A Novel Positioning System of Potential WiFi Hotspots for Software Defined WiFi Network Planning 一种用于软件定义WiFi网络规划的潜在WiFi热点定位系统

WiFi networks are playing an increasingly important role in the current networks towards the future 5G heterogeneous networks. The pertinence and effectiveness of WiFi network planning and construction, however, is demanding. To solve this problem, a novel positioning system for the potential WiFi hotspots is presented in this paper. The system can analyze the scale of the WiFi users for each site and then locate the potential WiFi hotspots accurately through detecting WiFi network card signals without contact. Accordingly, the WiFi network planning, especially software defined WiFi network planning can be refined and optimized.

Optimal power allocation for coordinated wireless backhaul in OFDM based relay systems 基于OFDM中继系统中协调无线回程的最优功率分配

Coordinated multi-point (CoMP) and wireless relaying are two transmissions technologies that are expected to be widely deployed in future LTE-Advanced (LTE-A), to improve high data rate coverages and cell-edge throughputs. Motivated by the common cooperative diversity feature, in this paper we propose a novel OFDM-based relay system with coordinated wireless backhaul (i.e., CoMP backhaul), in which two cooperative base stations (CBS) simultaneously transmit information to an infrastructure-based cell-edge relay node (RN). This proposal allows to enhance the rate of the backhaul link, and consequently enables an improvement in end-to-end (e2e) throughput that the mobile user perceives. In order to maximize the achievable e2e rate, a new co-phasing waterfilling power allocation scheme is developed for the multi-carrier CoMP backhaul. By the aid of first-order Taylor series expansion, a simplified iterative co-phasing waterfilling (ICPWF) algorithm is proposed to determine the optimal power allocation solution. Numerical results are presented to verify the optimality of the derived scheme, and to quantify the e2e throughput gains that our prosposed scheme provides when compared to traditional non-coordinated ones.

Cooperative Wireless Data Access Algorithms in Multi-Radio Wireless Networks 多无线电无线网络中的协同无线数据访问算法

In the future, most mobile nodes will have multiple radio interfaces, and this feature can be exploited to reduce the transmission cost in wireless data access applications. In this work, we propose cooperative wireless data access algorithms with strong consistency in multi-radio wireless networks. It can be shown that cooperation with neighbor nodes can reduce the expensive transmission cost over wireless links.

Service Oriented Wireless Sensor Network Toolbox for Consumer Applications 面向消费者应用的面向服务的无线传感器网络工具箱

Service-oriented computing which provides flexible composition of various applications using multiple reusable services has getting more attractive. We propose a service oriented wireless sensor networks toolbox, which encapsulates complexities of sensor networks and enables simple service compositions using an intuitive GUI. We utilize sensor networks as a collection of services that are discovered and coordinated by users. Service metadata which are self-describing service capabilities and interfaces are defined and exposed via our service metadata repositories. A service oriented sensor network toolbox consisting of sensor networks, an intuitive GUI application that retrieves metadata for discovered services and helps users to composite various roles are presented.

DLNA-Based IPTV Platform 基于dlna的IPTV平台

DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) enabled devices allow users to enjoy distributed content anywhere in the home without requiring user configuration. However, currently DLNA usage is restricted to the home domain. The solution proposed in this paper expands DLNA usage to IPTV (IP Television) services provided by Telco operators. User experience is enhanced because all content, no matter whether it is an IPTV provided TV channel or a Video on Demand (VoD), or a content residing in the home, is integrated into a single application and can be accessed from any DLNA device. Furthermore, we have evaluated the proposed solution building a test bed including DLNA Media Players that can be bought at stores.
