: Two-way immersion (TWI) bilingual education, as a model of strong bilingual education with distinctive characteristics and a unique way of implementation, has been widely practiced in many multi-ethnic, multilingual and multicultural countries, such as the US, and has achieved positive results. This article summarizes and analyzes the implementation mode, characteristics and limitations of the TWI program. In the light of the local conditions of ethnic minority areas in the country, this article also puts forward suggestions on the trial implementation of TWI program in pilot kindergartens in ethnic areas: strengthen national policy support and ensure the vigorous development of preschool bilingual education; stabilize and enhance the quality of bilingual teachers; promote the integration of Han nationality

: To improve the comprehensive experimental skill of undergraduate and penetrate the concept of green chemistry education, we combined with the teaching needs of applied chemistry and designed a comprehensive experiment of preparing green drilling fluid treatment agent with waste citrus peel as raw material. Citrus fruit peel contains a lot of plant phenols, cellulose, soluble polysaccharides and other components, which can be used as drilling fluid to increase viscosity and reduce filtration loss. However, the proportion of water-soluble substance in citrus peel is low and the effect is poor. Therefore, to improve its utilization efficiency, we have applied different methods to modify

: English reading is not only an important part in English teaching, but also an important English ability. There are various teaching methods about English reading teaching, but many of them haven’t embodied good effects which makes many students’ English reading in trouble. Nowadays, many scholars in English teaching advocate task-based teaching method. This method emphasizes English reading teaching and task in order to make students have purpose to read relevant articles. This paper intends to explore how to improve the quality of English reading teaching through Task-based teaching method. As an important part of English teaching, the main purpose of English reading teaching is to cultivate students' reading comprehension ability and cultivate students' understanding of English reading. But the current situation is that English reading teaching in middle school emphasizes more grammar points and word memory and neglects the cultivation of students' reading ability, which will formal a negative impact on students' English learning. As I just mentioned nowadays, more and more scholars advocate task-based teaching method, which can not only improve students' reading ability, but also help them master relevant reading strategies more effectively. At the same time, it can also motive students' learning interests in English reading.

: Under the background of the Three Education reform, the purpose of this study is to sort out the problems concerning teachers, teaching materials and teaching methods in applied colleges and vocational colleges through literature analysis, and put forward relevant countermeasures. At present, there are some problems at the level of teachers, such as imperfect policies for attracting talents, unclear structure of teachers and inadequate measures for retaining talents. In terms of teaching materials, there are some problems such as inconformity with the reality, non-standard selection system and insufficient ideological and political elements in the content. In the aspect of teaching method, there are some problems, such as outdated teaching mode, single teaching means, insufficient cultivation of students' practical ability and unsatisfied demand of information-based teaching. Through analysis and discussion, corresponding countermeasures are put forward according to the existing problems, including the innovation of the three-way training mode for teachers in joint enterprises, solving the problem of attracting talents, reforming the evaluation mechanism,

: In order to change the traditional teacher-centered teaching method in the "Professional English" and improve the students' application ability of "Professional English", CBI (Content Based Instruction) teaching method is introduced into the "Professional English" course for undergraduates majoring in materials. This method emphasizes the autonomous learning method based on the content of materials science and engineering, so as to strengthen the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality, improve students' ability to apply English in the professional field, and stimulate students' autonomous learning initiative and learning efficiency. Using the literature search method, students can choose their own professional knowledge and preview before class. Using the flipped classroom method, students are encouraged to carry out teaching activities in the class, such as trial lectures and classroom discussions. A process assessment based on classroom performance has been established. The results show that students' ability to express themselves in professional English has been strengthened and their learning efficiency has been generally improved. The course assessment process is more reasonable. Compared with the results of the previous school year, the average score

: This study aims to explore the challenges present in the elementary English education of Northeast China, in addition to proposing some corresponding solutions. After referring to previous researches and detailed analyses, this study discovers that these challenges mainly cover insufficient teaching staff, undesirable educational quality and shortage of educational resources. To crack these problems, some measures should be adopted, including attracting the local graduates majoring in English and English Education to return and work as teachers, implementing in-service training and further education, setting up libraries and purchasing English books, as well as introducing modern English teaching facilities. Such a solution is conducive to fundamentally raising the English teaching quality of primary and secondary schools there, thereby contributing the development of northeastern rural education in the long run.
