Perceptual MVDR-based unsupervised built-in speaker normalization for Kazakh speech recognition 基于感知mvdr的哈萨克语语音识别的无监督内置说话人归一化

In this work we present a novel approach to unsupervised speaker normalization on top of the Perceptual MVDR-based Built-in Speaker Normalization technique. We showed that the proposed method can be efficient for the task of phonetic recognition on TIMIT and then applied it to Kazakh speech recognition. From the experiments, we see that this method is able to improve the relative performance of ASR systems up to 20% The analysis of the optimal warp factor selection by the algorithm revealed a nice gender separation ability which may be used for gender/speaker classification tasks.

Flexible database for configurable information systems: The relational approach 可配置信息系统的灵活数据库:关系方法

For today conditions of using information system presuppose availability of tools, by which developers can quickly adjust their products in accordance with the updated requirements. In connection with this arises the problem of automating the information system development and reducing the share of labor expenditures for writing the source code. The paper presents a solution for this problem, which is based on the modernization of data and knowledge storing technologies.

Fast-FMI: Non-reference image fusion metric Fast-FMI:非参考图像融合度量

In this paper, we present a non-reference image fusion metric based on the mutual information of image features. Whereas a recent metric proposed by the author called FMI achieves such a goal, the algorithm is complex and has high memory requirements for its calculations. This paper shows how to modify the model of FMI, and proposes a faster algorithm to achieve similar results. The new algorithm achieves a significant complexity reduction in comparison to the previous model. Various experiments prove the efficiency of the algorithm in consistency with the subjective criteria. Parallel merge sort with double merging 双归并并行归并排序

Sorting is one of the fundamental problems in computer science. With the proliferation of multi core processors, parallel algorithms for sorting have become very important. In this study, we propose a new parallel merge sort algorithm in which two threads perform the merge operation simultaneously. We have implemented the new merge sort algorithm in Java. We compared the results of the new algorithm with the parallel merge sort implemented in Java library. The results showed that the new algorithm provides between %20-%30 percent speed increase in a quad core system when sorting 10M to 50M double numbers.

Multi-factorial predictive modelling of drug addiction for large urban areas 大城市吸毒成瘾的多因素预测模型

The modelling of the society of drug addicts in order to predict the amount of drug users in the large urban areas, including age and sex structure is considered. The model parameters are estimated on the basis of the economic and psychological state of society in the specific area. The simulation framework for analysing social groups deals with the relation of drug abuse to dependence for individuals falling into certain groups. External factors of the region's development are considered as governing variables in the model. Some model results for StPetersburg (Russia) are shown. Monitoring of the drug situation is carried out using an automated information system based on Java2EE technologies and an inter-department database developed in Oracle 11g. A mathematical model for the forecasting of the drug situation is implemented using SAS/EVIL language and SAS libraries for matrix and statistical calculations.

[1] Sequencing is the process of defining the order in which the set of jobs to be completed are done. Scheduling is the process of adding start and finish information to the job order dictated by the sequence. There are 5 basic types of scheduling: Single Machine Scheduling; Parallel Machine Scheduling; Open Shop Scheduling; Flow Shop Scheduling; and Job Shop Scheduling. This paper is about the implementation of the algorithms for these basic scheduling and types and developing heuristic approaches to more complex scheduling problems. [2] A heuristic is an algorithm which tries but not guarantees to find the optimum solution but gives good results for NP-hard or NP-complete problems. NP means non-deterministically polynomial time.

The age of the ubiquity of the Internet has arrived. Globalization of the Planet is going to continue to develop the Information Society, the Internet is expanding, Internet Protocol version 6 is being developed, there was a strong influence on the Internet of things, smart appliances are already going mass market and a rapidly changing global IT trends. They serve to globalization process, but teleoperation and telepresence, monitor and control distance objects; ubiquitous positioning, Internet Governance, key trends and we think that is the right time to be prepared for future. We present a new concept and a new instrument - Internets copy that allows observing remote objects by collecting big data and visualize the situation in multipurpose and multileveled government applications. Although practically useful and simple to implement, the proposed new concept enables to government heads to monitor a government situation national and international wide scales and multipurpose sectors, as customs, foreign diplomatic relations, healthcare, economy, ecology, education and other areas.

Co-evolutional genetic algorithm for workflow scheduling in heterogeneous distributed environment 异构分布式环境下工作流调度的协同进化遗传算法

Flexible and efficient workflow scheduling is a key feature for modern distributed heterogeneous computational environments to satisfy requirements of scientific community. In this paper, we propose novel co-evolutional scheduling algorithm which demonstrates with conducted experiments how nature-inspired concept can improve existing schedulers and help to generate better schedules oriented on makespan minimization.
