The purpose of this article is to contribute to the analysis and understanding of the Network of Health Professionals for the Right to Decide and its actions in the development of accompanying policies for access to legal and voluntary interruption of pregnancy in the health system from Argentina. The parallels between the Network of Professionals and the ideological current of feminist bioethics, and the construction of democratic links in the medical care process are addressed. The article has a qualitative research methodology based on conducting face-to-face and online interviews that allowed continuing field work in instances of the covid-19 pandemic. Contact was made with members of the network from different localities and provinces, which made it possible to obtain a federal representation of the situational reality of abortion in the country.

The aim of this article is to rescue the role of the U.S. press as a generator and disseminator of emotions within certain urban subjects. I start from the assumption that emotions play an important role in the configuration of national, local, and group identities (age, gender, race). The regulations on their forms and (appropriate/proper) moments of expression or containment contribute to legitimize, subordinate, and differentiate the dissimilar groups that coexist in a place. With this research, my analysis focuses on the study of the handling of emotions by the press during the so-called zoot suit riots or “motines de pachucos” lead by young Marines and mexican american teenagers in the city of Los Angeles, California during the summer of 1943. One of my interests is to find similarities and differences in the way two different geographical spaces, the Southwestern and Northeastern American regions, approached and interpreted emotionality the events. And answer whether the particularity in their historical developments plays a role in the interpretation and emotional, racial, and age-related reading of the events.

This article aims to identify agroecological practices in urban gardens in Mexico City and their relationship with the construction of food citizens-hip. To address this relationship, ten urban gardens (UG) in Mexico City were selected. The collection of information was done through interviews with those mandated for the cultivation spaces, as well as their users, participant observation was also carried out in events organized by some of the UG. From this approach to urban gardens in Mexico City, we find that there is a tendency to privilege responsibilities over rights.
