: Productivity is an all-power measure of a national economy and stays beside the main aggregates of the system of national accounts, as the national income Y (a proxy of GDP), the total output X and the circulating capital K , which is the total value of the means of production. { In this paper a notion of the measurement of the productivity of an economy, also called the productiveness of the economy, is proposed. Two algebraic properties have to exist. The (cid:12)rst property (a) has to guarantee that the theorem of Perron-Frobenius [3] can be applied to the appropriate matrices of a production system, as the commodity (cid:13)ow matrix, appearing in Input-Output Tables 1 . The second property (b) has to guarantee the productivity of the economy, i.e., the vector of (cid:12)nal demand (Table 1) is semi-positive.

In the wake of internet spoiling global audiences with memes and political satire, humor established itself as an intrinsic part of contemporary political rhetoric. A universal notion of humor and free speech, however, yet remain an abstract concept as the national context and the meta-narrative allow partisan interpretation, thus drawing the line between laughter and unlaughter. Nonetheless, the clichéd view of the satirist as a rebel, “speaking truth to power” is struggling to fit the image of the right-wing populists, using humor as a tool to aid marketing political ideas both nationally and globally. In respect to political speech, while humor is an eligible means for singling out political allies globally, it is the national state that is the agora on which standards and limits of free speech, ergo what is humor, are negotiated. This article tackles how humor in Bulgarian election campaign in 2021-2022 is used to serve the populist right-wing agenda in pursuit of political advantages over opponents and how the usage of global context fits in the local framework. In a field of political distrust and competing polar ideologies, the problem resides in how the national nuances of defining humor affect political meanings, identity, and the local discourse on culture wars. The article also takes a transnational comparative approach to political humor in the context of its partisan exploit for populist political purposes in European democracies.

By his activity, man leads to degradation of the environment. In accordance to laws of nature, man has the possibility to adjust nature to his needs only to a certain limit. We are talking about the limit when man’s behaviour may become devastating when it comes to overall development of living organisms as well as their survival. The aim of this paper is to show that improvement of the environment by appropriate valorisation of the region of the mouth of Bojana river is a precondition for sustainable development of this region which is very interesting both from the economical as well as ecological point of view considering the rich biodiversity and possibilities for tourist development of the region. The term development is usually used to denote growth or progress. Nevertheless, this term, especially during the past two centuries, has become a synonym for economical growth considering gross domestic income or income per capita. This definition has caused a race among nations in order to achieve and maintain development goals. These goals are often controversial when it comes to the idea of environment protection. In order to restore a balanced relationship between man and nature, the term sustainable development has been adopted. In this paper, the term sustainable development is understood as development which only enables satisfaction of contemporary needs without endangering the needs of future generations and distracting systems which support life or reduce biodiversity.

Despite a surge of studies examining the impact of firm’s social capital on the innovation performance, empirical research shows controversial results. To resolve this problem, this paper conducted a meta-analysis to restudy the relationship between firm’s social capital and innovation performance based on the empirical research results of 63 independent samples. This paper also identified some moderators affecting this relationship. The results indicated that the firm’s social capital-innovation performance link was positive and significant ( r = 0.363), and the age of the firm and the cultural context affected the impact of social capital on innovation performance to a large extent. Based on these findings, this paper developed recommendations for future research.

China is one of the world’s major exporters of fruit and vegetable products, and the expansion of fruit and vegetable exports is important for increasing agricultural income. Based on time-varying stochastic frontier gravity model and trade inefficiency model, this paper empirically analyzes the influencing factors and trade efficiency of China’s fruit and vegetable products export to RCEP partners from 2001 to 2019. The results show that China’s GDP per capita, the population of importing countries, and common language conditions have positive effects on China’s fruit and vegetable products export to RCEP partners. GDP per capita of importing countries, the population of China, and geographical distance between trading parties hinder trade in fruit and vegetable products. The presence of trade inefficiencies constrains China’s fruit and vegetable products export to RCEP partners, with liner shipping connectivity and trade freedom having a positive relationship with export efficiency of fruit and vegetable products. Variable trade costs and fixed trade costs have a negative relationship with export efficiency of fruit and vegetable products, which hinder trade in fruit and vegetable products,while financial freedom and free trade agreements have no significant impact on export efficiency of fruit and vegetable products. results based on the stochastic frontier gravity model illustrate that China’s GDP per capita, the population size of the importing country, and the common language condition have a facilitating effect on China’s fruit and vegetable products export to the RCEP partners.
