Covid-19 detection: a Deep Learning Approach based on Wavelet Transform 新冠肺炎检测:基于小波变换的深度学习方法

While being considered one of the most accurate and reliable techniques for detecting the Corona virus cases, the Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) remains quite expensive and requires advanced infrastructure and qualified manpower that are not always available in developing countries, fact that delays the diagnosis and increases the risks of mortality. Motivated by this concern and believing that applying AI techniques on X-Ray or Computed Tomography (CT) images can help detecting Covid 19 cases in a cheaper, faster, and accurate manner, a Wavelet Transform Enhanced deep learning Model (WTEM) is proposed to detect Covid-19 cases. More particularly, this paper presents a solution based on the combination of the wavelet transform technique with deep learning (DL) models. WTEM is compared to the DarkCovidNet model proposed by Ozturk et al. in (Ozturk et al., 2020) and to the VGG-19 model (Hansen, 2020). This solution outperforms both models in terms of accuracy, recall, and F1-Score in addition to significant reduction of the processing time and memory which makes it suited forY resource-constrained embedded systems.

Servicii de eGuvernare în era Blockchain 区块链时代的电子政务服务

The transition to eGovernment creates challenges in terms of the confidentiality and security of sensitive data of citizens and organizations. Information systems require the implementation of appropriate security mechanisms to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data. Blockchain technology has the potential to transform public services, enabling administrations to organize processes and manipulate information in an innovative way. Blockchain’s high level of security is an advantage over other tools and technologies used in data processing. This study examines how blockchain technology can contribute to the development of the new generation of eGovernment services and proposes an ecosystem model based on SSI (Self-Sovereign Identity) authentication and Smart Contracts between citizens and administrations. The results can be a starting point for the development of national initiatives to use the blockchain as a platform for communications and transactions in the public sector. Blockchain based electronic services provide enhanced security for governments, citizens and businesses.

Model Multiprofil de Maturitate a Securității Informației (M3SI) 多配置文件信息安全成熟度模型(M3SI)

The paper examines a Multiple Profile Model of Information Security Maturity (ISM3), uncomplicated and clear, aimed at generating particular (Individual) Information Security Profiles (PISI). ISM3 is based on currently known best practices for information security / regulatory frameworks, e.g. OISM3: 2017, NIST SP 800-53 rev.5 (2020), NIST 800-207 Zero Trust Architecture (2020), ISO / IEC 27001: 2013, PCI-DSS 3.2.1 (2018), COBIT 5: 2012, COBIT: 2019, ISO / IEC 20000-1: 2018, ITIL v4: 2019 etc. The ISM3 flexibility allows the addition, deletion, modification of new structured knowledge concerning the existing threats and risks, controls and metrics expected for the assessment of InfoSec maturity level. ISM3 is accompanied by a software tool application, which allows the generation of individual security profiles for specific information of certain industries (PMSITI), e.g. education, banking, medicine; at a concrete entity level, e.g. State University of Moldova, commercial bank, private hospital; at some InfoSec subdivision or area levels/spheres, of an entity, e.g. the commercial payments department of the Commercial Bank or the information systems security area with specific requirements for the internal/external context, with target values of the evaluation criteria and specific metrics for criteria measurement. Furthermore, PISI can be used for measurement and assessment of InfoSec maturity either in internal self-assessment missions or in external conformity assessment missions and / or advisory missions and / or to compare the maturity of some typical organizations belonging to a certain industry. The PISI assessment report reflects the scope and current status of the InfoSec, the specific risks and threats, and suggests recommended targets for improvement.

Ana Alsukary: an android mobile application to support diabetic children and parents in Saudi Arabia Ana Alsukary:一个支持沙特阿拉伯糖尿病儿童和父母的安卓移动应用程序

Mobile health (mHealth) has been widely invested in managing chronic diseases. The usage of mHealth could assist in improving patients’ understanding of their chronic diseases. This research contributes to this domain of knowledge by investigating the development and use of a mHealth that we call, Ana Alsukkary. This tool targets Saudi children with diabetes and their caregivers to help them better manage their diabetes. The tool allows children to share their blood sugar levels and communicate with each other while watching educational and motivational videos. Additionally, this app would allow parents/caregivers to communicate with each other and provide the location of stores that offer diabetes-friendly products. The Ana Alsukary app would additionally provide some information about the nutrition value amount in food and its effect on the blood sugar level. The tool has been built using Android-studio and technically evaluated using unit-testing and integration testing. The usability and ease of use has been evaluated qualitatively through a focus group where nine members participated. The results showed that the developed tool is convenient and easy to use. Caregivers have indicated that Ana Alsukary can assist several children to understand their diabetes condition and make adjustments with their lifestyle accordingly.

Smart design and dynamic control of the optimal component in a grid connected hybrid PV/Wind turbine system 光伏/风力发电并网混合系统中最优部件的智能设计和动态控制

: In the current research, we present a new developed Matlab/Simulink toolbox for power electronics to evaluate and improve the control of grid connected PV systems, and in grid connected hybrid system PV/wind turbine (WT). During the work, we carried out the development of a comparative study between two configurations with and without using the MPPT control system. Our focus is to describe the most important order to provide a new developed toolbox in our simulation results and find the best one model in terms of efficiency. The required power generated by the hybrid model system is supplied to feed the grid and AC load and to also optimize the time response of the system study by improving the filter parameters incorporated in our simulation results. This current research focuses on enhancing the performance of wind turbines using the maximum power point tracking P&O method, since our results indicated better performance wind turbine potential in the targeted region .

Methodology for the implementation of web standards to the activities of academic libraries 在学术图书馆活动中实施网络标准的方法

Abstract: Information technology has already been introduced in almost all human activities, allowing them to significantly improve their performances. Libraries are actively introducing modern information technologies into their work through digital transformation, which allows them to offer more opportunities and knowledge to readers. Information technologies certainly help to increase the level and quality of library services, increase labor productivity, and optimize many work processes. All these arguments will make any library more efficient in business processes. Despite the huge amount of different information on the Internet, all of it is disordered and not always users can independently find the necessary material on necessary topic, even spending a lot of his time on it. That is why, at the moment, there is a huge need to prove to students that the library is an indispensable place through a modern approach, for high-quality training and the provision of necessary and useful materials. The implementation of information technology and the gradual transition to the Library 3.0 and Smart Library standards have a positive effect on library attendance, rapidly increasing it. Attracting social networks and web resources allows to popularize the library among users and is also a huge factor in improving overall statistics.

Study and simulation of MPPT techniques to control a stand-alone photovoltaic system under varying irradiance 变辐照度下独立光伏系统MPPT控制技术的研究与仿真

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyze and evaluate three different forms of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) techniques under standard and various atmospheric conditions. In the literature, different MPPT methods are proposed and studied by researchers, let us quote the well known Perturb & Observe (P&O), the incremental conductance, fuzzy logic based MPPT, neural networks based MPPT,etc. The major drawback found is the effectiveness of these techniques under sudden variations in weather conditions such as irradiance and temperature. Another drawback of some MPPT techniques is the response time which is important to achieve the optimum power value. In this sense, optimization of P&O method becomes the objective of our work, to track the point of maximum power in a photovoltaic system under different weather conditions. In this paper, we will improve the P&O technique which makes it possible to react quickly to sudden changes in solar radiation and to follow the maximum power point with very low oscillations. The main idea is to use a PID regulator to make the voltage of the PV panel much closer than the MPP voltage, this method is named indirect P&O. The simulation based comparative study showed that the MPPT indirect P&O technique led to better performance.
