collected private houses other kind of indoor habitats. ABSTRACT. Data on four introduced spider species from the Urals are provided. One species, Coleosoma floridanum (Banks, 1900), is found in the fauna of Russia for the first time, and three others, Oecobius navus (Blackwall, 1859), Ostearius melanopygius (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1880) and Parasteatoda tabulata (Levi, 1980), are new to the Urals fauna. Thus, the synanthropic fauna of spiders of Perm currently con-sists of 20 species. Four of the five recorded introduced species, C. floridanum , O. melanopygius , P. tabulate , and Nesticella mogera (Yaginuma, 1972), were found in the greenhouse of the Botanical Garden of the Perm State University. The greenhouse spider fauna appears to be rather diverse: besides four introduced species, three synanthropic and 20 native spider species are found there. Data on ecology and/or phenology of the newly recorded introduced species are provided as well.

the ABSTRACT. A new deep-water benthopelagic copepod species Crassarietellus septentrionalis is described from the Svalbard area in the high Arctic. The new species shares the main characters of the body structure and the morphology of oral parts and swimming legs with the genus Crassarietellus Ohtsuka, Boxshall et Roe, 1994 of the Arietellidae and differs from its congeners in the smaller size, the integument, which is not pitted, some details of the antennule and oral parts armament and the caudal rami seta IV, which is of peculiar swollen shape. An intact male P5 of Crassarietellus septentrionalis sp.n. is herein described for the first time for the genus. The genus Crassarietellus is for the first time recorded in the high Arctic (81°N). This represents the northernmost finding of the genus.

is the ABSTRACT: Studying the local fauna of spiders in the vicinity of the Seyakha village (Yamal Peninsula, Siberian Arctic), I identified a total of 47 species be-longing to seven families. Five species ( Agyneta decora , A. ripariensis , Masikia caliginosa , Metopobactrus prominulus , and Walckenaeria clavicornis ) have been recorded for the fauna of Yamal for the first time. The fauna of the Southern, Central, and Northern Yamal differ in species richness (comprised of a total of 165, 61, and 36 species, respectively). I compared the effectiveness of estimations of the species richness for spiders at high latitudes using pitfall traps and a sifter and found no significant differences between these methods. The composition of the dominant species differed between the sample sets collected using pitfall traps and a sifter, although all of these species were present in both sample sets. I found no clear biotopic preferences for populations of the majority of dominant spider species in the Central Yamal.

new species, namely C. bam, C. basarukini and C. kunashirensis from Sakhalin Area. Later, two more species were found in the country, both collected from the Russian Far East: C. confrantis Oliger, 1994 (Maritime Province: Oliger [1994]) and C. striatipes Bösenberg et Strand, 1906 (Sakhalin Area: Marusik & Crawford [2006]). Finally, three species, C. fushun Lin et Li, 2021 and C. huadian Lin et Li, 2021 previously known from China, and C. mikhailovi Marusik et Omelko, 2021 were recently reported from the Maritime province [Marusik, Omelko, 2021]. While studying the material collected in Maritime Province, we found three more species of Cybaeus which do not conform to any known species; these species are described as new to science herein.

Muse-ABSTRACT. The species composition of the micronetine spider genus 1907 is reconsidered, the diversity being restricted to 13 species. The diagnosis of the genus is clarified and extended. A new monotypic genus, Boreomaro gen.n., is established for Maro borealis Eskov, 1991. In addi-tion, further two species of Maro are preliminary transferred to Oreonetides Strand, 1901, i.e. Oreonetides amplus (Dondale et Buckle, 2001), comb.n. and O. bulbosus (Zhao et Li, 2014), comb.n.
