New Zealand Governments have longstanding policy commitments to equal employment practices. Little attention has been paid to ethnic pay disparities in recent years. Informed by a series of official information act requests, we were interested to find out what extent, ethnic pay disparities existed within the core public sector and district health boards (DHBs). We examined the population proportions of Māori, Pasifika and Other ethnicities earning over $NZ100,000 over five year intervals between 2001 to 2016, using linear regression analysis. The analyses showed a statistically significant pattern of ethnic pay disparities across the public sector. There were fewer Māori and Pasifika staff employed in DHBs than their population proportion. The failure to promote Māori and Pasifika to the upper tiers of public sector is consistent with definitions of institutional racism. The authors call for more research to understand the dynamics of ethnic pay disparity and the drivers of this disparity.

The Model of Engaging Communities Collaboratively was developed with the integration of literature reviews in cultural adaptation approaches, engagement and implementation approaches; and international Indigenous feedback to inform the processes of implementing evidence-based practices (EBP) with Indigenous populations. This model synthesises the collective strengths of these approaches and feedback and provides checklists for practicality of use by researchers, service providers and global Indigenous populations alike. This article describes the process of the theoretical development of the MECC and the feedback that refined it into a functional model for working with Indigenous populations worldwide.

Due to enormous increase in the usage of computers and mobiles, today’s world is currently flooded with huge volumes of data. This paper is primarily focused on multimedia data and how it can be protected from unwanted attacks. Sharing of multimedia data is easy and very efficient, it has been a customary practice to share multimedia data but there is no proper encryption technique to encrypt multimedia data. Sharing of multimedia data over unprotected networks using DCT algorithm and then applying selective encryption-based algorithm has never been adequately studied. This paper introduces a new selective encryption-based security system which will transfer data with protection even in unauthenticated network. Selective encryption-based security system will also minimize time during encryption process which there by achieves efficiency. The data in the image is transmitted over a network is discriminated using DCT transform and then it will be selectively encrypted using Number Puzzle technique, and thus provides security from unauthorized access. This paper discusses about numeric puzzle-based encryption technique and how it can achieve security and integrity for multimedia data over traditional encryption technique.

NTRU is being considered as part of the NIST quantum resistant cryptography standard. While NIST has received substantial attention in the literature, more analysis is needed. This current study uses a unique approach. The team of researchers divided into -sub-teams. Each is using a separate analysis technique on NTRU. Then the diverse -sub-teams' work was brought together into a single cohesive statistical analysis to provide well-founded conclusions regarding NTRU.

Face recognition is an identification system that uses the characteristics of a person's face for processing. There is a feature in the face image so that it can be distinguished between one face and another face. One way to recognize face images is to analyze the texture of the face image. Texture analysis generally requires a feature extraction process. In different images, the characteristics will also differ. This characteristic will be the basis for the recognition of facial images. However, existing face recognition methods experience efficiency problems and rely heavily on the extraction of the right features. This study aims to study the texture characteristics of the extraction results using the Local Binary Pattern (LBP) method which is applied to deal with the introduction of Probabilistic Linear Discriminant Analysis (PLDA). The data used in this study are human face images from the AR Faces database, consisting of 136 objects (76 men and 60 women), each of which has 7 types of images Based on the results of testing shows the LBP method can produce the highest accuracy with a value of 95.53% in the introduction of PLDA. Keywords—Texture characteristic, Local Binary Pattern (LBP), Local Ternary Pattern (LTP), Probabilistic Linear Discriminant Analysis (PLDA)

Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam whose implementation is required for all Muslims whose wealth meets the Nisab. Nisab is a standard of property that must be Zakati. Because Zakat is the property of the people, the management must be properly channeled. Surakarta city is one of the major cities in Indonesia, there are several institutions of amil Zakat in the city of solo. However, there is no data on the distribution of Zakat in the integrated solo city, so that there are still many recipients of Zakat who receive alms from several amil Zakat. In this study, mapping of Zakat, Infaqand shadaqoh mapping was carried out with a Geographical Information System (GIS). This study aims to produce a deeper analysis of the socioeconomic life in the city of Surakarta as a basis for mapping the distribution of Zakat, Infaq, andShodaqoh. The method used to collect data with rapid appraisal. Where rapid appraisal is a method used to collect data based on socio-economic conditions in the environment, so as to produce a picture of mapping the distribution of Zakat, Infaq, andShodaqoh which is used as a reference for amil Zakat institutions in the Surakarta region to spread.

The Surakarta Al-Islam Vocational School is a private educational institution that requires all students to pay school tuition fees. Education is an obligation for all Indonesian citizens. The cost of education is one of the most important input components in implementing education. Because cost is the main requirement in achieving educational goals. SPP School is a routine school fee that is carried out every month. Based on last year's School Admin report, many students were late in paying school tuition fees, around 60%. This is a very big problem because the income of school funds comes from school tuition. The purpose of this research is that the researcher will build a prediction system using the best classification method, which is to compare the accuracy level of the Naïve Bayes method with the K-K-Nearest Neighbor method. Because both methods can make class classifications right or late, in paying school fees. processing using dapodic data for 2017/2018 as many as 236 data. In improving accuracy, the researcher also applies feature selection with Information Gain, which is useful for selecting optimal parameters. System testing is carried out using the Confusion Matrix method. The final results of this study indicate that the Naïve Bayes Method + Information Gain Method produces the highest accuracy, namely 95% compared to the Naïve Bayes method alone, namely 85% and the K-NN method, namely 81%.
