Image Super Resolution Using Fractional Discrete Wavelet Transformand Fractional Fast Fourier Transform 基于分数阶离散小波变换和分数阶快速傅里叶变换的图像超分辨率

Super-resolution (SR) technique reconstructs a higher-resolution image or sequence from the observed LR images. In various image processing fields super resolution is playing a very crucial part. The single-frame as well as multi-frame both the methods in SR are widely used in multiple day to day applications and systems from last few years. In this work, we are proposing an Image resolution enhancement technique which has its basis on interpolation of the high-frequency sub-band images obtained by fractional discrete wavelet transform (FDWT). HereFDWT is used to decompose an input low-resolution image into different subbands. Then, interpolation between the high-frequency subband images and the input image takes place, followed by combining all these images to generate a new high-resolution image by using inverse FDWT. Directional selectivity which is provided by FDWT actually produces resolution enhancement, where the high-frequency subbands in different directions contribute to the sharpness of the high-frequency details such as edges. The quantitative peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and visual results show the superiority of the proposed technique over the conventional bicubic interpolation image resolution enhancement techniques.

Machine Learning is being used extensively in various fields. From health, physical systems and astronomy, the scope of automating process and analyzing data has no limits, added by the sheer amount of computation prowess. In this paper, we will use various Machine Learning Algorithms to perform supervised classification of one of the most relevant and unique stars of the Milky Way Galaxy - RR Lyrae. We will discuss the performance of each algorithm and use Type I and Type II errors to improve their performance. Furthermore, we will visualize and analyze the data to mine meaningful information.

Chinese Document Information Processing Model Based on Random Walk Algorithm 基于随机游走算法的中文文献信息处理模型

In this paper, we conduct research on Chinese document information processing model based on random walk algorithm. Because of the complexity and also the particularity of processing Chinese information, Chinese search engine technology needs to be improved. The Chinese search engine cannot directly copy foreign technology. To study and analyze the expertise of the Chinese, we can accurately find the need in vast information base as the Chinese information. In this paper, the dictionary learning and sparse representation with random walk model are introduced into the character recognition to solve the problem of pen character and noise of the fax characters. The novel analytic framework is presented to assist the processing of the methodologies. The recognition method does not require preprocessing operations such as character binarization and thinning, only one feature and one classifier is needed, compared with the current multi-feature multi-cascade classifier fusion recognition method, proposed recognition method has characteristics of low complexity. The test on the experiment also reflects the robustness of the proposed model.

To detect eye gaze and recognize sclera in this paper a unique method is proposed. In the recent years very few methods have been proposed which process noisy sclera images which are pictured at-a-distance and on-the-move, our proposed method focuses more on these noisy images. Sclera blood vessels are in trend as an efficient biometric trait and our method focuses more on enhancements of the techniques to detect sclera.The research idea deals with picturing the eye using a standard camera with a visible-wavelength instead of infrared images. Our proposed method first performs sclera template rotation alignment & then to minimize the error rates we implemented distance scaling method for the images capture ata-distance & on-the move. We implemented the system on windows on java platform & evaluated the performance on UBIRIS.v2 database.

Among the most mainstream ones are Ad-hoc On-request Distance Vector (AODV), Destination-Sequenced Distance-Vector Routing convention (DSDV), Dynamic Source Routing Protocol (DSR). In this venture we show our perceptions in regards to the execution correlation of the above conventions for changing number of hubs in two distinct reaches (setting the hubs in an irregular form) in versatile specially appointed systems (MANETs). We perform broad reproductions, utilizing NS-2 test system. Our examination has demonstrated that bundle conveyance proportion builds, throughput and end-to-end delay changes with expanding number of hubs in two unique reaches while standardized steering load, parcel thickness division and vitality expended stays consistent.

Simulation & Analysis of Fuzzy Based Modulation Control Technique of Matrix Converter 矩阵变换器模糊调制控制技术的仿真与分析

The controlling and changing method for electrical imperativeness is the most basic process in the field of electrical engineering. The expanded difficulty of their supervision and use of additional number of segments provoked work with of new kind of converter called Matrix Converter which is extremely understandable and inviolable. In this atricle fuzzy logic technique associated with linear RL load – matrix converter under supply voltage related structure is analyzed. Matrix converter technology is used in different fields of application such as power system load and AC drives. Finally, the effectiveness of Matrix Converter with reduced THD values are demonstrated by Simulation results.

Energy has become mankind’s basic need of living. Energy crisis is causing tension on conventional energy resources. Conventional energy resources like Coal, Petroleum are said to face shortage in coming future. Moreover, its non-clean nature causes problems of pollution and global warming. It is time to switch to cleaner and abundant energy source. Due to copiousness of solar radiation striking on earth surface it is considered as major potential Free energy source. Despite of much research on utilising this energy effectively, good radiation collection efficiency is deficient. Dual Axis Solar Tracker is one of the methods which can provide highly efficient way to utilise more solar energy. This paper represents single axis and dual axis solar tracker systems. Microcontroller based dual Axis Solar Tracker was designed and LDR (light dependent resistor) was used as sensor to calculate intensity of light. Computational result was also obtained to calculate efficiency of system. Dual Axis tracker found to be 25% more efficient then single Axis tracker.

Drowsiness Detection and Monitoring the Sleeping Pattern using Brainwaves Technology and IoT 利用脑波技术和物联网检测和监测睡眠模式

In this paper, a drowsiness detection system based on a brain-computer interface (BCI) headset having 3 electrodes is proposed. The headset is mounted on the user’s head to compute the brain wave frequencies. The signal received from BCI headset is processed to remove the external noise. The computed frequencies is then compared by the threshold frequencies of the brain state and a particular decision like whether an individual is in an active state or in a drowsy state can be taken. If an individual is in a drowsy state, a particular alarm is generated on his/her Android phone to wake the person up. An individual user’s sleeping pattern while working is stored on the cloud so that it can be used for analyzing an individual’s brain state while working. This project is proposed with an aim of getting the work done within a particular time period.
