Subject. This article discusses the role of healthcare in ensuring economic security. Objectives. The article aims to develop a model for assessing the level of economic security in the region, taking into account the costs of providing medical care in various conditions. Methods. For the study, I used a simulation approach based on the concept of mechanism design and game theory. Results. The article finds the dependence between the content of the development strategies of medical organizations and the level of economic security of the region. The article presents a developed mathematical model that helps predict the level of economic security in the region and determine priorities in financing the healthcare system. Conclusions. The article concludes that the probability of bankruptcy of private medical organizations is quite high, since the strategies chosen by them lead to the need to attract funding from extra-budgetary sources for all conditions of medical care.

Subject. This article discusses the development of wind energy in Russia. Objectives. The article aims to identify a set of key management objects and develop a process model for the functioning of the State management system of the electric power industry. Methods. For the study, we used a systems analysis. Results. Based on the analysis of the regulatory legal acts governing the development of the electric power industry in Russia, the article designs a single control loop for the industry. It finds that the problems of the existing system of governance lie in the fragmentation and disparity of its elements with each other. For the received projects of the federal system of public administration in the energy sector, the article offers complete lists of elements that eliminate the identified problems. Conclusions. The results of the study can be taken into account when developing projects for the use of renewable energy sources in Russia.

Subject. This article examines the innovative potential of the regions of Russia and the problems of balanced development of the country's regions. Objectives. The article aims to form a set of indicators, the consideration of which can help determine the potential of the region's economic sectors. Methods. For the study, I used the general scientific research methods. Results. Based on the analysis of various approaches to the definition of the concept of Growth Zone, the article finds that the accuracy of determining growth zones increases when industries are decomposed into sub-industries. When determining the zones of growth, it is necessary to take into account the economic, innovative, social, and spatial factors of the region's development. Conclusions. The results of the study can be taken into account when developing strategies for the socio-economic development of regions and determining areas of specialization.
