The war in Ukraine is the largest humanitarian crisis that Europe has faced in recent years, and our country, Romania, was directly involved in managing the situation created by the refuge of millions of Ukrainians (in particular, mothers and children) who left the country at the beginning of the armed conflict. This type of conflict has had a strong negative impact on children, especially Ukrainian children, and the thus generated trauma can affect the development of self-identity, of spirituality or of the world perspective due to its influence on cognitive processes involving the development of trust, intimacy, control, security, and power. Through our case study we capture the psychological effects of war on children, and the technique „ storytelling” as an effective method of intervention in treating war trauma in children.

From the moment we are born, until we reach adulthood, we depend on our parents and those who raise us. We have the need to create and form relationships, and, in order to be able to create them in a healthy, stable and harmonious way, it is fundamental to learn about the attachment patterns. The hypothesis of our research was to validate our own questionnaire measuring attachment patterns in adulthood. The tools we used were the questionnaires applied successively, and the first was the one containing the 117 items made up by us. After eliminating the questions that did not respect the normality, we applied the final form of the questionnaire, which includes 90 items. We used the Read and Collins Adult Attachment Scale (AAS) to help us validate our own measurement questionnaire, so we calculated the Alpha Cronbach coefficient, which indicated a high understanding for all three attachment styles, due to the fact that the coefficient values are greater than 0.6. This result indicates that our tool has consistency. Following the application of the Split-Half method, we obtained correlations that confirmed fidelity and consistency, being positive, between sets of questions in the case of scales that measure anxious, avoidant and secure attachment style, so we concluded the validity of questionnaires. The last part of the project boils down to identify the differences between women and men in the attachment style.

This research delves into the multifaceted dimensions of neuroticism, a fundamental trait in personality psychology, and its implications in the workplace. Grounded in psychological theories and the Big Five personality traits model, the study aims to unravel the nuances of neuroticism, exploring its historical evolution from a concept of pathological anxiety to a contemporary understanding as a normal personality trait. Motivated by firsthand observations of disparate approaches to neuroticism in the automotive industry across Romania and the United Kingdom, the study investigates the cultural and individual factors influencing these variations. The workplace, as a dynamic and culturally diverse arena, serves as a crucial backdrop for understanding how neuroticism manifests and its potential impact on employee well-being and organizational dynamics. The research unfolds against the backdrop of globalization, emphasizing the need to examine cultural differences in the manifestation of neuroticism. Drawing on insights from the automotive industry, the study explores the implications of neuroticism on team dynamics, organizational culture, and overall workplace productivity. The significance of the study lies in its potential to inform organizational policies, management strategies, and intercultural training programs aimed at optimizing workplace environments. By uncovering the cultural dimensions of neuroticism, the research seeks to contribute nuanced insights that can guide the development of targeted interventions for creating healthier and more productive work environments for employees across different cultural backgrounds. In conclusion, this study offers a comprehensive exploration of neuroticism, weaving together psychological theories, workplace dynamics, and cultural considerations. By shedding light on the interplay between neuroticism and cultural diversity, the research aims to provide valuable insights for both academic research and practical applications in organizational settings.

Educational software represents any software product in any format that can be used on any computer and that represents a subject, a theme, a lesson, a course, etc., being an alternative or the only solution to traditional educational methods (blackboard, chalk, etc.). Educational software is a progressive and motivating method that contributes to the efficiency of teaching/learning/evaluation, the modernization of the didactic act, and the accessibility of knowledge. The questionnaire, applied online, highlighted the implementation of the educational software in speech therapy, the advantages, disadvantages, along with the challenges and opportunities of their use. The most used educational software in online speech therapy by the speech therapists who participated in the study is LOGOPEDIX. Another platform used to a significant extent is Tara, Geno-Pro, Timlogo, Voxi Kids, Octoplay, Tarabostes, Pictosonidos. The role and contribution of educational software in the therapy of language disorders, how it influences the results obtained in speech therapy and how it contributes to solving a number of existing cases, was mentioned. Educational software specially created for children with disabilities are important sources in correcting deficiencies. Using IAC can help people with disabilities overcome their disability, become less dependent and enrich their repertoire of skills and abilities. The use of educational software in the correction of language disorders in students with intellectual disabilities is obvious, but the full exploitation depends on the degree to which speech therapists are prepared to integrate them, as well as the available technological resources

The coronavirus pandemic has put the education system around the world to the test. In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the school was conditioned to operate in a digitized environment, which determined the most unexpected psycho-educational and social experiences at the level of educational decision-makers, but also at the level of beneficiaries. Contrary to the fears of parents and teachers, in particular, regarding the difficulty of carrying out online activities, the data of our research showed that the use of new information technologies and educational platforms has proven to be the most important mobile of learning. Although there are insignificant differences between the answers provided by parents in the two research groups, special education and mainstream education, we appreciate that parents of special education students are more satisfied with the educational process specific to online school, because they are more involved in the educational activity of their children. The teachers, for their part, positively appreciate the educational involvement of the students during the online school period.

This paper explores the social representations and personality traits of parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The study delves into the complex interplay between societal perceptions and the intrinsic personality characteristics of these parents, providing insights into how these factors influence their coping mechanisms and parenting strategies. Through a mixed-methodapproach, involving qualitative interviews and quantitative assessments using established personality inventories, the research captures the varied experiences of parents navigating the challenges of raising children with ASD. The findings indicate that parents exhibit a spectrum of social representations, ranging from viewing ASD as a distinct aspect of their child's identity to considering it a condition that necessitates specialized intervention. These representations are influenced by cultural, social, and informational backgrounds. Concurrently, the personality traits of the parents, such as resilience, openness, and conscientiousness, were found to have a significant impact on their adaptation to the demands of parenting a child with ASD.Moreover, the study highlights the correlation between certain personality traits and the propensity for parents to engage with various social support systems and advocacy movements. The research also identifies the need for tailored psychological support for these parents to bolster their mental health and well-being. In conclusion, the paper underscores the importance of understanding the subjective experiences of parents of children with ASD. It emphasizes that social representations and personality traits are crucial determinants that affect the parenting experience, mental health outcomes, and the overall family dynamics. This understanding is vital for developing effective support systems and interventions that are responsive to the unique needs of families affected by ASD.

The analysis of multiple intelligences and professional competencies in the school guidance of adolescents is a vast and complex subject. This study addresses how various forms of intelligence, as defined by Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, influence the development of professional competencies and the educational guidance of adolescents. The research examines how different types of intelligence - linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, musical, kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist - contribute to the formation of competencies necessary for professional success. The study highlights the importance of a personalized education system that recognizes and values the diversity of adolescents' intelligences and competencies. It also discusses ways in which school guidance can be adapted to support each adolescent in exploring and developing their unique abilities and interests, thereby contributing to their preparation for a satisfying and aptitude-aligned career. The findings of this study offer significant insights for educators, school counselors, and education policymakers, underscoring the need to integrate the theory of multiple intelligences into school guidance strategies.

Our objective is to conduct a research to highlight the compensatory educational value of a tiflopsychopedagogy in Constanta County, which provides services to students with visual disabilities who learn in mainstream and special schools. Out of a total of 15 students with visual disabilities in our county (cf. School and Vocational Evaluation and Guidance Service), 5 learn in special schools in Constanta County and 10 learn in mainstream schools in our county. In order to achieve our objectives and verify our hypotheses, a questionnaire measuring the level of school and social inclusion was designed. It was administered to a group of 10 students attending mainstream schools in Constanta county. The interpretation of the results of the questionnaire was carried out by combining the quantitative and qualitative information obtained through the method of conversations with support teachers and the psycho-pedagogical teacher.

In this paper we aimed to study how the quality of life of the elderly was affected during the COVID-19 pandemic. The participants in the research were 130 elderly from Constanța County, of which 92 people are female and 38 people male. The research instrumentswere Quality of Life Inventory (QOLI) - developed by Michael B. Frisch, and Clinical evaluation scales for the elderly (CASE-SF) - developed by Cecil R. Reynolds and Erin D. Bigler. The results obtained from the statistical analysis of the data did not confirm the hypothesis that the quality of life differs between male and female. Also, a negative correlation came out between Help Needed Scale and Depression Scale.
