Structural Diversity in Organotin(IV) Carboxylates: A Study of X-Ray Crystallography 有机锡(IV)羧酸盐的结构多样性:x射线晶体学研究

Among the organotin compounds, organotin(IV) carboxylates adapt a fascinating range of structural diversity, including monomer, dimer, tetramer, polymer, oligomer ladder, cyclic and hexameric drums structures. Generally fourand five coordinated complexes are observed in triorganotin(IV) complexes. While diorganotin(IV) complexes displayed a large range of structures, including five, six and seven coordinate geometries with distorted trigonalbipyramidal, octahedral and pentagonal bipyramidal structures. Distannoxanes complexes are also observed in diorganotin(IV) complexes. A comprehensive review, organotin(IV) carboxylates are presented with particular reference to their structural studies as described bycrystallography methods.

Analysis of Different Ball Point Pen Inks Using Thin Layer Chromatography and Comparison with FTIR Spectrometer 不同圆珠笔油墨的薄层色谱分析及与FTIR光谱仪的比较

In this study the black, blue and red ball point inks were classified into two groups using the Rf values. Color tones of dyestuff bands were separated by normal phase thin layer chromatography (TLC). The classification is effective for the preliminary identification of ball point ink which is used for document forgery. Furthermore, the separated components were analyzed by means of Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). FTIR analysis revealed that each band can be characterized and then differentiated by looking the pattern of each spectrum. The results are complementary for TLC and FTIR and these are non-destructive methods.

Investigations on Some Biologically Active Divalent Transition Metal Complexes with Ditellurium Tetraazamacrocycles 具有生物活性的四氮杂环二碲二价过渡金属配合物的研究

: Some 10-membered ditellurium tetraazamacrocyclic complexes of Ni(II), Pd(II) and Pt(II) were synthesized by template condensation of diaryltellurium(IV) dichlorides, (aryl = p methoxyphenyl, 3-methyl-4-hydroxyphenyl and p -hydroxyphenyl) with 1,2-diaminopropane and divalent metal chlorides in dry methanol. Characterization of these newly synthesized complexes was carried out by elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility measurement and Infrared, proton nuclear magnetic resonance and electronic absorption spectroscopy. On the basis of these studies, a square planar geometry has been assigned for Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes and a distorted octahedral geometry for the Ni(II) complexes. The antibacterial and antifungal activities of these complexes, have also been screened in vitro against some pathogenic fungal and bacterial strains to assess their growth inhibiting potential. The MIC shown by these complexes were compared with the MIC shown by standard antifungal (fluconazole) and antibacterial (cefadroxil) drugs.

Electrochemical Determination of Anesthetic Drug Ropivacaine in Pharmaceutical Formulations by Differential Pulse Cathodic Adsorptive Stripping Voltammetry 差分脉冲阴极吸附溶出伏安法测定麻醉药物罗哌卡因的含量

Electrochemical behaviour of ropivacaine at glassy carbon electrode was studied by cyclic and differential pulse cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry (DPCAdSV) under different experimental conditions. The voltammetric peak current and potential for the reduction of ropivacaine were analyzed at different pH, scan rate and concentration. The voltammograms exhibited irreversible reduction of ropivacaine in B.R. buffer of pH 9. The proposed method was successfully applied for the determination of the drug which is commercial liquid. The proposed differential pulse cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetric method shows limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) are 7.79×10 g/mL and 4.26×10 g/mL respectively.

Green Synthesis of Copper Nanoparticles Using Syzygium Cumin, Leaf Extract, Characterization and Antimicrobial Activity 利用小茴香及其叶提取物绿色合成纳米铜颗粒、表征及抗菌活性

: The use of plant material for synthesis of nanoparticles is a green technology. This green technique was used for synthesis of copper nanoparticles by biologically reducing copper sulphate solution with aqueous Syzygium Cumin leaf extract at pH 5.0. The formation of copper nanoparticles was indicated by the colour change from yellow to brown. The UV-Visible spectrum of copper nanoparticles gave surface Plasmon resonance (SPR) of 190 nm. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), x-ray, diffraction (XRD) and FTIR, These biologically synthesized copper nanoparticles were tested for antimicrobial activity against human pathogens viz . Bacillus subtilis and E-coli . Presence of elemental copper was revealed by EDAX. These biologically synthesized copper nanoparticles were found to be effective in controlling growth of human pathogens viz., Bacillus subtilis and E-coli .

Phytochemical Screening and Nutritional Analysis of Some Parts of Celosia argentea L. 凤仙花部分植物化学筛选及营养成分分析。

: The present study was aimed to investigate the preliminary phytochemical screening, nutritive value, mineral and heavy metal contents of the leaf, stem and flower of Celosia argentea L. belonging to family Amaranthaceae. Different parts of the plant were subjected to soxhlet using organic solvent such as methanol. A variety of phytoconstituents which include alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, saponins, carbohydrates, proteins, steroids and amino acids were reported from C. argentea which include alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, saponins, carbohydrates, proteins, steroids and amino acids. All the above phytoconstituents were present in leaf and stem whereas, flower showed the presence of alkaloids, carbohydrates, proteins and steroids. The results obtained indicate that the extracts contain medicinally important bioactive constituents and also heavy metals within the permissible limits. This justifies its use in the traditional medicine for the treatment of various diseases and for edible purposes. of Gomphrena celosioides and Piper guineense who had similar results on the seed of Amaranthus species.

Phytochemical Screening and Nutritional Analyses of Some Edible Parts of Dioscorea bulbifera L. 黄薯蓣部分可食部位的植物化学筛选及营养分析。

: The present study was aimed to carry out the preliminary phytochemical screening and determine nutritive value, mineral and heavy metal contents in bulbil and tuber extracts of Dioscorea bulbifera L. belonging to family Dioscoreaceae. The dried plant parts were subjected to successive Soxhlet extraction using solvents of increasing polarity such as petroleum ether, chloroform, methanol, ethanol and aqueous. All the extracts were subjected to qualitative phytochemical screening and it showed the presence of active constituents such as alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, steroids and terpenoids. The mineral analysis of D. bulbifera revealed that it may act as a good source of diet as it contains good amounts of necessary mineral elements, fats, proteins and sugars essential for human health. Heavy metals and inorganic elements were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry technique. The results obtained shows that the levels of three potentially toxic heavy metals analyzed were quite below the permissible limits in both the plant parts analyzed. This justifies its use in the traditional medicine for the treatment of different diseases and as a potential source of alternative food.

Synthesis and Characterization of Mixed Ligand Complexes of Cobalt 钴混合配体配合物的合成与表征

The synthesis and characterization of mixed ligand complexes of transition metal of I transition series such as Co is done by the condensation of Schiff base and 8-hydroxyquinoline. The synthesized complexes are characterized by using gravimetric analysis, CHNS, conductivity measurement and different spectral methods like IR and NMR.
采用希夫碱与8-羟基喹啉缩合的方法合成了I类过渡金属(如Co)的混合配体配合物并进行了表征。利用重量分析、CHNS、电导率测量以及红外、核磁共振等不同的光谱方法对合成的配合物进行了表征。

Microwave Assisted Hydrolysis of Cellulose to Release Sugars from Pongamia Oil Cake for its use in Bioethanol Production 微波辅助水解纤维素以释放糖以生产生物乙醇

Biomass based biofuels has been a promising alternative source of energy for the past few decades. The major hurdle is the technologies of production and challenges involved in processing time. This work describes the use microwave radiation to produce bioethanol from a byproduct of biodiesel industry viz., Pongamia pinnata oil seed cake. The powdered oil cake was acid treated under microwave radiation for release of reducing sugars. The kinetics of the microwave process was studied and found that microwave mediated process accelerates the acid hydrolysis of oil cake in comparison with conventional heating method. Further, the multistage process for microwave mediated acid hydrolysis was adapted to increase the overall yield. The yield did not improve beyond 3 stages. The hydrolysate obtained was fermented to produce bioethanol using Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Molecular Docking Study of Novel Aryl Imine Derivatives for Anti Staphylococcus aureus 新型抗金黄色葡萄球菌芳基亚胺衍生物的分子对接研究

: In this work, we collected three dimensional structure of Sortase A from Staphylococcus aureus which plays an important role in structural stability of staphylococcus aureus . The protein structure was collected from PDB data bank. From the 3D structure of the protein, the targeted structure was developed. Docking studies was performed with designed compounds. The derivatives docked to the protein by hydrogen boding interactions and these interactions play an important role in the binding studies. Docking results showed the best compounds among the derivatives.
