We have performed an exclusive measurement of the $K^{-}+! ~^{3}{rm He} to Lambda pn$ reaction at an incident kaon momentum of $1 {rm GeV}/c$.In the $Lambda p$ invariant mass spectrum, a clear peak was observed below the mass threshold of $bar{K}!+!N!+!N$, as a signal of the kaonic nuclear bound state, $bar{K}NN$.The binding energy, decay width, and $S$-wave Gaussian reaction form-factor of this state were observed to be $B_{K} = 42pm3({rm stat.})^{+3}_{-4}({rm syst.}) {rm MeV}$, $Gamma_{K} = 100pm7({rm stat.})^{+19}_{-9}({rm syst.}) {rm MeV}$, and $Q_{K} = 383pm11({rm stat.})^{+4}_{-1}({rm syst.}) {rm MeV}/c$, respectively. The total production cross-section of $bar{K}NN$, determined by its $Lambda p$ decay mode, was $sigma^{tot}_{K} cdot BR_{Lambda p} = 9.3pm0.8({rm stat.})^{+1.4}_{-1.0}({rm syst.}) mu{rm b}$.We estimated the branching ratio of the $bar{K}NN$ state to the $Lambda p$ and $Sigma^{0}p$ decay modes as $BR_{Lambda p}/BR_{Sigma^{0}p} sim 1.7$, by assuming that the physical processes leading to the $Sigma N!N$ final states are analogous to those of $Lambda pn$.
~^{3}{rm He} to Lambda pn$ 事件时的反应 $1 {rm GeV}/c$在…

The slowest reaction in the CNO cycle 14N(p, gamma)15O has been studied by populating the E^lab_p =278 keV (E^r_c.m.=259 keV) proton capture resonant state of ^{15}O at 7556 keV. The strength of the resonance has been determined from the experimental data. The level lifetime of the sub-threshold resonant state at Ex=6792 keV, as well as the lifetimes of the 5181 keV and 6172 keV states, have been measured using the Doppler shift attenuation method (DSAM). The structural properties of the nucleus ^{15}O, such as, the level energies, transition strengths, level lifetimes, and spectroscopic factors, have been calculated theoretically by using the large basis shell model, which agrees reasonably well with the present as well as the previous experimental data.

Release of COHERENT collaboration data from the first detection of coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering (CEvNS) on argon. This release corresponds with the results of "Analysis A" published in Akimov et al., arXiv:2003.10630 [nucl-ex]. Data is shared in a binned, text-based format representing both "signal" and "backgrounds" along with associated uncertainties such that the included data can be used to perform independent analyses. This document describes the contents of the data release as well as guidance on the use of the data. Included example code in C++ (ROOT) and Python show one possible use of the included data.

The precision measurement of the $beta-$spectrum shape for $^{210}$Bi (historically RaE) have been performed with a spectrometer based on semiconductor Si(Li) detector. This first forbidden non-unique transition has the transition form-factor strongly deviated from unity and knowledge of its spectrum would play an important role in low-background physics in presence of $^{210}$Pb background. The measured transition form-factor could be approximated as $S(W) = 1 + (-0.4363 pm 0.0037) W + (0.0523 pm 0.0010) W^2$, that is in good agreement with previous studies and has significantly increased parameter precision.

Overview of Heavy-flavour Measurements in ALICE ALICE

ALICE is devoted to the study of the properties of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). This state of matter is created in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions at the LHC. Heavy quarks are considered effective probes of the QGP since, due to their large masses, they are produced in hard scattering processes and experience the full evolution of the hot and dense medium while interacting with its constituents. The heavy-quark measurements provide insights on processes like in-medium energy loss and hadronization. Measurements in proton-proton collisions provide the baseline for interpreting heavy-ion collision results and constitute an excellent test of pQCD calculations. In addition, proton-nucleus collisions allow separating cold nuclear matter effects from those due to the deconfined strongly interacting matter created in heavy-ion collisions. In this contribution, an overview of recent ALICE results for open heavy flavours, quarkonia, and heavy-flavour jets is presented.

The expected connections between signatures in the soft and hard sectors of small collision systems, and the status of experimental attempts to identify them, are discussed. These proceedings summarize the talk as given at the International Symposium on Multi-Particle Dynamics in September 2019 in Santa Fe, NM (ISMD19). As such, the choice of content and focus are selective and not intended to be comprehensive.

Ultra-peripheral collisions of heavy ions and protons are the energy frontier for electromagnetic interactions. Both photonuclear and two-photon collisions are studied, at collision energies that are far higher than are available elsewhere. In this review, we will discuss physics topics that can be addressed with UPCs, including nuclear shadowing and nuclear structure and searches for beyond-standard-model physics.

During the second LHC long shutdown (LS2) the Inner Tracking System (ITS) of ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) will be replaced by seven layers of CMOS Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (MAPS). The latest innovations in silicon imaging technology allow for the construction of large, ultra-thin silicon wafers which can further improve the capabilities of the ALICE tracker. The research and development studies towards the construction of a novel vertex detector have started. The detector installation has been proposed for the third LHC long shutdown (LS3) during which the three innermost layers shall be replaced by three cylindrical layers of large curved CMOS wafers. This upgrade (ITS3) will further improve the impact parameter resolution and the tracking efficiency of low momentum particles. The innermost layer will be positioned closer to the interaction point and the material budget will be reduced down to 0.05$%X_0$ per layer. Monte Carlo simulations of a simplified ITS3 geometry within the ITS2 design indicate an improvement in the impact parameter resolution and the tracking efficiency, which are of crucial importance for measurements of heavy-flavour hadrons. This contribution shows the improved performance for the example of the $Lambda_{mathrm{b}}$, for which the significance of its measurement is extracted based on these MC simulations. A significant improvement by almost a factor of three in the low momentum region compared to the ITS2 is observed.
