The purpose of the study is to identify the features of strategically important areas of development of the transport industry in Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation, to identify key barriers preventing an increase in the share of rail freight traffic in the total cargo base of the country, which allowed the authors to formulate some proposals aimed at improving the competitiveness of rail freight transport. To assess the availability of the potential for rail transport supplies and the possibility of its further increase, an analysis of the economic development of the region was carried out, which made it possible to identify key factors that have a significant impact on the development of individual industries, on the basis of which forecast values for attracting additional cargo to rail transport across the subjects of the Russian Federation for key sectors of the economy were compiled.

This article is a review of the electronic tools Yandex.Metrica and Google Analytics for potential possible use in urban digital infrastructure facilities. A comparative analysis of the data from two tools in search of an optimal choice was chosen as the research method. The work consists of an introduction, which provides a brief description of the abovementioned electronic platforms, the main part and a conclusion, which presents a likely partial confirmation of the hypothesis. The article may be useful for students, postgraduates and research teachers in the fields of political science, information technology and economic sciences, as well as be of interest to specialists in promoting products to the market and lobbying interests within the framework of government contracts.

The article demonstrates the way of formation of N. Y. Danilevsky’s civilizational concept, which coincides with the concepts of modern ecology. The scientist proved the applicability of logical theories in the study of biological and cultural-social factors, consistent primarily with the principle of plurality of stable ecosystem conditions [28, 29, 31]. The article uses the methods of historicism, the principles of scientific objectivity and consistency, which allow us to consider the life and views of Danilevsky as a whole, with an analysis of the facts in their entirety and interrelationship. The study was conducted on the basis of a theoretical foundation created by the published works of N. Y. Danilevsky, personal documents, memoir literature, as well as the works of public figures of the 40-80’s of the XIX century, allowing to assess the controversy regarding the major work of the thinker «Russia and Europe», which occupies a huge place in his creative heritage.

In the current economic environment, in order to develop customer focus and improve the quality of freight transportation planning at JSC Russian Railways, the priority activity is the development of modern freight services to improve the quality of services provided to railway transport customers in order to simplify access to the services of the Russian Railways holding company in the field of freight transportation, customer-oriented approach, organization of freight forwarding services and logistics services on the «one-window» principle. Creating a single information space between participants in rail freight transportation and ensuring monitoring of the fulfillment of contractual obligations for the delivery of goods and carrying out mutual settlements online is one of the primary tasks of the joint-stock company.In a scientific article within the framework of the implementation of the state program «Digital Economy of Russia» at JSC Russian Railways, the author examines the issues of modern development of freight services at JSC Russian Railways to attract new customers and increase the loyalty of existing ones. The digital transformation strategy of JSC Russian Railways is the process of changing the industry’s activities in the digital economy. These changes consist of: searching and implementing innovations, expanding the range of services offered to the market and introducing digital products.

The article analyzes topical issues related to the research and prospects for the development of conservatism in Russia. An overview of existing research on this topic is presented. The importance of addressing the legacy of Russian conservatism is due to the presence of interesting theses on the part of its theorists regarding the spiritual and moral foundations of Russian civilization, the peculiarities of the country’s historical path, the development of statehood and democracy. The author argues that without studying the works of classics of conservative thought, it is impossible to comprehend the history and current state of conservatism in Russia.

The article reveals the peculiarities of application of digital technologies and AI in political processes in the USA, EU, China and Russia on the basis of comparative analysis. The conclusion is made about the competitive advantage of the USA in this area and the growing competition between Washington and Beijing in the digital field. In addition to positive factors of participation of digital technologies and AI in public administration and in the organization and conduct of elections, serious risks have been identified, such as possible leaks of large amounts of personal data as a result of cyberattacks, generation of fake news by neural networks, and malicious activity of chatbots with the aim of forming the public opinion on a political subject desired by the government or a particular state. The place of Russia in the list of main contenders for superiority in the digital sphere is determined.

In this article, the authors analyze domestic and foreign experience in political and legal regulation of the system of countering extremism. The need for comprehensive interaction in matters of preventing and combating extremist manifestations on the territory of the Russian Federation, government bodies, law enforcement agencies with public organizations and civil society institutions is revealed.The authors come to the conclusion that even in the context of a special military operation and external sanctions, taking into account and implementing the experience of foreign countries in the fight against extremism in the Russian legal system is still significant.

Overcoming apathy, absenteeism and inattention of the population to problems of local importance is one of the most urgent tasks of the modern system of municipal government. The exclusion of the population from the process of implementing municipal power violates the constitutional essence of local self-government, on the basis of which citizens must independently resolve issues of local importance. The low level of citizens’ involvement can be overcome by political parties, which currently need to be incorporated into the changing system in a timely manner, turning into a modern mechanism for popularizing direct participation of citizens in the management of the local community.
