The study is to assess the knowledge and attitude regarding NSV among Married men. A quantitative research approach with descriptive design was used to achieve the objectives of the study. A Non- probability purposive sampling technique was adopted with a sample size of 100 men. The findings revealed that majority of the women 70% were not using contraceptive methods whereas, only 30% were using contraceptive methods. 18% of the women had moderately adequate knowledge, 1% of the women had adequate knowledge and 81% of the women had inadequate knowledge regarding Copper T insertion. There was a significant association between the level of knowledge and family income and previous history of using temporary contraception where P < 0.05. There was no significant association between the level of knowledge and demographic variables such as Age, religion, type of family, educational status occupation, method of adoption and source of information where P > 0.05. As for attitude was 22% of the men favorable attitude, 59% had unfavorable attitude and 19% had most favorable attitude regarding Copper T insertion. There was a significant association between level of attitude and religion where P< 0.01. There was a significant association between level of attitude and demographic variables such as educational status and occupation where P < 0.05. There was no significant association between the level of attitude and demographic variables such as age, type of family, previous history of using temporary contraception, method of adoption and source of information where P > 0.05, p >0.01.The study revealed that 81% had inadequate knowledge regarding NSV and 19% had most favorable attitude regarding NSV.

Goal. The study of the correlation relationship of morphofunctional indicators depending on the sports specialization of highly qualified male and female submariners. Materials and methods. Mathematical processing of the results was carried out on a personal computer using the programs Mikrosoft Word and Mikrosoft Excel. The study involved athletes specializing in various disciplines of underwater sports. Results. Using correlation analysis, based on the morphofunctional characteristics of submariners, it was established: - swimmers who specialize in swimming in fins at stayer distances have an athletic build, an above-average body length and a relatively small body weight, which allows them to effectively overcome the resistance of the water environment. - swimmers-submariners sprinters have high indicators of length and body weight, which allows them to perform high-level work of speed and power orientation

A cross sectional study has been conducted at primary health center in Baghdad for the period of 6 months to assess the diarrhea disease occurring among children under 5 years. The sample size was 120. Data collection was carried out by direct interview with the mother of the children and filling a questionnaire including: age, sex, residence, level of mother education, occupation of mother, etc….). The results shows that the 41.7% of children were in the age group <1 years, 51.7% were female and 48.3% were male. (47.5%) of mothers had primary education, 80% of mothers had moderate socioeconomic status. Tap 77.5% was the main source of water. Highly significant differences had been found between the age and type of feeding P <0.000. we need to advice the mothers to increase the fluids and continue feeding during future episodes

Introduction: Working on ships has its perks, but it is a well known fact that working at the sea is one of the most hazardous occupations, in regards to personal health and safety concerns of sailors. Sailors are exceptional in their profession, having to spend a large part of their lives at sea. The main objectives of the study were to prepare IEC package on prevention of occupational health hazards, to evaluate the effectiveness of IEC package on knowledge regarding occupational health hazards among sailors, and to findout association between the knowledge scores of sailors regarding occupational health hazards and its management with selected demographic variables. Methods:A quantitative (experimental) research approach was used with Solomon group four designs in the present study. The study was conducted at Anglo Eastern Maritime Training Centre, New Delhi, on 60 sailors. The tool developed and utilized for the data collection were structured knowledge questionnaire to assess the knowledge regarding occupational hazards and their prevention among sailors before and after administration of the IEC package. Findings: The mean post knowledge scores were found to be higher than the mean pretest knowledge scores after administering IEC package. IEC package was found effective at 0.05 level of significance by using paired t test which showed increase in the knowledge to prevent occupational health hazards. Religion and work experience were found to be significantly related to knowledge regarding occupational health hazards and its management.

A common complication of diabetes, HIV infection, and other chronic systemic conditions and exposures, distal sensory peripheral neuropathy is increasingly prevalent worldwide; the physical, mental, and economic burdens are significant. As no curative therapies exist to date, early detection of peripheral neuropathy (PN) affords patients the best chance to reverse it through education, intensive lifestyle modifications, and multidisciplinary management. Concerning diabetic PN, obstacles to effective screening include low clinical priority, failure to screen patients during prediabetes, confusion regarding methods and goals of testing, and possibly inexperience with thermal testing. Providers and advanced practice nurses are well-positioned to advocate for and implement early PN detection programs, screen for complications including sleep and mood disorders, promote multidisciplinary management, identify strategies to reduce pain and other PN symptoms, and counsel patients regarding many aspects of safety and self-care for improved quality of life. This manuscript provides a brief overview of PN with an emphasis on diabetic PN, a discussion of the aforementioned obstacles to effective screening, and a summary of recommendations to improve PN identification in clinical practice.

Optimizing hemodynamics improves patient outcomes in critically ill patients. There are many types of hemodynamic monitoring. When choosing the monitoring type, factors include accuracy, invasiveness, the desired hemodynamic variables, and potential complications. For example, the Pulmonary Artery Catheter is invasive and can be associated with catheter-related complications. Still, the values it provides have been validated and may be more useful when treating patients with heart problems. New minimally invasive and noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring systems, such as the Flo Trac and the ClearSight, deliver functional hemodynamic values that can be used to evaluate the real-time response to fluid administration. Minimally invasive and noninvasive devices’ ease of use, availability, and relative lack of patient complications make them appealing. However, they may lack accuracy in some situations.

Screening for Peripheral Artery Occlusive Disease (PAOD) remains a challenge in the prevention and care of patients with arteriosclerosis. The Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) is currently the gold standard. However, ABI is time consuming and requires some expertise to perform which is a limiting factor for global screening. The measurement of the Systolic Rise Time (SRT) of the pulse wave of the lower limb may provide an easier alternative to detect PAOD. In a retrospective pilot study, we analyzed the possibility of detecting PAOD using the SRT of the toe waveform using the Photo-PlethysmoGraphic signal (PPG).

In the wake of this pandemic, the Government took several preventive measures to contain its spread, mainly ensuring physical and social distance. Some of the initial measures included the partial blocking of commercial and social activities, closing of all educational institutions, suspension of all community services and political meetings, among others. Some of the initial measures also included: recommended and, in some cases, mandatory hand washing; deny students studying in China to return home; voluntary quarantine; mandatory institutional quarantine at own expense; suspension of public and private transport; and imprisonment for non-compliance with the measures

The objective of the work was to analyze the autistic spectrum disorder and the current laws in Brazil. In addition to the concept of TEA, a special law composed of a total of 8 (eight) articles establishes the inherent rights of these people, and in its 2nd article, establishes guidelines for national policies, including the intersectoriality of service actions of development; community participation; comprehensive attention to the needs of autistic patients, etc. The type of study is a systematic review, research of this type has the primary objective of exposing the attributes of a given phenomenon or statement among its variables. Thus, it is recommended that it presents characteristics such as: analyzing the atmosphere as a direct source of data and the researcher as a switch instrument; not to broker the use of statistical artifices and methods, having as a greater apprehension the interpretation of phenomena and the imputation of results, the method should be the main focus for the approach and not the result or the fruit, the appreciation of the data should be achieved from intuitively and inductively through the researcher
