In most of the cases of keratosis follicularis which have appeared in the literature since Darier's description in 18891there was involvement of the scalp and trunk. The following case is presented because of the unusual distribution of the lesions and the limitation of the disease to the involved extremity. REPORT OF A CASE V. B., a married white woman, aged 30, was first seen by me on Feb. 1, 1946, with the complaint of an eruption on her right leg of seven years' duration. Two months prior to the onset of these lesions the patient had had a severe sunburn. Shortly after the peeling of the skin from the sunburn had completely exfoliated, lesions had appeared on the right thigh and leg. The patient had gone to several physicians, who had prescribed various ointments, none of which had given her any relief. There were no subjective symptoms, but
