Screen readers for the visually impaired and blind and short video platforms have conflicting functionalities. In particular, blind users encounter information access barriers when searching for video content, which reduces their user experience. We embed auditory cues at the beginning of a short video corresponding to its content to help blind users identify the video type. The experimental design and evaluation results reveal the significant impact of these auditory cues. By embedding auditory cues, we can significantly enhance the user's usability, recognition efficiency, and emotional experience, surpassing traditional short videos' experience. Speech had the shortest response time and highest accuracy, while auditory icons provided a better emotional experience. In addition, some participants expressed concerns about the potential social privacy issues associated with Speech. This study provides auditory cue-matching solutions for a wide range of short videos. It offers a beacon of hope for enhancing the experience of short video platforms for the blind user. By doing so, we contribute to the well-being of people with disabilities and provide highly versatile user experience design recommendations for a broader range of digital media platforms.

Because of the lack of effective quantitative benefit evaluation methods for applying digital enterprise resource planning systems in supply chain management, this paper proposes a supply chain management benefit evaluation method after implementing the ERP system. This method starts from the two aspects of ERP implementation cost and quantitative income, establishes the evaluation index system of supply chain management benefit, then normalizes each index, uses the Delphi method to determine the weight of each quantitative income, constructs the evaluation model of enterprise supply chain management benefit after ERP implementation, and finally obtains the evaluation score in the form of the ratio of quantitative income to ERP implementation cost. In order to verify the feasibility of the model, the data of CM company from 2015 to 2022 are selected for simulation experiments. The calculated benefit evaluation score is consistent with the actual situation of the company's operation. Therefore, the model can effectively evaluate the benefits of applying digital enterprise resource planning system in supply chain management and provide strong support for enterprise management to plan ERP implementation and follow-up maintenance decision-making.

This study aimed to investigate the impact of the implementation of SDGs and GIS innovation on the socio-economic boom and concrete and rural machine mechanisms, with a focal point on the mediating role of community engagement and the moderating function of technology infrastructure. A quantitative research method turned into followed, and data was gathered from 320 individuals. A structured questionnaire was administered electronically to measure the constructs of SDGs implementation, GIS innovation, community engagement, socio-economic growth, and urban and rural system mechanisms. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was utilized for data analysis. The results indicated a significant and positive impact of both SDG implementation and GIS innovation on community engagement. Community engagement was found to have a significant and positive effect on socio-economic growth and urban and rural system mechanisms. Additionally, technology infrastructure was found to moderate the relationship between community engagement and urban and rural system mechanisms, as well as the relationship between community engagement and socio-economic growth. This study contributes to the existing literature by empirically examining the interplay between SDGs implementation, GIS innovation, community engagement, technology infrastructure, and their impacts on socio-economic growth and urban and rural system mechanisms. The findings highlight the importance of community engagement as a mediator and technology infrastructure as a moderator in achieving sustainable development goals and improving urban and rural systems.","PeriodicalId":508705,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Information Systems Engineering and Management","volume":"20 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139267932","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
With the development of technology, tourism information systems are playing an important role in facilitating travel and enhancing tourist experiences. These systems include online booking platforms, mobile applications, virtual tour guides, and information centers that allow tourists to store destinations accommodation and provide valuable information about events and cultural experiences. The purpose of this study is to understand how socio-economic factors affect travel decisions and how the tourism information system takes advantage of technology so that tourists have valuable information and services can be provided. Looking for this relationship, the study enhances tourist experiences, helping local economies, and it wants to identify opportunities to promote sustainable practices that meet both tourist preferences and the needs of local communities. In the Anhui region of China, the study uses a survey method to gather data from 300 visitors at popular tourist destinations such as Zhiyuan Temple, Tunxi Ancient Street, Huangshan's granite peaks and twisted pines, and Wancuilou Museum. The data is analyzed using structural equation modelling (SEM). Convenience sampling, a non-probability sampling technique, is the foundation of this study. In the fictitious study's results, the effect of socio-economic factors on tourists' travel decisions, the importance of a tourism information system in enriching travel experiences, and the ability of tourism information systems to support local economies and promote sustainable practices can be included. In addition, tourism information systems can offer valuable contactless solutions for tourists, and there may be opportunities to use technologies such as virtual reality and agnate reality for immersive destination previews. The study offers perceptions on the variables that entertainers and artists should consider to maintain their system in the market and enhance the province's overall tourism offering. The research gap needs to be filled is how to improve the current models of Anhui province's tourism information system factors to better prepare visitors for consumer behavior. In addition to giving a more thorough understanding of consumer behavior and government policies regarding the technology used in the tourism information system, the research findings may serve to increase the overall quality of the tourism industry.
