A Segunda Guerra Mundial e um tema bastante recorrente que desperta grande fascinio nas diversas areas do conhecimento. Varias obras que foram publicadas com o intuito de testemunhar os horrores do Holocausto alcancaram grande exito, uma vez que narrar o inimaginavel parece causar grande impacto nos leitores. Quando Eva Schloss decide publicar a obra “Depois de Auschwitz” ela parece querer evocar, ao mesmo tempo, sentimentos como tristeza e esperanca. O primeiro, obviamente, reflete o abalo sofrido em consequencia da perseguicao dos nazistas. O segundo, por sua vez, emerge como a vontade de sobreviver em meio a desordem. Tomando como ponto de reflexao os objetos pessoais de milhares de prisioneiros do campo de concentracao Auschwitz-Birkenau, este artigo pretende compreender qual a importância desses itens – aglomerados em varios armazens do campo – com as relacoes memorialisticas que eles sugerem. Para tanto, contaremos com o apoio teorico de Maria Esther Maciel (2004), Giorgio Agamben (2008) e Vera Casa Nova (2014).

Los desarrollos de la ciencia y las nuevas tecnologias de la informacion promueven la construccion de nuevos tipos de subjetividades. Tras la difuminacion de los limites se crean diversas identidades que deben renegociar sus formas de relacionarse. Inmersos en las sociedades de control, bajo el dominio de la privatizacion, y guiados por la ambicion de superar todo lo que provoque dolor, dichos sujetos entran en conflicto, y reaparecen tensiones todavia no resueltas, hijas del “sujeto universal” humanista. El presente articulo analiza la vision de un futuro distopico en el primer episodio de la segunda temporada de Black Mirror (2011-2014), “Be right back”, con el objetivo de proponer una reflexion sobre un sujeto que tiende a la digitalizacion y a cruzar barreras hasta hace poco tiempo infranqueables, que constituyen caracteristicas clave en la definicion de lo que ha sido considerado humano a lo largo de la historia; entre ellas nuestro caracter finito, la mortalidad. Ficcion y realidad, humano y no-humano, realidad y virtualidad, son algunos de los binomios que conducen esta historia. Sin embargo, ?como se negocian?; ?lograran generar nuevas categorias identitarias alejadas del humanismo y su vision antropocentrica?; ?desembocaran en una nueva geografia de cuerpos posthumanos?

The Freiburg historian Wolfram Wette has published several books documenting that, especially in the Wehrmacht, but also in other uniformed units there existed a rescue resistance, which consisted of men and women who spontaneously committed their lives to save vulnerable Jews from arrest and to protect them from concentration camps. This type of unplanned resistance, which was not aimed at overthrowing the regime or eliminating Hitler, is still receiving little attention in German public opinion. The members of the Wehrmacht used the space for action available to them to provide efficient humanitarian aid. Some paid for it with their lives and were executed by the National Socialist tyranny. Others survived the war, but were not honored and died in captivity or oblivion. Among a not very large number of such silent and almost unknown heroes - in comparison to the men of July 20, 1944 in the environment of Colonel von Stauffenberg – we have knowledge of the heroic actions of two soldiers from their own records and letters: Sergeant Anton Schmid and Captain Wilm Hosenfeld.
