The present study aims to discuss the requirements that characterize teleworking with the advent of Labor Reform. Thus, it seeks to understand general aspects inherent to this new form of work organization, such as concept, characteristics and modalities. To carry out this research, as a methodology, we opted for a literature review on doctrines, legislation and jurisprudence that deal with the topic under analysis. It was seen that teleworking has advantages and disadvantages for the worker, for companies and for society. Everything indicates that, if the sense of teleworking is not distorted and, if implemented with due care and minimum observance of the recommended standards, this type of work tends to prove beneficial for the members of the employment relationship and to positively impact employment. society. However, the theme demands a more in-depth study, in view of the existence of a large field to raise judicial questions, especially with regard to the teleworking workday. The real effects, benefits and damages to the rights and health of the worker, only time can reveal.

COVID-19 pandemic caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2) was first discovered in December 2019 in Wuhan, China and later declared a pandemic on March 11, 2020 by the WHO. This study was conducted to assess the impact of COVID -19 pandemic and its attendant infection prevention of lockdown on ANC utilization and deliveries by skilled birth attendants in Kaduna State. It is a retrospective data review of 18 months data on ANC clinic visit and skill birth delivery from 1,722 health facilities. October 2019 to March 2021 data was extracted from the DHIS 2. The analysis was carried out on SPSS using One Way ANOVA. A decline of 13.5% antenatal attendance for first booking compared to pre-COVID-19 was recorded. There was a slight increase of 3.5% Post-COVID-19. There was also a reduction of 4.1% in the number of pregnant women who had the four recommended ANC visits during the COVID-19 compared to pre-COVID-19 period. However, there was a reduction of 10.2% of pregnant women returning post COVID-19 lockdown. The study revealed increased number of pregnant women that delivered during and post COVID-19. There was an increase of 2, 753 and 1,699 during and post-COVID-19, respectively. At 95% confidence interval using significance value is 0.610 (i.e., p = .610), the significance is more than 0.05. Therefore, there is no statistically significant difference in the ANC utilization and skill birth attendance before, during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore Covid-19 did not affect ANC and skill birth deliveries.

Both the skin of newborns and the elderly have a structure and composition that makes it weaker and more susceptible to damage from friction and external aggressions. It is approximately 60% thinner than that of the adult and has a smaller amount of hair. In addition, the functions of the stratum corneum are diminished, there is less cohesion between the dermis and the epidermis, less sebaceous and sweat production, and the pH they present is neutra

Eating disorders are common in children. With the evolving time, the typical anorexia nervosa or bulimia are less common. These are identified earlier. In fact, other types of relatively less severe eating disorders are being identified more, which are subtle and more difficult to identify and manage.

Objectives: To analyze how nurses’ hours worked and occupational stress contribute to the development of Burnout Syndrome in times of pandemic by Covid-19. Method: Integrative review of articles indexed in the LILACS, ScieELO, BDENF and VHL databases using DECS / MSH descriptors. The categorization adopted was as follows: “worker health”, which covered the results of the descriptors “occupational stress”, “quality of life” and “professional exhaustion”, and “coronavirus infections”.

There are a number of issues and risk factors which can affect the health of workers in every occupation. As an employee and occupational health nurse, I also observed some issues in my organization. I was assigned a project to be conducted as a part of my course, I selected the “Emergency First Aid Training Awareness in occupational health” for my project. During my assessment I observed that there are many issues related to occupational health, like physical health hazards, chemical health hazards and biological health hazards. But foremost of them was lack of knowledge of occupational workers regarding emergency first aid care. I assessed the knowledge of workers by developing a questionnaire. Most of them were unaware about first aid at a work place. I arranged different sessions for the workers to trained them regarding first aid provision in their work place. I used different teaching aids like poster presentations, showing videos clips and demonstration. I also used the concept of “Orem’s self-care theory” in my project. The results of my implementation of sessions and demonstration were effective. The employees demonstrated good skills of first aid at the end of my project.
