Shallots are one of the most widely adapted vegetables. Shallot production in Banten is still low and has not been able to meet local needs. The low productivity of shallots in Banten is partly due to the selection of varieties and application of inappropriate fertilization technology and the unavailability of site-specific fertilization packages. Fertilizers used as recommended are expected to produce economically profitable results. This research aimed to determine the effect of three shallot varieties from botanical seeds and a combination of P and K fertilizers on the growth of shallots on dry land. The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Integrated Agricultural System of the Banten Province Agricultural Service at an altitude of 60 m above sea level. from July to September 2021. The design of this study using a factorial randomized block design, the first factor varieties treatment consists of three levels: Maserati varieties, Sanren varieties, and Tuk Tuk varieties. Factor fertilization treatment consists of three levels: 54 kg ha -1 P 2 O 5 + 90 kg ha -1 K 2 O, 72 kg ha -1 P 2 O 5 + 120 kg ha -1 K 2 O, and 90 kg ha -1 P 2 O 5 + 150 kg ha -1 K 2 O. The results showed that there was no interaction between varieties and combinations of P and K fertilizers on all observed parameters. Varieties treatment affected the number of leaves five weeks after planting, leaf area, plant wet weight and plant wet weight per plot, where the sanren variety had the best value, successively 16.5 strands; 499.28 cm 2 ; 86.90 g and 2105.01 g. The combination of fertilizer application of 90 kg ha -1 P 2 O 5 + 150 kg ha -1 K 2 O was the best for the parameters of leaf area, wet weight per plant and wet weight per plot, respectively 482.02 cm 2 ; 82.37 g; and 2065.61 g.

This study aimed to determine the best concentration of wood vinegar on the growth and yield of okra plants ( Abelmoschus esculantus L). This research has been carried out in Kenten Laut, Sukamaju, Sako, Palembang Indonesia from October 2017 to January 2018. The design of the research was Randomized Block Design with five treatments and five replications. The treatment studied was the concentration of wood vinegar, namely: control, 10 ml of wood vinegar liter -1 of water, 20 ml of wood vinegar liter -1 of water, 30 ml of wood vinegar liter -1 of water, 40 ml of wood vinegar liter -1 of water. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of branche, age of flowering, number of flowers per plant, number of fruit per plant, fruit production per plot. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that wood vinegar with concentration of 40 ml liter -1 water increased plant height, number of leaves, amount of fruit, fruit weight per plant, and the yield per plot.

Plant requires water and fertilizer for its growth. Water plays a role in maintaining cell turgidity or metabolism process especially in photosynthesis. Either organic fertilizer provides nutrients for plants, it is also known that organic fertilizer has the function of fixing soil physical properties by improving soil water holding capacity. The aim of this research is to study the effect of time watering interval and organic fertilizer made from slaughter house waste on lettuce growth and yield. This research was done in greenhouse, at Agriculture Faculty, Siliwangi University Tasikmalaya at an altitude of 356 m above sea level, starting from February to May 2020. This research was arranged on Completely Randomized Block Design in factorial pattern, consisted of two factors. The first factor is time watering interval, consisted four-time watering intervals, i.e., 1, 2, 3, 4 days. The second factor is organic fertilizer dosage, consisted of five organic fertilizer dosages, i.e., 0-ton ha -1 , 10-ton ha -1 , 20-ton ha -1 , 30-ton ha -1 and 40 ton ha -1 . Each treatment is replicated three times, therefore, overall, there is 60 experimental units. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance with F test and continued by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test with 5% of critical value. The result of this research shows that there is no interaction between time watering interval and slaughterhouse organic fertilizer on growth and yield of lettuce ( Lactuca sativa , L.). The treatment of time watering interval every three days and 40-ton ha -1 organic fertilizer tends to produce better growth and yield of lettuce.
