 100 fictitious male and female employee resumes submitted to 50 real estate companies in Shanghai. The presence and degree of gender discrimination were determined by comparing the application results of different resumes. Particular attention was paid to the feedback received by virtual women who indicated family intentions in their resumes. Through rigorous analysis, it was determined that female employees, especially those who indicated family plans, received significantly fewer responses than male applicants, regardless of whether the male applicants indicated family plans. Based on these findings, it is clear that gender disparities are evident during the hiring process in basic-level positions such as those in the real estate industry. These results highlight the need to ensure equal opportunities and equity for female employees in the recruitment process.
