Commented catalogue of Cassidinae species reported from the state of São Paulo, Brazil is given. Altogether, 343 species are presently registered from the state representing the following tribes: Alurnini (5 spp.), Cassidini (84 spp.), Chalepini (85 spp.), Dorynotini (9 spp.), Goniocheniini (8 spp.), Hemisphaerotini (2 spp.), Imatidiini (25 spp.), Ischyrosonychini (6 spp.), Mesomphaliini (83 spp.), Omocerini (14 spp.), Sceloenoplini (9 spp.), and Spilophorini (13 spp.). Fifty-two species are recorded for the first time and 19 are removed from the fauna of São Paulo. Each species is provided with a summary of published faunistic records for São Paulo and its general distribution. Dubious or insufficient records are critically commented. A list of Cassidinae species collected in São Paulo by Jaro Mráz (altogether 145 identified species) is included and supplemented with general information on this material. In addition, two new synonymies are established: Cephaloleia caeruleata Baly, 1875 = C. dilatata Uhmann, 1948, syn. nov.; Stolas lineaticollis (Boheman, 1850) = S. silaceipennis (Boheman, 1862), syn. nov.; and the publication year of the genus Heptatomispa Uhmann, 1940 is corrected to 1932. Oblongiala zimbabwensis Liu & Cai gen. & sp. nov. is described from Zimbabwe and placed in the subfamily Peiratinae (Hemiptera: Reduviidae). Habitus, male genitalia and some diagnostic characters of the new species are illustrated. The affinities of the new genus are discussed with a key provided to help distinguish peiratine genera distributed in the Afrotropical Region.

Two new species of Lasionota Mannerheim, 1837 (Coleoptera: Buprestidae) are described from the Patagonian steppes in the Aysén Region, Chile: L. (Arqueozodes) cidburmeisteri sp. nov. and L. (A.) aonikenk sp. nov. The subgenus Arqueozodes Moore, 1997 therefore contains tree species and a key to them is proposed.

The genus Cupecuara Santos-Silva & Tavakilian, 2009 is reviewed and redescribed, and C. erwini sp. nov. from Ecuador is described. The genus is now composed of six species distributed in Central and South America. Photographs of Cupecuara species are included and a key is provided to differentiate them. Furthermore, the male terminalia are illustrated and described for the first time in the genus.

All genera of the tribe Typoderini presented in the Caucasus Region, i.e. Adexius Schönherr, 1834 (which is here transferred to Typoderini from Molytini based on morphological characters), Anchonidium Bedel, 1884, Aparopion Hampe, 1861, Caulomorphus Faust, 1886, and Pseudaparopion Borovec, Osella & Zuppa, 2002, are diagnosed and partly illustrated. One new species, Caulomorphus kociani sp. nov., is described; Caulomorphus besucheti Osella, 1970, Caulomorphus talyschensis Reitter, 1897, and Anchonidium perpensum Faust, 1886 are redescribed. Lectotype is designated for Anchonidium perpensum. Keys to Caucasian genera of Typoderini and to all species of Caucasian Anchonidium and Caulomorphus are provided. A complete list of species with their distribution is given.

The species of the Stenus aureolus group occurring in China are revised. Ten species are recognized, of which six are described as new: S. mendaensis sp. nov. from Qinghai, S. aduncus sp. nov. from Sichuan, S. platydentatus sp. nov., S. tenuidentatus sp. nov., S. paratrigonuroides sp. nov., and S. alpigenus sp. nov. from Yunnan. Stenus ambiseminiger Zhao & Zhou, 2006 is transferred from the synonymy with S. trigonuroides Zheng, 1993 to the synonymy with S. aureolus Fauvel, 1875. Stenus aureolus is newly recorded from China (Heilongjiang, Jilin, Neimenggu). New province records are reported for S. trigonuroides (Sichuan, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Qinghai, Gansu). Habitus and diagnostic characters of all species are photographed. A key to Chinese species of the group is provided.

Ten species are recognized, of which six are described as new: S. mendaensis sp. nov. from Qinghai, S. aduncus sp. nov. from Sichuan, S. platydentatus sp. nov., S. tenuidentatus sp. nov., S. paratrigonuroides sp. nov., and S. alpigenus sp. nov. from Yunnan. Stenus ambiseminiger Zhao & Zhou, 2006 is transferred from the synonymy with S. trigonuroides Zheng, 1993 to the synonymy with S. aureolus Fauvel, 1875. Stenus aureolus is newly recorded from China (Heilongjiang, Jilin, Neimenggu). New province records are reported for S. trigonuroides (Sichuan, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Qinghai, Gansu). Habitus and diagnostic characters of all species are photographed. The Formosan subterranean termite, Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki, 1909, is an important structural pest in Mainland China, Japan, Taiwan, Bahamas, and the United States. Coptotermes formosanus was first described in Japanese, and the morphological description was too simple for congeneric species differentiation, resulting in confusion in species identification. To date, ten junior synonyms of C. formosanus have been reported. To avoid further confusion, we redescribed C. formosanus based on the type specimen and the specimens from the type locality, Taiwan. Most of the Coptotermes Wasmann, 1896 taxonomy has been clarified worldwide and the Chinese case remains an outlier, with many species that need to be revised. We further examined the taxonomic statuses of four Chinese species, C. chang­taiensis Xia & He, 1986, C. hekouensis Xia & He, 1986, C. shanghaiensis Xia & He, 1986, and C. suzhouensis Xia & He, 1986. We proposed that C. changtaiensis, C. hekouensis, and C. suzhouensis are the junior synonyms of C. formosanus. Even though the morphological characters of C. shanghaiensis are similar to C. formosanus, the body size of the former is significantly smaller. Additional Coptotermes samples collected from the Shanghai area would be required for the taxonomic status of C. shanghaiensis to be confirmed.

Two new species of the tribe Coryphiini Jakobson, 1908 (Omaliinae) from Sichuan are described and illustrated: Archaeoboreaphilus paradoxus sp. nov. and Caloboreaphilus concisus sp. nov. New records of Boreaphilus japonicus Sharp, 1874 and Coryphium taibaiense Li, Li & Zhao, 2007 are given, and some morphological details of these species are illustrated. Boreaphilus japonicus is recorded from Shaanxi for the first time.A distributional map and key to species of Coryphiini of China are provided.

A taxonomic account and an annotated checklist of the Finnish Mymaridae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) are given, comprising 85 named species in 19 genera. Among them 2 genera, Dicopus Enock, 1909 and Stethynium Enock, 1909, 1 subgenus, Anagrus (Paranagrus Perkins, 1905), and the following 25 species represent new records for Finland: Anagrus (Anagrus) avalae Soyka, 1956, A. (Anagrus) bakkendorfi Soyka, 1946, A. (Anagrus) ensifer Debauche, 1948, A. (Anagrus) nigriceps (Smits van Burgst, 1914), A. (Anagrus) obscurus Förster, 1861, A. (Anagrus) parvus Soyka, 1956, A. (Anagrus) subfuscus Foerster, 1847, A. (Paranagrus) optabilis (Perkins, 1905), Anaphes (Anaphes) stygius Debauche, 1948, Camptoptera magna Soyka, 1946, Cleruchus megatrichus Novicky, 1965, C. taktochno Triapitsyn, 2014, Cosmocomoidea oxypygus (Foerster, 1856), C. tremulae (Bakkendorf, 1934), Dicopus minutissimus Enock, 1909, D. moscovit Triapitsyn, 2015, Gonatocerus aegyptiacus Soyka, 1950, Lymaenon aureus (Girault, 1911), L. longior (Soyka, 1946), Polynema flavipes Walker, 1846, P. fuscipes Haliday, 1833, P. pusilloides Debauche, 1948, P. valkenburgense Soyka, 1931, P. vitripenne (Foerster, 1847), and Stethynium triclavatum Enock, 1909. New distributional records and taxonomic notes on some genera and species are also provided. Caraphractus Walker, 1846, syn. nov. is synonymized with Eustochus Haliday, 1833 and treated as its subgenus, E. (Caraphractus), stat. revid., and its type species Caraphractus cinctus Walker, 1846 is transferred to Eustochus as Eustochus (Caraphractus) cinctus (Walker, 1846), comb. nov. Eustochus (Eustochus) koponeni Triapitsyn, sp. nov. is described from Finland and Germany. Lymaenon gracilentus (Hellén, 1974), stat. restit. is resurrected as a valid species from the previous synonymy with Lymaenon aureus and redescribed. The previously unknown male of Alaptus schmitzi Soyka, 1939 is described. Polynema depressicollis Hellén, 1974, syn. nov., is synonymized with Polynema (Doriclytus) vitripenne. Anagrus (Paranagrus) optabilis is newly recorded from the Canary Islands and Madeira, and Cleruchus megatrichus is for the first time reported from France.
