Smart agriculture is an emerging application which is largely based on the incoming of the Internet of Things (IoTs). Smart agricultural system contains a lot of components and the lower layer is wireless device network. The time-serials data sensed by wireless sensor nodes is delivered by hop-hop communication which can simplify the framework of the wireless sensor network for smart agriculture, as it no longer needs multiple layers or cluster in the network. And this simple type of wireless sensor network can also work well without the help of expensive mobile devices, which reduces the financial cost. The energy cost generated by the hop-hop delivery can be greatly reduced with the optimisation of the path covering all greenhouses by genetic algorithm, which can largely decrease the investment cost and will further make smart agriculture more suitable for financial investment.

The recent advances in wireless communication have addressed the problem of spectrum scarcity. The available wireless spectrum has become insufficient due to the increasing spectrum demand. The largest portion of the allocated spectrum is periodically used that guides to the underutilisation of the spectrum. The idea of Cognitive Radio (CR) technology is introduced to improve the spectrum efficiency. This concept provides a solution for the issue of spectrum demand in wireless networks. Owing the security issues, the CR network poses new challenges in wireless communications. In this article, a Primary User Emulation (PUE) attack is studied from the Neyman-Pearson criterion point of view and a novel system is proposed to overcome the PUE attack. A novel system model contains a different configuration of Primary Users (PUs) which is proposed and studied. The novel system model with maximum likelihood criterion will solve the PUE attack issues as efficiently as possible. The experimental result shows the characteristics of the false alarm and missed detection probability, during the implementation of the proposed system.

This paper proposes a series of language-independent domain name abuse detection features, including domain name string features, domain name registration features, domain name resolution features and domain name service features, and trains six pattern recognition algorithms in the corresponding feature space. To validate the effectiveness of extracted features and learning algorithms, a practical data set is constructed, and the performance of related features and learning algorithms are compared and analysed. The experimental results show that the multi-scale features extracted in this paper have good recognition ability. The Random Forest algorithm achieves the best comprehensive effect when only 8-dimensional fusion features are used, where F1-Measure and ROC Area reach 0.965 and 0.978, respectively.

With the development of wireless sensor networks, and other information related high technologies, a lot of practical Internet of Things (IoT) applications have greatly increased the productivity. Currently, more and more capital is invested in IoT, especially intelligent agriculture as many countries begin to pay more attention to basic and intelligent agriculture. For a large intelligent agriculture system, it will cost a lot of time and energy for the mobile sink to collect all the data of the sensing system with the help of cluster head node. In this paper, we try to solve this issue by minimising the data collection path of the mobile sink, using the ant colony optimisation algorithm. We implement the algorithm in Python and conduct two experiments which show that we can get the best path of the given example and show how the efficiency changes when the numbers of ants and loops increase.

The depth simulator can simulate the depth variation of seawater in real time and is an important part of the semi-physical simulation system of underwater equipment. In order to detect the high-pressure resistance and pressure detection accuracy of underwater operation equipment, the deep sea simulator is required to restore the ocean pressure environment as much as possible. This paper proposes a pressure sensing system with a stop device. By integrating the advantages of the large-range pressure sensor, the sensing system has the characteristics of large-range and high-precision. The physical samples were made and tested, and the friction of the sealing ring was found to be too large. Based on the multi-objective optimisation program, Matlab was used to simulate and optimise, and the reasonable structural parameters of the pressure sensing system were obtained.

In Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), the main problem is how to design an energy-efficient routing protocol, but one of the bottlenecks is that in WSNs energy is limited. Owing the current cluster routing protocols unconsidered node location and adopted single hop routing mechanism in routing communication in heterogeneous (WSNs), so that a large number of cluster heads that are far away from the base station will consume a large amount of energy. In this paper, an energy balanced adaptive clustering routing protocol is proposed for heterogeneous WSNs, and node location and residual energy are considered to improve the cluster-heads elected mechanism, which increases the probability to become cluster heads that the nodes are close to the base station and have high residual energy. In addition, the protocol uses an adaptive routing communication mechanism combining multi-hop with single-hop to balance the network energy consumption. Theoretical and simulation results show that compared with DEEC and SEP, the protocol can prolong the lifetime of the network and increase the network throughput obviously.
