Les liens entre Francis Dhomont et Annette Vande Gorne, tous deux acousmates passionnes et pedagogues, ont anime le developpement d’un nouveau corpus d’oeuvres et marque les paysages acousmatiques quebecois et belge, en particulier entre 1980 et la fin des annees 1990. L’article propose de retracer le parcours complice de Dhomont et de Vande Gorne a travers les moments les plus marquants de cette periode. S’y dessine un profond attachement pour l’espace sonore et ses declinaisons dans des concerts spatialises, tout autant que pour un enseignement novateur. Leurs remarquables carrieres respectives sont ponctuees de contributions reflexives importantes pour definir ce qui distingue et caracterise la musique acousmatique. Enfin, on y relate les evenements et les collaborations qui ont fourni aux jeunes acousmates d’alors l’occasion d’approfondir leur art et de faire connaitre leurs musiques pour les uns en Europe et les autres en Amerique du Nord.
