Precise SMEFT predictions for di-Higgs production 二希格斯生产的精确 SMEFT 预测

We present results of precision calculations for di-Higgs production that combine NLO QCD corrections with operators at canonical dimension six within Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT). We discuss possible options for operator contributions within a given EFT framework and sources of theory uncertainties.

HL-LHC and Beyond Computing Challenges HL-LHC 及其他计算挑战

In anticipation of the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) era, the High Energy Physics (HEP) community faces considerable challenges in the evolving landscape of both experimental and computational domains. This paper explores the coordinated efforts led by the HEP Software Foundation (HSF) to address common challenges in software and computing. The HSF facilitates international collaboration and coordinates research and development through working groups. As the HL-LHC poses unprecedented data volumes and computational demands, the community adapts with advancements in hardware utilization, novel simulation techniques

The limits of QGP-like effects towards smaller systems: from Pb-Pb down to pp and fixed-target collisions QGP 类效应对较小系统的限制:从 Pb-Pb 到 pp 和固定目标碰撞

Experimental findings of recent years blurred the frontier between large and small systems. The features attributed to the Quark Gluon Plasma formation have also been found in smaller systems when measuring particle production in high multiplicity events. These common features arise in multiple sectors, namely the particle dynamics (known as collective flow) and also when considering hadrochemistry (e.g., strangeness enhancement). The limit in small systems where this non-trivial behaviour occurs, is of very high interest in the field and is actively being investigated. This is carried out by performing multi-differential analyses and by selecting collision systems that are smaller than pp collisions. The current experimental contour of the limits between large and small systems is discussed in these proceedings.
