An optical fiber comprehensive analysis system for spectral-attenuation and geometry parameters measurement 光纤光谱衰减及几何参数测量综合分析系统

We propose a rapidly automated comprehensive optical fiber analysis system for spectral-attenuation and geometry parameters measurement on G652, G655, G657, GI50, GI62.5 fibers. Currently, an accuracy within 1% for spectral-attenuation measurement has achieved and the repetition of geometry parameters testing is less than 0.1um. Total testing process (do not include the time required to pretreatment and position the fiber) only costs less than 20 seconds, to the best of our knowledge, this is the fastest integrated fiber measurement system.

Depolarization ratio is highly relevant to geometries of atmospheric particles. A polarization Scheimpflug lidar system has been developed for atmospheric particle depolarization studies. Atmospheric measurements were carried out during rush hour for urban particle studies.

A narrow-linewidth ArF excimer laser using a compound cavity with two oscillators but the same discharge chamber is developed. Methods for the locking of narrowband laser modes in long cavity length and insufficient mode competition are introduced.

We present the coherent properties of the 7F 0 ↔5D 0 transition of Eu3+ dopants in Y 2 O 3 nanoparticles, including homogeneous linewidths less than 50 kHz. Such narrow transitions create opportunities for hybrid quantum systems on the nanoscale.

Three-dimensional endoscopic imaging using plenoptic technique combined with F-matching algorithm has been pursued in this study. A custom relay optics was designed to integrate a commercial surgical straight endoscope with a plenoptic camera.

Fiber grating strain sensors often work in the high temperature environment in many special industries. We present the fiber strain sensor working in nearly 300 °C. Through lots of experiments, the influential factors impacted by the temperature are studied. Especially, we introduce the approaches and notices to design this kind of sensors.
