XYZ is one of the companies that manufacture automotive spare parts. At present the company should focus on producing high quality, non-handicapped products with the fastest production time to win business competition. The company's strategy is to carry out kaizen which is a continuous improvement with the aim of preventing defective materials from entering the production process in the most effective manner. The method used by the company is to conduct inspection on incoming materials using poka-yoke method. The decision to run poka-yoke has been proven by reducing the amount of dimension defects material on the B8A rotor component of the supplier delivered to the production process up to zero the following month and producing a better cycle time in the 79.77 second. It can be concluded that the poka-yoke method is the right way to prevent the defective material from entering into a production process that can cause a defective.

The increase in population and the acceleration in the pattern of consumption cause a greater generation of solid waste. Among these residues, the urban solid waste that comes from human activities in cities and human settlements is significant. If these are not disposed of correctly, they can cause environmental impacts such as contamination of water, soil and atmosphere. In addition, many municipal solid wastes is toxic to living things. Alternatives to better management are fundamental to raising the environmental quality of ecosystems and the survival of the human species on the planet. Aiming to study a favorable sustainable use of the waste, this article made an analysis about the energy potential of these, advantages and limitations of the process. The research analyzed four types of thermochemical processes and estimated the efficiency of each relative to the gravimetric typology produced by the local population and visitors of the Fernando de Noronha archipelago. Incineration is the least efficient technique, while plasma gasification is the most recommended. When analyzing the cost-benefit of the processes, the conventional gasification is the most indicated, having the capacity to supply about 17.5% of the local residences. Thus, the implementation of thermo-chemical plants may be an alternative to waste management, reducing the economic costs and operational risks of the current process, thereby minimizing potential negative environmental impacts and reducing the population's dependence on other less sustainable sources of electric energy.

In this study, an integrated dual port ultra-wide band (UWB) and narrow band (NB) antennas for cognitive radio (CR) application are reviewed. In this paper, a monopole circular antenna is used for UWB sensing antenna fed by coplanar waveguide (CPW) transmission line with rectangular ground plane. The etched “e” shaped micro-strip antenna is basically used for NB as communication purposes, having low surface current density. This integrated antenna is a potential element for CR application, where circular monopole covers the UWB frequency band (3.1GHz to 10.6GHz) for spectrum sensing and NB having two resonant frequencies of 4.8GHz and 5.8GHz for WLAN application in mobile, laptops and wireless adapters operating at Cband. The return loss is less than -10dB in the whole operating band.

Using pipelines is the most effective and efficient way to transport oil and gas to an intended destination. However, pipelines also pose risks to humans, the environment and business interests. This research study assessed the level of pipeline risk of PT X. As such, it aimed to identify the efficacy of inspection and maintenance planning using a priority scale based on the ranking of the causes of failure. A combination of Analytical Network Process (ANP) and Risk-based Inspection (RBI) methods was used to assess the risk level of pipeline failure. The results using the ANP method showed that corrosion (44.64%) is the main factor causing failure to the pipelines. The atmospheric corrosion subfactor is one of the corrosion factors that contributed to pipeline failure (16.12%). Safety is the most significant consequence of the impact of pipeline failure (51.54%). Furthermore, by applying the RBI method, the Probability of Failure (PoF) value was calculated to be 1.2028 and the Consequence of Failure (CoF) value was 4.290, resulting in a risk level of 4 on the risk matrix order of 6 x 6. Inspection and maintenance programmes should pay special attention to the corrosion factors and the atmospheric corrosion subfactors in order to reduce the risk level associated with pipeline failure.

The success for every company from many field of businesses is depend from their work values. In various type of companies, strategies and performance of marketing division have a large influence in addition to quality, service, productivity etc. The purpose of this study is to know the marketing performance based on weighting criteria on Performance Evaluation with Fuzzy AHP method. In addition, it also aims to determine the rewards given by the company to achievement achieved based on weighting criteria based on performance appraisal. The data collection process in this study consists of four sources, namely interviews, direct observations, external data and literary sources. The Marketing performance evaluation process in this study carried out using the Fuzzy AHP method in two subcriteria groups, namely “Performance” and “Behavior”. The CR (Consistent Ratio) value of two selected criterion groups is CR group ≤ 0.1 (“Performance” = 0.058; “Behavior” = 0.057), so the data in the questionnaire is consistent Multiplication of weighting criteria with local weighting criteria, so that the global weighting sub-criteria can be obtained. Giving gifts to marketing has a positive impact on marketing performance.
