The main form of teaching and learning of any type of dance has produced orally, observing movements directly between the student and the teacher. However, the need for coding is rooted in human nature. There are different notation systems in dance. In some percussive dance styles of feet is a fundamental aspect as in the flamenco, with zapateado, also known as tapping or clicking heels. This paper aims to show an analysis of the issues addressed in the tap dance notation systems to assess its possible introduction in teaching. This analysis was conducted through a literature review, the strengths and weaknesses of the different aspects and then systems based on the conclusions will be presented, develop our proposal notation that could be introduced in the classroom Early Childhood Education.

The aim of this paper is to analyze the use of the interactive whiteboard (DIW) as a teaching resource for teachers to determine the level of knowledge, advantages, disadvantages and incidence of DIW to be used in the teaching-learning process. The field work was carried out in the Millennium Educational Unit Paiguara, Canton Gualaceo, Azuay Province, Ecuador; teachers and students, male and female eighth, ninth and tenth General Basic Education participated in this research. The survey technique used was supported by google drive forms, a questionnaire for each study group was applied. It was identified that the level of knowledge about the use of DIW is low; teachers and students recognize that the DIW can reinforce the contents during classes; and disadvantages highlighted that DIW promotes distractions, it does not allow the application of practical work and it is used only as a mean to project videos. Among the positive influences manifested that encourage critical learning as a high percentage of teachers; however, it is believed that quality of the studentś tasks presentations is not improving, which is contradicted by the student's opinion. For the ones who are interested in improving the education system, the bases are on the experience and impacts of deploying resources of innovative technological tools, modifying recurrent paradigms of those who work on education and the ones who are benefited by it.

Actually, the scientific community indicates the existence of a lot of health problems derived from a sedentary lifestyle and it can be prevented by physical activity from an early age. Many scientific studies have focused on this issue in recent years, nothing that resistance training is a method capable of dealing with a number of diseases in childhood and developed mainly in adulthood. Once empirically disproved the false beliefs that claimed that exposure to heavy external loads in childhood stopped or changed the final height of the individual, the aim of this study is to make a literature review of recent studies in order to present the main benefits of resistance training in children (motor benefits, health, psychological/psychosocial and injury prevention), in order to implement it in schools. Finally, it concludes that this work opens the door to future research and applications to address such issues.

Collaborative competition is a very useful tool for university students. The diversity of professional fields that exist today demand competent workers to adapt to a complex and changing labor situation. In this sense, teamwork becomes very important to require collaboration among professionals to achieve a final goal. This article describes a proposed collaborative work carried out with university students in the fourth year of teaching in the University of Valencia who were in the path of specialization in Music Education.

The aim of this article is to collect appropriate information on the characteristics of educational management in times of reforms or changes in its institutional structures.
This review adopts a descriptive qualitative methodology and applies documentary analysis as a technique to identify, describe and represent the content of the documents in a way other than the originals’, in order to enable its diffusion and use for other research studies and documents on educational management.
The findings are intended to participate in a discussion about the set of routines, habits and institutional practices that form educational management in times of reform.

Rhythm is a natural and human phenomenon that spans multiple manifestations as form of art. Music education devotes much of its efforts on rhythmic development. This article aims to show the bodily elements that affect the teaching and learning of musical language, especially considering its rhythmic content. A bibliographic synthesis of the main authors who have contributed data and rhythmic proposals along with a brief educational intervention proposal in this regard, is presented. Teaching musical language is firmly linked to the rhythmic education and in this regard Jaques-Dalcroze as a pioneer in the development and introduction into school levels. Jaques-Dalcroze and his supporters organized a method of teaching musical language based on rhythmic skills through a series of exercises designed for this purpose. Also presented in this article proposals for teaching musical language through rhythmic development for different ages, both children and adults.

This article gathers the perceptions of 143 teachers of Primary Education in Spanish schools about their moral teaching development; 45.5% men and 54.5% women. A systematic random sampling was conducted, providing an assurance of validity and reliability to the instrument.
This work represents a descriptive and explanatory cross-sectional study determining: means, medians and typical deviations ( = 3.549, Md = 3.558 and α = 0.329), showing a distribution close to the normal curve and a moderate agreement in the opinions; inferencial sampling integrated by: mean differences (Student's t-test and ANOVA variance) to identify if there are significant differences between the informants’ opinions, depending on their characteristics or situations.
Results have demonstrated that we must take a moral stance instead of our own personal one, we must counteract the exercise of power as it only involves having dominion over the other person, and we must enable self-management in the classroom in order to develop an autonomous moral which will result in a high level of coherence between judgement and moral action.
No major differences between the informants’ opinions were identified according to gender, age or school culture, which provided clear evidence in the relationship between moral development and teaching in the classroom.

Elderly people that use information and communication technology (ICT) at the social centers for elderly people in Asturias are the object of study in the present investigation. A preliminary analysis allows affirming that elderly population that makes use of ICTs is a very small percentage of the total elderly population in Asturias. Thus, it is necessary to know the distinguishing characteristics (personal and socio-demographic) of this elderly users of ICT, with the purpose of establishing some clear guidelines that allow extending ICT's use to other elderly people. This is the reason why the mixed design of the investigation is focused in knowing in depth the profile of the elderly users of ICT at the social centers for elderly people in Asturias.

This research is developed in a Faculty of Education Sciences where future teachers are being trained. The aim is to analyze the different students’ learning modalities belonging to the Master for Teachers’ Training of the Catholic University of Valencia and the differences among specialities. We have used the VARK Questionnaire that classifies students into their learning styles: visual, aural, read/write and kinesthetic. This questionnaire was applied to a sample of 262 students. Majority of students (71.4%) are multimodal and they prefer AK (aural-kinesthetic), ARK (aural-read-write-kinesthetic) and VARK (vidual-aural-read-write-kinesthetic) styles. The higher score respecting to V, A, R, and K proportions is aural modality (32.2%). Significant statistically differences for gender were found in the read/write learning style. No difference has been found related to the students’ speciality. It may be because of a traditional teaching style (master class and passive and rote learning). These results were compared with other researches and some discrepancies were found.

In this article the results of an exploratory study regarding tutoring in graduate of the National Pedagogic University are described. Four levels of analysis (discursive, regulatory, operational and daily), which identify the scope and challenges of mentoring teachers in educational development formation, are used. Among the results highlight the identification of inconsistencies between the discursive, regulatory, operational and daily levels of mentoring. The existence of contradictory discourses are identified, with a lack of support and recognition of mentoring; no definition of the tutor profile; confusion between the notions of tutor and advisor; and lack of mechanisms for training to perform their tasks tutor. As for the conclusions tutoring is identified as a key factor to potentiate the learning of students; however, attention to the aspect of school performance is limited.
